Great location, enjoyed the stay!

Both of my daughters live in Arizona and I live in San Diego. We were looking for a place big enough to hold us all. The pool was the most important part and this property did not fail. The pool was an amazing place to spend our days.

this property was excellent for our week long trip to Scottsdale. Rhett was exceptionally helpful whenever we had questions or needed recommendations. I would gladly stay at this property again.

Nice property. Pool is a little rough and not heated. I should have read closer, but check in was good and easy. The AC was making a noise that was awful in the master bedroom, but hopefully that's fixed as i let the owner know.

The home looks beautiful and so clean in the listing but once you get there it’s a whole different story. Let’s start with the most important thing one rents home with a pool, it was disgusting and murky water (the owner says it’s suppose to be like that because monsoon season but that’s a cheap lie because we literally left to another house and there’s was clearer then a glass of water.) The other issue was the cleanliness of the home, it smelt like an old home nothing refreshing about it what so ever. Walls are suppose to be white but you can see the nasty dirty hands and dirt of walls. Next thing was the beds, the room with double queens make some much noise if you so much just flex a muscle. The room with the bunk beds are dangerous because the ceiling fan is going off inches where your climb to the top. You cannot move around because of the fan (and you can’t even turn off because the string is no longer there) All the beds feel like you’re sleeping on the floor. The host doesn’t seem to care about the conditions of the home. Just seems to enjoy pocketing the money and not doing repairs. VRBO is also no help and customer service is terrible and helpless. I will not be using the app anymore and do not recommend this home what so ever unless you enjoy a rude host that hangs up
On you and a dirty home/pool.

Comfortable home, easy access to Old Town and venues.

This house is great! We took a multigenerational vacation and it accommodated all of us. We were close to all kinds of attractions and restaurants. We loved the pool and putting green.
Host was very helpful and responsive!

The home was clearly a quick flip with broken down appliances, peeling paint and poorly installed flooring. Shortly after checking in we found rodent activity. We set mouse traps thinking it was just a mouse. Later that night we saw and heard rats in the home. We left immediately. We asked for a refund as we only got one full day (two nights one of which was sleepless due to the rodent activity). They only refunded us for the remainder of the stay while we also had to find hotel rooms at the last minute. We should have received a full refund.

My husband and I, two year old, and mini Doxie stayed over spring break and had a nice time. Highly recommend this property. We wish we could’ve used the pool but the weather was uncooperative :(
Side note-as someone who has planned and attended several bachelorettes, this would be a great place for an out of town gathering.

Shower knob was broken, pool was very dirty, pool vacuum wasn’t working and neighborhood was pretty sketchy. Couple guys got arrested in neighborhood.

This property is in a very convenient location to pretty much everything. The house was very tidy and clean upon arrival. There were a few things missing but the owner was very responsive and had things delivered via Amazon same day delivery in a few hours. It is an older house that could stand to have new windows and the hall bath tub and sink resurfaced but flooring and paint have been updated recently and the decor is cute. The owner was receptive to my suggestions on things that would be nice to have in the house so all in all a positive experience.

We stayed at this property for a football trip with the boys and it was perfect. Great place to hang out. Amazing pool and backyard where we spent most of our time. Located near a grocery store so super handy to get everything you need for the trip. Great property would recommend it to anyone!

Perfect hideaway close to Chase Field. House was exactly as listed: clean, spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. Owners communicated quickly and happily answered the few questions I had in a quick manner. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice place to stay. Oh yeah, pool!

Property was clean and well kept. The pool is very big. Our kids had a great time! The location was great! It felt like everything we wanted to do/go was a 20 min drive. Our family of 5 truly enjoyed our stay. The only complaint we had was the couch in the living room was not very comfortable.

Nice and comfy
This was a nice little place to stay for our family. Our kids loved the pool. It was a quiet neighborhood and had all the conveniences of home. Close to lots of stuff.

We enjoyed our stay
I would stay here again if it became a little cleaner. Upon arrival, there were Amazon package wrappers behind the bedroom door, fake eyelashes on the floor and dirty carpets. We expected a cleaner place based off the photos.

