Great location and such a cute house. I stayed here with my family and once tiny dog. The first twe encountered was a

This is a beautiful waterfront lot - the lot is huge. The house is quite nice as well. Access to the beach is very difficult- up a ladder. You cannot take your dogs. Some suggestions- mirrors in the bedrooms would alleviate congestion at the bathroom, the TV wasnt working at all- which was sad during the Olympics, but maybe its just the remote batteries? Also- some fans would be nice as the house gets quite hot in warm weather. Thank you for letting us stay.

Good property for overnight golf trip. Deck and back yard were enjoyable. Went down to the waterfront on the property. Kitchen was functional.

The four of us enjoyed the view and flowering landscape. The beach was beautiful with rocks and shells. house is nicely set up for visiting… many places to gather. Problem with tv connection to internet was frustrating.

I loved the scary ladder to the beach. I went half way down twice to take picures. .

Huge yards, games for kids to play with, firewood and multiple fire stoves.
Driveway is small and narrow. There should be notification that the beach access is not for the feint of heart. A very narrow staircase the would be better called a ladder is used to access the beach. Stickers overgrown along the stairs. In addition, the stairs in the house to the second floor were very narrow and the ceiling was low. I had to walk sideways to fit my feet on the stairs.
I would book again, but wouldn't sleep upstairs.

Wonderful property with a beautiful view. Our kids loved it. Ran into a few neighbors down the beach that were a joy to visit with.

The outdoor room on the deck was wonderful to take in the view and snuggle by the fire.

This is a very charming space for family get-togethers even with limitations that could make the stay more comfortable. (I.e. one bathroom) The wood stove heated the house nicely. The location and access to the beach afforded us wonderful views and strolls by the water. The steep stairs to get to the beach are a little challenging for children and dogs. The large yard and the willingness to accommodate 4 dogs was greatly appreciated. Future renters should bring their own condiments, spices, etc as the kitchen is sparsely equipped.

What a find! The photos did not do it justice. The yard was massive and fenced in, our dogs had an absolute blast chasing each other. The deck with the fireplace was amazing, it felt very private and spacious. We can’t wait to come back!!

They advertise TV and Internet. Both of them did not work. We tried for 2 days to get help which did not prove successful. We did get spotty unsecured internet now and then in one room of house on our phone. I feel like our problems were answered by an AI message board. Bring plenty of books, games and cards. Better leave the children at home cause they would find this home pretty boring.

The place was great. The only thing that really stuck out to me that needs improving was maybe a night light down stairs. It was very dark down stairs. So we left the front light on but then it was too light. But we managed.

We chose this as our anniversary getaway place and we were happy with it. Nice quiet and peaceful. Great view of the sound. Clean and well furnished.

Very quiet, clean well stocked house. Has a water view and a big fenced yard for playing, sitting, enjoying the view. Porch is lovely as well.
It was very hot upstairs, would have been good to have screens on the windows to open and get some air.
Also, fixable but the lock on the door was broken so it was next to impossible to get in. We had to leave the door unlocked when going anywhere. We did call for help, a local number would have been optimal as a long distance dispatcher was not much good to us in the moment.
Overall, we had a lovely weekend away.

Overall we loved our time here. The outdoor deck, fire pit, lawn, interior space was beautiful and comfortable for all of us. Mornings on the deck watching the sunrise with coffee, that's the picture of vacation. However if you want to see the beach - it's a bit treacherous. Overgrown thorny branches cover what's functionally a metal ladder that's 1.5 stories high, but you're walking on it like stairs... sketchy. In high tide there isn't really a beach. Seeing a ton of jellyfish there was cool though, I'll say that.

This house was perfect. There are little things that most have addressed like the house not having kitchen items, but Vacasa has addressed that with providing a few small packs of oil (still bring your own) and some salt/pepper. The desk and yard are my favorite here. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. I did have a local friend stop by and they brought their little dog (20lbs) and it did escape the fence to the neighbors, so I would watch out if you are staying here for the fenced in yard with little dogs. For us, this place was perfect though. The only thing that would have been helpful was a place to put the luggage on in the rooms. Looking forward to coming back :)

