Property is clean and well maintained. Perfect for us as we were in town for the NCAA wrestling championships held over 3 days at the Tmobile arena. We found neighborhood relatively quiet even considering that you are just two doors from a somewhat busy street. Check in and communication very accurate and timely. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a very nice and clean home. The updates were good. Having 2 bathrooms was a plus for 4 people. The location is not far from night life and shopping. That did make it a little noisy at night. Overall it was a good place to stay, and perfect for what we needed for a weekend away.

The house is as described. It is a nice comfortable older home with clean rooms and bathrooms. Very close to the Westport District where you’ll find great food and drinks and entertainment. I will say if you don’t need to go to the basement for laundry, don’t go down there at all. Probably one of the creepiest areas I’ve seen in any home. The neighborhood is loud and full of people roaming around. The house next door on the corner is boarded up and has homeless people hanging around the porch using/selling drugs. Cops showed up to the neighbors house on the other side 5 minutes in to arriving due to a crackhead trying to get in. Not a place I would take the family but good for a few dudes trying to enjoy a weekend in KC.

This was a great place that was right next to lots of restaurants and activity! We enjoyed ourselves and the house was as described! The only thing that guests might want to be aware of was that the street can get a little noisy at night, but I think that comes with being close to the action. The first night we stayed was after a Chief's home game which probably added to the excitement! The house was great for us though!

This house was great, exactly what my elderly mother and I were looking for to stay in. The ease of having 2 bathrooms for 2 people was great. It was hot the weekend we stayed and the fans in the bedrooms were utilized so we stayed cool. The only downside was the neighborhood was loud at night - we could hear people yelling and lots of cars revving. In an older house, the sound seemed amplified. It also felt right on the edge of "is this area safe?" since the walgreens across the street had an armed guard outside. But the house itself was wonderful!! Would stay again but bring ear plugs to sleep.

Jason is an amazing host. House has been updated nicely. The location of home made it easy to travel around the Westport area of Kansas City easily. Would stay there again. Thank you.

My mom and I stayed here during our time in the city. The modern changes to the house are terrific aside from the stairs. Not much you can do about that, but if you are traveling with someone with mobility issues, the upstairs and basement will be inaccessible. That said, the little kitchen was perfect for us and the AC was a blessed relief. Being from Alaska, it's often difficult traveling in the summer as all I can think about is the heat and humidity. We used the backyard just once because, like I said, I melt easy, but I did enjoy the front porch. The only negatives I can think of are the ambient noise. The home is off a main street and I don't think there was a night where we didn't hear sirens. The off-the-street parking was a bonus we really appreciated but there was parking on the street most days too. Clean, tidy, and cozy, I'd stay again. I hope you do, too.

This house was very clean! I'm pretty picky when we stay overnight somewhere and this house did not disappoint! I didn't find one hair in the showers or beds! I love that!! This 2 bedroom, 2 bath home is so nice, it makes up for its location for sure! It is next to a busy road but it calms down during the night. The traffic & sirens did not keep us up late or wake us up early. It is a busy area & people are constantly walking around but that also calms down during the night. We felt safe in the house. The backyard was nice & it was a bit more private & quite back there! The front porch was decent. We sat there & watched people & traffic for a while. There is an apartment building next door but there wasn't a lot of foot traffic or noise! We stayed for 3 nights & had no issues! The living room couch could be upgraded. The bedding & mattress was very comfy! The curtains kept the rooms dark like we like! We were able to control the thermostat, which was nice! The owner was great & did not bother us at all! The check in & check out process was all so smooth & easy, we didn't even need to communicate much at all! But when we did, he was very pleasant! I would definitely recommend this house for your next stay away from home! We were so comfortable while we were there! We'll be back for another stay in the future!!

House was nice and clean, property owner was great-Neighborhood was super loud. The abandoned house next door had homeless people sleeping and fighting in the backyard and there was gun shots at 3:45am just across the street, police showed up but the cars sped away.nobody bothered us, but there were needles and drug paraphernalia around. House had a lot of character but didn’t feel like we could enjoy the backyard with transient people next door.

