A great location from which to explore the delights of Orkney.
The location in Kirkwall was quiet and had easy access to the centre of Kirkwall. The private parking was easy to use and convenient. There was an efficient heating system and the kitchen was well enough stocked for us to be able to cook our own meals if we wanted to. Louise, the owner had left us some milk and food, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated.
Nothing. Personally I would have slept better with softer pillows, but that's a purely personal thing. Not everyone in our group felt the same!

It was a wonderful stay overall!
Location was excellent close to downtown Kirkwall but on the outskirts of town, quiet, with safe parking, and easy access to the many amazing sights of Orkney. The house was very well appointed throughout with everything that one could possibly need.
There was absolutely nothing to complain about, thank you!

Very happy!
The cottage had been very thoughtfully kitted out for visitors and had everything we needed. It was immaculate and very comfortable
It was a bit of a walk into the centre of Kirkwall for a visitor without a car

Comfortable abode to access town centre or tourist drives.
Location was on the outskirts of the town. But it was an easy walk to the town centre, and it was very easy to drive to destinations without entering centre. Well laid out and comfortable house. Off street parking. Internet was very good. Finally, communication with Louise was excellent.
Beds are small for 2 people. Luckily there are 2 bedrooms. Bath towels could be larger.

I would happily stay at 24 Scapa Road again!
Clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Good location on the edge of Kirkwall giving easy access to other parts of the island but just a short ten minute walk into Kirkwall itself. Two minute drive to supermarkets!