The house was very comfortable for our family, and the 2 dogs loved running around the fenced yard. We mostly lived on the large deck enjoying the view, visiting and playing games. Even though we had a few challenges, overall the stay was very nice and would recommend.
Our challenges were:
1. We were texted that rental was available early, and we could have early arrival. So we headed out, arrived early, and initial code did not work. We called Vacasa and after being on hold for 10 minutes received a new code that worked. Original code never did work even though they said it would.
2. No indication there was no freezer. Only the owner’s in the pantry. Usually there is a freezer with the fridge and available for use.
3. Could not figure out how to turn living room ceiling lights on.
4. Prior to trip, I messaged to find out if coffee filters were provided, and if not if coffee maker used basket or cone filters. They replied they did not provide filters and required cone filters. So I took cone filters. Upon arrival, coffee maker required basket filters. Thankfully, someone left some earlier.
Additional information: One clock did not have correct time. Other clock had no batteries. Saw large rat come up through hole on deck and scratched at patio door. Kitchen faucet leaked around nozzle.

This was a great weekend getaway. Our dog loved the huge backyard, and the firepits were great to sit in front of with a book. We ran into the same issue with the door code as previous renters. The Vacasa team was super responsive in getting us the code, I'd just be prepared to spend about 15 minutes dealing with this when you get there. Additionally as other people have pointed out the kitchen supplies are a little limited for example there were no skillets/frying pans.
Would still highly recommend this place just be mindful of the above two items.

The short of it: the large yard and stunning views do not make up for the house shortcomings.
The yard was covered in dog(?) poop and the house reeked of dogs. We couldn't even sit on the couch because it smelled so bad. The blankets were covered in dog fur.
The house was 42 degrees when we arrived. Some of the wall heaters were broken and others were clearly on the fritz (black markings around the knobs). It tooks more than 4 hours to bring the house up to a reasonable temperature with the fireplace.
The kitchen is poorly stocked and organized. Many of the dishes had to be washed as they were dirty and/or oily.
The floorboards are so creaky that they wake up the entire house.
Several light fixtures were missing bulbs or had burnt-out bulbs. Other light fixtures hang so low and are awkwardly placed so that people walk directly into them.
We would not return to this rental.

This place was perfect for us and the dogs. Lovely morning views and fires on the deck in the evening. We are retiring in a few years in this area and this place gave us a taste of things to come.

Perfect place to stay with family
We did thanksgiving on the large deck. It was super cozy. The stairs to the beach were a fun adventure tho most of our party was unwilling to attempt them. They were quite steep and slippery. The dogs loved the fully fenced yard. The house and rooms were great. One minor complaint was that the beds were all very noisy. We think some of the bolts in the bedframes were loose.
I did have a couple issues with the listing. It said I should see wifi info a week ahead of time, but I had to directly contact vascasa to get the wifi info ahead of arrival. But wifi info was on the coffee table when we got in.
Also, vacasa told me there were no dishes or silverware which fortunately, simply is not true.

Charming cabin, great for dogs
Loved the outdoor fireplace, location, wonderful fenced yard and views. Had everything we needed and more. Septic was slightly stinky and may need a pump out? Buy drinking water as the well water isn't too tasty. But a perfect getaway, especially with friends and pooches.

Second stay just as nice as the first
This was my second time staying at this property and again, I just loved it. The sunrises are pure magic. This time we stayed WITH our two kids and they had so much fun playing with the seashells, romping in the backyard, throwing rocks on the beach and getting into all kinds of other fun. We will definitely be back a third time!

Adorable but bed bugs!!
Not sure where my first review disappeared to but bed bugs are serious and this property is still being booked. We had the half dried laundry, not-quite-clean dishes, which I'll let slide in vacation rentals, but my last 2 mornings I woke up with bed bug bites, sleeping in the downstairs bedroom. Upstairs guests had no problems. First time I've ever had bed bugs in any rental or hotel. Vacasa assured me someone would reach out to me about our stay, it's been nearly a week and nothing from the local management group. Maybe my first review went to their site, so I'll be curious if VRBO will allow a 2 star review up on their site. Cute place, I'd loved to have given it a 5 star rating.

Sweet and cozy spot
This charming home was the perfect place for a girls getaway for three nights. Even though it rained nearly the whole time, we had cozy fires inside and out on the covered porch! The house is older but newly decorated and comfortable. Not over the top luxury, but the perfect amount of quaint charm and comfort. We found nearly everything we needed there, but had read reviews and came prepared with our own spices and some essential cooking pieces. Definitely helped to shop for groceries on the way. We even brought an extra propane tank but when we arrived there were three! Perhaps others had left some behind. If you are expecting perfection, this may not be your place. But if you like the charm of an older home that’s been decorated with more modern aesthetics, and love a covered porch and water view…this is the spot! And the price matched :)

Expect a cabin
We thought this was a home that we were renting but turned out to be a one bathroom cabin. We had wood heat and a propane heater that we could not use due to the fact that the propane tanks were empty and they couldn’t get anyone to bring us any. The rooms are poorly situated for example they blocked a bedroom window with a view with the headboard of the bed??? This is not luxury so be sure your expectations are aligned.

