The owner was very accomodating and offered to hold our son while we had breakfast. Very kind and helpful. The location is good if you are getting the ferry to cat ba island
We arrived late and they offered to order some takeaway noodles, very nice and easy for families

The lady working at the hotel didn't speak any English but she was very welcoming and friendly.
It wasn't the easiest to communicate but she tried hard and the breakfast was good and cheap 👌
There's nothing going on around the hotel. Everything looks abandoned or in construction. There was only one restaurant open around the hotel, and they only serve buffets (we really didn't enjoy the food there, avoid that restaurant at all costs).

Very good value for money and room clean. Manager is a lovely lady who will look after you. Beds were bit hard for our liking so didn’t sleep well.

it was good location and room was comfortable
hard to communicate with the staff, bathroom was clogged, room was dirty, bathroom dirty, towels dirty, note that we were the only ones in the hotel, so if you only have one room to attend i would at least expect it to be clean.

Owner was lovely and took me to a supermarket to get some food when the closest one was closed. room very nice and the location looks to be brilliant when everything is open.

The Hotel is just right to the Port where all the boats are ready at all time to take you to visit Ha Long Bay. The Owner even help me to buy tickets and so on. We feel we are at home because the owner is so kind and friendly. That's all we need so we say it was fantastic to stay in DOMO TUAN CHAU.
The area has been filled with lots of empty houses with poor management. Which made the Hotel likes not in a nice area for a luxury holiday.

All staff were great! They helped us with a fax we had to make, bought ferry tickets for us, and even drove us to the ferry port in the morning! It was a very clean and comfortable place to stay.
Nothing to dislike!

We didn't like the fact that the receptionist doesn't speak English. She was nice but for an hotel for foreigners is weird.
Also we try to book a cruise with her anyway and it appears that it wasn't what we spoke about together so we were disappointed.

The lady at reception was friendly. The room was decent size and had a balcony.
Was not that clean and despite being very tired I did not get much sleep because of the constant drilling right next door. It was incredibly loud even with earplugs in. So loud that the wall and bed vibrated. The drilling took place all day and started again the next day well before before 8am. It was impossible to stay in the room as soon as the drilling started. I was just staying here because I had booked a cruise leaving from the port the next day however, there is nothing else to do in this location.
