It was OK. The noise at night created by the party goers did disturb the sleep and night rest.
The property is inside the town of Monsaraz and easily accessible from the various car parkings outside the city walls. It has everything you need and the host even made sure that the air conditioning was running upon arrival and we had a very pleasant inside temperature despite it was the hottest time of the year. And on both days the host made a bottle of water available to us.
There was a party going on on both nights in the castle of Monsaraz. Because the house is close to public toilets and the ATM. Plenty of young party goers would on both nights walk in front of the house, shout, sing, leave goblets every where, urinate against the walls and even knocking on windows and doors making it difficult to sleep or to rest....

Very good
Great location.
Wonderful stay in this beautiful town. We found the mattresses on the beds quite uncomfortable. Changing those would make it superb!

Pleasant
The host promptly answered all questions and Isabel who received us was very helpful.
Strange layout, too dark, not nice for more than a 2 or 3 night stay.

Good
Everything was fine. Location is great. Very quiet pretty street. Friendly greeting from Isabel on arrival. Property was clean. As it was 40 degrees while we were there, the air conditioning was a godsend.
Kitchen needs some additions: potato pealer, bottle opener, coffee maker, more tea towels. Generally needs freshening up a bit. As it's built onto the village wall, there were quite a few damp stains that needed painting over.