Very good for four golf buddies.
As advertised. Very good for four golf buddies. Multiple seating areas. Cook is in the conversation. Room for one helper in the kitchen. Love the large pantry where I can see all I brought. Enjoy the view from everywhere. Good parking. The washer/dryer and lots of linens made it easier to have only one bathroom.

Great relaxing time
We loved the open feel to the home & it was so nice to let the dogs explore the huge yard, knowing it was fully fenced. Will definitely stay again.

Northwoods feel
This property reminded me of a Northwoods cabin in MN/WI. Great view of water, surrounded by pines. The wild strawberries were a bonus.

Great Friends Getaway
My friends and I had a great time at this house! It was a rainy PNW weekend and the fireplaces (both inside and on the deck) got a lot of use! I was dissapointed with the cleanliness if the place... there were no dish towels, the fridge was dirty, and there was half dried laundry in the dryer. Even still, we had a great time and it was a great location!

Just what the doctor ordered
Great fenced in yard for dogs and kids. Quiet neighborhood; close to hiking and biking trails. Staircase going down to beach, NOT dog friendly or for older people.
Would we stay again? Totally!!

Nice but a few issues
Cute, updated, cozy cottage. Very clean. Several things that one should be aware of. The "stairs" to the beach should be described as a ladder. Sturdy, but they need to be used as a ladder. We had to carry our small dog , so big dogs would never be able to use this. Zero provisions in the kitchen. There was a salt shaker but no salt. And the tv came on but had no way to access the channels. I tried for 3 days to have someone come out to fix it and it never happened. Besides this, the place was great. Lots of firewood. Also be aware that any dining or shopping is a 20 min drive, other than a wonderful Mexican restaurant and pizza place and a gas station minimart.

My family had a wonderful time. Property was beautiful. We especially liked the outdoor living area with the fireplace! Beautiful view. House is so cute! Nice big yard for the dog to run around in. The stairs to the beach were sketchy, be very careful. All communication was handled through text and we got all the info we needed.Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. We will be back.

Not as descibed
The house was set on a hillside..beach access was through a set of steep stairs that no one should have been on. We could not access the beach as hoped for a our beach getaway! Very disappointed. The house smelled so strongly of must and mold that it was hard to get over. The house was not clean. The furniture not comfortable. The two bedroom were up very steep stairs. Not the beach access..getaway (after a year at home) that I had in mind for my 4 year old son and older mother. Loved the area but the house left us feeling disappointed. We had committed to the two days so we tried to make the most of it.

Wonderful all season rental
We loved our stay, this house is great! The interior is beautiful and comfortable with a great kitchen, the MOST comfortable bed and a comfy open floor plan. But the covered porch was the best! A huge covered porch with a big table, two BBQ's and the coolest outdoor fireplace and seating area with heater. We had such a cozy winter getaway.
The yard is huge and this house really is perfect for all seasons, cozy during the cold and the yard and porch would be great in the summer. The view is pretty as well.
Two things to note: the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking, one of the best kitchens I have experienced in a rental, but no left behind oils, etc so bring all your food items. Also, no aluminum foil, plastic bags etc so bring that too. A store is just up the street by car if you need last minute items. I loved cooking in the beautiful kitchen and drinking out of the cute vintage glassware! The second is the stairs to the beach, TRUST the reviews. It is steep, descending a bluff, and the stairs truly are like a ladder. Not fit for kids, dogs or elderly. When I read the reviews I thought it couldn't be as extreme as they said but it is and I am an active adult. They were pretty tough. You can enjoy this house fully without beach access but take note if you want to enjoy the beach. There is an upper landing if people don't want to go all the way down but the views from the lawn and the house are great.
We will definitely go back to this house and I have already shared with friends, great find!

Wonderful with some downfalls
We loved the home but some problems could be fixed. The home was decorated well and the porch was absolutely amazing with a giant dining table and a great fireplace to enjoy while over looking the water. The yard is massive and if you have dogs it seems to be completely fenced in.
The negatives: the tap water smelled so bad. It was hard to even take a shower. Even the washer have if the smell. Bring bottled water!
