This elegant two-bedroom, two-bathroom condominium is quite simply a home away from home. The master bedroom boasts a luxurious king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom featuring an enormous walk-in shower and double vanity. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and personal television, and is just steps away from the second full bathroom. The full kitchen gleams with new counter tops, hardwood cabinets and stainless-steel appliances and looks out through the cozy living area festooned in warm earth tones, to the private balcony on which you can enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail as you gaze out to the ocean!
This condo has an open view from the balcony of the lawn and pool area in the center of the resort. All of our condos have elevator access. Covered parking under the buildings is optional. This condo also offers washer and dryer, full kitchen with all full size appliances, linens, private WiFi connection, and cable.

Our recently constructed pools feature a spacious heated pool for year-round enjoyment, alongside an expansive family-friendly sloping entry pool. Ample space, clean! Loved the table with moveable cushioned square seats and the neat little tic tac toe game with starfish and sand dollars. Loved that I could see the ocean and pool view. Loved to feel the sun on my face while sitting out on the balcony. The property manager was amazing. She showed us another unit for our future trip back. Love BeachSide Colony. Have been coming here for years! Stayed back in the late 90's when it was just an L shaped motel. The grounds and courtyard are beautiful and very well maintained. Beautiful to see at night too when it's all lit up. A must place to stay when visiting Tybee.

Rental experience was average. Make sure you follow up after booking to receive instruction email. The resort was very nice, well maintained grounds. Once oriented easy walk to beach. Our only issue was they were doing work on cement walk on our floor very loud, one evening from about 8pm until after 9pm, could not hear anything and next night again but not as lone. Called both times and told there was delay during day it really at night. What about those with children? That was only negative. Would stay again.

Perfect location! Great customer service. Very clean unit. A few suggestions: provide more toilet paper and garbage bags. Would also like to see a “share” location for things unable to take home. For instance we paid $25 for a boogie board and just had to trash it - would be nice to have a community share location.

We loved stay at Beachside Colony. The property was beautiful, pool was awesome, beach access easy, and restaurant delicious. Condo was a bit smaller than we thought but we made it work. Our only complaint is the cleanliness of the condo. Certain areas could have used a bit more cleaning in between guests.

We have stayed a number of times at BC and always enjoy it. Only place we do stay on Tybee anymore. The grounds and pools are well maintained. The staff is wonderful and Stacey is a gem. Her concern to take care of any issue you may have is dealt with immediately.We like quiet beaches and locations. It’s not Myrtle Beach which we really appreciate. We never left the condo except for groceries or grab supper. Great patio pool area, nice beach, comfortable condo. We can’t ask for more.

Wasn't too good for us. The office staff were nice and professional, but it was too far away from the rooms and the carts were too far away and the trash bins were too far away. Restaurant was marginal and was out of Grouper. They are on the oceah. TV did not work the day we checked in. Furniture of the rental is outdated. It was clean though. Out view was out of the way and the picture of the rental is all you get, no sunshine. The NEW heated pool was not heated.

I have visited Tybee Island about 9 times sine 2009. Beachside Colony is by far the best place to stay on the island. Ocean front, on site restaurant, and two beautiful brand new pools! It is also located in the middle of the island so you are within walking distance to everything. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, too!

The very best rental experience we have EVER had!!! This place had everything and the location was perfect!! It was spotless and VERY safe!! They had a pool, an onsite restaurant that was fabulous, a beach view from our condo and parking was great!! We were even able to bring our fur baby and they had a dog park!!! The event included being attacked by locals with water guns even after being asked to stop. More warning is needed by the management for guests who arrive and have no idea an event is taking place.

An affordable three day refresh at the Ocean. Beachside Rentals is so accommodating. This visit was booked only a day before we arrived. Great view and condo, accommodated my husbands limited walking and great food at the on premise restaurant.

In order to stay 5 nights, we had to change units after the second night. I politely asked that if possible, our second unit to be cleaned ASAP. The office told us that units are cleaned “in order”, whatever that means. Very unfortunately, it was AFTER 5 PM before we could check in. We “wasted” an entire day of our vacation when we could have been on the beach. In addition, housekeeping told us that had they known, they would have cleaned our unit first. While we were waiting for this unit to be cleaned, my husband walked by it to see what was going on and overheard comments from housekeeping about how dirty the unit had been left. He told them his immune system is weakened due to cancer. Those wonderful people had that unit **** n span for us, much cleaner than the unit we left, (in fact, the unit we left, i had to wear shoes all the time b/c the floors were that dirty). I love Tybee, and i love Beachside location. It’s hard for me to believe that it was NECESSARY to wait until after 5 to check in to the second unit. Somebody COULD have done something IF they had cared enough to do so,

Beachside Colony is a great place to stay! I recommend it to everyone!! Condo was awesome. Pools are great. The Deck, great food and drinks and even greater Employees!! I can't wait to come back in August!! We got in early and we were able to use the pools and go out to the beach, and our condo was available earlier than it was supposed to be. VERY FRIENDLY STAFF!!!

Reviewer Comments:
The condo was dirty and smelled terrible. The key pad entry was broken and no one ever came to fix it. One key with 4 adults for the week was unacceptable. Additionally, the pocket door between guest bedroom and bath was off hinges and no one came to fix it. The view was nice but there was an old iron love seat that was covered in rust and looked like it should have been junked on the balcony. Afraid to sit on it. While management has no control over guest behavior, it was a bit concerning with the language used by a guest and ensuing heated discussion when someone asked them not to use that type of language in front of children, then realizing a guest in that same party had an automatic strapped to her leg. Just not a good vibe and would never recommend to anyone.