Good location for museums, brewery, and there is ample off street parking. Comfortable beds and soft towels.
House is located in a central busy location. If you are not used to traffic noise, bring earplugs.
Jason was sooo helpful in mailing my back pack that was left at the property. Thank you, Jason!!

I would recommend this home. We appreciated the off street parking, the location is less than 30 minutes to anywhere we wanted to go and the home is clean and the beds are comfortable.

This was our first trip to KC and we had come out to visit a friend who suggested we stay in the city. This location was perfect. It wasn’t a far drive to wherever we wanted to visit. We did hear a lot of sirens at night, but since we live in the country I figured we probably would. There were fans to drown out some of that city noise if you aren’t accustomed to that. The home had everything we needed in it. We found that the upstairs tv didn’t work but there was a working one in the living room. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this property.

This place was very clean and spacious. It’s within a few minutes of downtown and lots of hot spots in KCMO. We loved our stay and definitely recommend!

We enjoyed the house very much. We didn’t like the neighborhood. It was too loud and too busy. Sirens were going off all the time. If you are used to that, the house is perfect for you.

Weekend Wedding
The location of Jason's property worked great for our weekend family wedding. Rehearsal dinner in Westport and reception at the Madrid Theater allowed us to walk where we needed to go. The house was very clean and just as advertised. We would definitely look to rent here again when we are back in the area.

Very nice home
This home was very cute and clean and there was plenty of space. Check in was easy. The home had all we needed. The only issue we had was the noise at night from traffic and sirens. The location was not the best for our needs but it was just a short Uber ride to wherever we wanted to go.

Perfect Homebase for visiting our K.C. Family
Cute, charming little house in busy Westport neighborhood was ideal home base for us. As a family of four with one young adult son and one teen daughter, we really appreciated the amount of room this little house possessed. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out. Also, the location was ideal as we visited family members that lived in various places around the city and this location was very central. Also, we had family events on the Plaza which was very close. In addition, My husband and I enjoyed our walks to the Nelson Art Museum and around Westport as well. While the neighborhood is loud, we knew what to expect and wore ear plugs at night. Overall, perfect place for our family to enjoy Thanksgiving break.

We had a great stay here. The house had everything we needed and it was very clean. The beds were super comfortable. Jason was quick to communicate with us and was walking distance to a bunch of cute restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice older house
Nice older home that worked well for a quick weekend away. Great back yard with privacy fencing. A quick call to property owner with question was taken care of immediately. Very convenient and easy drive from attractions at Union Station and KC City Market and steamboat exhibit."
Not quite sure how I feel about the neighborhood.. Very noisy from near by road noise and lots of sirens.

Our visit to KC
The pics of the site don't give an accurate view of the property but it was nice enough. We weren't there very much so it suited us just fine. No complaints!

Great spot for exploring KC!
This is a really great place to jump start your exploration of Kansas City. Incredibly easy to get around town from. Several folks have noted that it is a bit loud as you are literally one house from a pretty big city street. This is true, but you are in a completely urban setting, so if you don’t like being “downtown”, don’t chose it. But for those of you out there that love being in the mix like we do, it’s the perfect choice! And P.S., the noise didn’t bother us one bit. Plus, our host was great! There was milk, cereal, coffee, half n’ half, what more could you ask for?!

Great place to stay in KC
Nice house, conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. It was rainy and cool and this was an old friends meet up so we hung in the house a good bit and cooked - the house had everything we needed and was comfortable. Had one issue with the front door lock and Jason was right on it.

Cute little house with character
Our check in process was very easy and seamless. The house was very clean and neat. The only downfall which is at no fault of the owner is the neighborhood can get pretty loud at night with the cars and sirens very late as you’re going to sleep. Overall, it was a cute house and enjoyed our stay!

House is amazing on the inside! Very clean, quaint, comfortable and relaxing. Back porch/patio was clean and well kept. Neiborhood is a bit noisy with the traffic of the main road. All in all My 2 daughters and I had a great time!
