Bellissima vista sull’oceano. Camere spaziose e personale cordiale.
Pancake a colazione molto gustosi.

The tacos shrimp only
it does not look at all like on the pictures..
it is dirty, the toilets, the room, the pool, we did not even fancy going into the pool nor the plunge pool we had in our room…
Toilets were broken
There we no hot water at all..
It is in middle of nowhere so you will pay a fortune to go anywhere..
The staff is the worst we have seen in Mexico..:
*Not competent at all
*Does not know what they are doing
*Does not speak English but pretend to do
*Lies about what is the area or not ( they tell you there are no restaurants but there is, it is just not theirs, they tell you a cenote 30 min away but there is one 5 minutes away, it is just not theirs)
Staff is that slow that the breakfast supposed to start a 7.30 am, we had to leave as they were not capable to prepare something before 8 am
Food and drinks:
- Pizza are frozen pizzas..
- They cut the drinks with water so they are disgusting..
- No lime in Margaritas….a joke!
- The tacos are OK
- The restaurant speaks better English than the staff of the hotel..
Basically, travellers are appealed by the price as it seems cheap for a beach front but the quality of everything is so low that it seemed very overpriced

the pool we could get in walking out our “balcony” door (we were ground floor)! the mescal drinks were fresh and fabulous and the bar tender made them just the way we liked them!! lots of cenotes near by.
the beach was covered in plastic garbage 😔

It was cute, food was good
The amount of seaweed build up on the beach.
Had no hot water for the shower the first night.
The day we were checking out, we loaded the car and told the gentleman at the front desk we were going to eat breakfast, freshen up in the room afterwards and get the rest of our things, then check out, check out is at 11 and this was around 9 am. When I went back to the room, the door was open and there was a maintenance man on a ladder in the shower, strange
Then when I went to get my last bag, it had been gone through and items pulled out and put on the dresser !!
I was furious !! When we went to check out and told the gentleman, he said he thought we checked out, I mentioned that we had not turned in our key and had told him we were having breakfast and had 1 more bag to get. I got a blank stare !! Then he goes on the radio to see if we can check out and the housekeepers come back and say yes. I asked if he had told the housekeepers before if we were checking out and he said, well no. So, why on earth was the maintenance man in our room and why did he go through our bag ??
Not happy and we left. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough cash for a good tip for the housekeepers and we wanted to leave a tip for the girl that had helped us at check in and booked a day trip for us. But, we were so angry, we left the housekeeper what we had and left.

Old hotel, rusty pool, horrible beach, room looked very old. The food at the restaurant wasn’t good at all.

Very friendly staff, beautiful place and great food.
It's kind of far from town maybe next time I'll get a rental car instead of relying on a taxi.

Nice Beach
Far from tulum if you dont have transportation
3.5 / 5.0
Quiet and off the beach
water pressure sucked, and we didn’t really have hot water
4.0 / 5.0
The fact that they limit you to two bottles of water a day. Seems a little ridiculous been in a country where you cannot drink the tap water and you have a coffee machine in your room.
4.0 / 5.0
I like the proximity to the beach, not too far from the city central and Tulum beach
the property is a little bit old and could need some upgrade, it’s a little bit too much for the price but with an upgrade to the room I would pay more for it

O'Tulum is the place to go for an intimate and relaxing escape from the busy downtown of Tulum. The location is located off a dirt road with a few other hotels and restaurants. The road is very walk-able/bike-able and the hotel provides free bikes. We didn't explore this option though, as we were really content with the service O'Tulum provided.
The restaurant is really good, and they even had live music on Fridays and Saturdays. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond. They are all full of information about the community, and made planning explorations incredibly accessible and stress free. There's nothing better than a local recommendation.
They had also just opened up their own private cenote, which is free to visit and about a 20 minute drive from the hotel. At the site of the cenote there are also opportunities to ATV or participate in a Temezcal, a really magical Tulum experience.
At night, by taxi, we heard it can be quite expensive to get to and from central Tulum (about $60 USD each way) - so something to think about when making dinner reservations in town. The traffic downtown can also be pretty wild on a weekend, so that's something to plan for.
O'Tulum could benefit from purchasing new pillows and improving the water temperatures. Those are my only two suggestions. I had a really hard time sleeping on the firm and large pillows. It felt like my neck was in a 90 degree position all night. There was also little warm water. This was fine for the showers, manageable. But we really wanted to take advantage of the in-room soaking tub. We attempted, but it was simply too cold to enjoy. The private balcony pools were also a main draw to the hotel, but in the shade of the balcony overhang, they were also just too cold to enjoy.
All in all, these weren't deal breakers, but these few things would definitely improve the guest experience.

it is very modern and quiet, few rooms
it has no beach, there are rocks entering the sea and it os forbidden to bathe. you cannot walk along the beach due to the rocks. as it is located very far from anything you will need a car although there is nothing to do.

This is my 2nd time staying at this property and it's so lovely & the food is amazing! They are pet friendly & don't charge a pet fee*** This stay they even provided pet beds & food bowls for our 2 pups, such a nice touch. Rooms are equipped with everything you need. I love the bathroom with the rain shower & the fantastic smelling toiletries, super comfortable king sized bed. There's also a safe, expresso maker, refrigerator, iron & your own private plunge/swimming pool. It's off the beaten path, but who cares about this if the club scene is not your thing. If you need to relax, this is your place. I highly recommend!!!
The beach isn't swimmable unless you swim way out due to the rocks, but the hotel has several pools to cool you off. I walked down the beach & there's pockets you can swim in. Don't let this detour you from staying at this wonderful hotel. You will enjoy it!!

On of our best staying in Mexico, an amazing isolated boutique hotel with amazing!!!!! Stuff and breathe taking view, the perfect place to lay down and rest with an awesome romantic vibe. We were stunned!!!
Take note you have to have a car! But it worth every Pani.
That we didn't go there before... ;)

i like it, nice beach, but stony, like jacuzzi in a room, so romantic, comfortable bed, so nice and friendly staff, food good
very far from Tulum, road to hotels so dodge and very expensive

The concierge was welcoming. Food was good. private pool was nice. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was pleasant. Views are amazing.
The main road was difficult to navigate and Taxi was 500 pesos minimum to come and go. Would have liked for the private pool to be warmer. There was a lack of communication regarding room service and payment. No screens or mosquito nets.
5.0 / 5.0
privacy, attentiveness of staff, view, cleanliness, food
the road to get to the property was very bad, not maintained at all. so many potholes, almost not safe to drive in. a truck will handle it, no problem but a small car like we had, added an extra 15 minutes to arrive at location.

beautiful but remote location, not much around but the views from the hotel were stunning. the facilities including all the swimming pools were great, so cool to have that in your room. the staff were very friendly and helpful. nice breakfast, good wifi, very comfy beds and lovely decor in the room
location is very remote so unless you have a car there’s not much around to do.

Cesar was very helpful and kind. He helped us book a massage on site on the terrace with the rooftop pool. All the people working at the restaurant were great. Jesus was awesome. And the live music Friday night was so fun, too. The man playing set the mood!
Nothing the resort could help… but the seaweed and trash washing ashore was very displeasing. And it did take like 10 minutes for the hot water to heat up in the shower.

Like the friendly staff, the privacy, architecture design, room amenities, and the views.
The road to get there.