Would not stay again
Unfortunately, this place lacked the comfort that made our group want to spend time here. I'm not sure why our experience of this place was different than most of the 5* reviews, especially considering we are an easy going group. On arrival, there was a wet towel left on the bathroom rack, used sponge in the sink, hair on one of the beds, and we could tell pets were allowed in the listing due to smell and stuffiness in the air. The fact that the check out directions included a statement telling guests not to bother washing bed top cover unless obviously dirty made sleeping in the bed not comforting. Might be a good idea to choose bedding where all pieces can be washed at the end of each stay. The beds were also uncomfortable and the couch and carpet could use some freshening. Little details like this didn't create a feeling of welcome and comfort that invited us to stay and enjoy the space.
Would highly recommend renting a car if staying here as it is a good 10 minute drive from old town and not close to any regular grocery (Food City nearby is not a fully stocked regular grocery store).

Property Looks Like The Pictures
Our Stay was great!!! We had a total of 8 people sleep comfortably. There was more than enough room for everyone. We came in on a Friday and left Sunday. I would definitely rent this property again. Neighborhood is very quiet but we didn’t receive any complaints. My guests and I were outside enjoying the backyard with music playing. The property is also about 2 miles from a Albertsons grocery store and about 8 miles from Walmart. The only negative thing I would say is the carpet should be changed in the bedrooms.

Great house in accessible location
Had a great experience staying at this house. Communication with host was excellent and the property was clean and filled with everything you’ll need for a fun stay. Couple people mentioned it but FYI, pools in Arizona aren’t heated so although this pool is beautiful, it’s chilly in the winter months (not host’s fault).

We thought the house was wonderful… just know that the pool isn’t heated. The water was ice cold! But we enjoyed our stay.

The place was nice and located in a great neighborhood. The host is very responsive and in a timely manner. It was clean, however there was mold over the bathrooms, some walls were extremely dirty, and the carpet could use a deep clean. Overall my stay was nice.

Spring Break Stay
This place is close to Old Scottsdale and shopping. It was a well decorated place and fairly clean. The pool is NOT heated. The beds were very uncomfortable for adults. Very spacious house.

We booked less than a week out and when we were interviewed by the owner he said our dogs could not go to the bathroom in the backyard, could not be left alone in the home and did not want any hair on the furniture. This did not seem like a pet friendly home as listed. When we asked to cancel even though we booked 5 minutes before, the owner said we could cancel but he would take half of our money. I contacted VRBO, they said it was up to the owner to give us a full refund or not. Which he decided not to. We didn’t want to lose our money so we keep our reservation. Then when we got there the neighborhood did not feel safe, there was an alley next to the house, cars racing by, and large gravel was the front yard. Having to walk my dogs since the owner stated our dogs could not go to the bathroom in the backyard, I had to walk my dogs in the sketchy neighborhood. Then when we saw the inside of the house, the comforters were old (and stained) and the pool was freezing, no heater. Our two excited kids who were looking forward to playing in the pool, and for the first time getting away after my illness, I felt this situation was not a good position to be in and left the house. We immediately called the owner with our concerns. He stated that he would give us partial money back if we canceled with VRBO. VRBO stated they couldn't cancel and they would contact the owner and have him cancel on his end. We even expressed our concern and the VRBO agent and they felt bad about our situation and stated they would strongly consider reimbursement. We then got a denial even though we left the house immediately and did not stay for the three booked days. This owner and this place was a huge disappointment and honestly, we are also disappointed in VRBO for not protecting the clients who book thru this site. For some of us a few days of vacation mean everything. The owner has still not given us a dime back.

The Nest - of privacy
We had to reschedule a Kauai trip due to Coronavirus. We thought Scottsdale Arizona was a great back up and rented this wonderful home. The pool is great, the house is updated and decorated well. It was so quiet there we could not believe we were in a housing development. The owner was responsive and helpful. We would rent again!

Family trip to AZ
Took the kids for a mid winter break in search of some sun but unfortunately it rained 2 out of 3 days. The pool area is great, putting green and outdoor games were nice when we were able to go outside. The beds were quite hard and uncomfortable which is a deal breaker for me. We were not within walking distance to anywhere but Lyft was readily available. The property manager was very responsive and easy to work with when contacted.

Perfect for a quick winter golf trip
This place was perfect for a quick winter golf getaway. It is centrally located to lots of great golf courses as well as plenty of nearby dining and entertainment options. The house has all the essentials so our group of 4 guys had everything that we needed. I'm sure you could easily fit 8 grown men in this place and everyone would be comfortable.

Fun and Convenience
Great location for Scottsdale and Tempe. Short distance to the ASU campus (5 minutes) and PHX Airport (10 minutes).
Clean house with 3 bedrooms and 7 beds - king, queen, queen, and two bunk beds. Large open great room connected to kitchen and dining area. Backyard with pool and putting green are highlights.

Spring Break
This rental was comfortable for our family of six as we sought needed sun and warmth for spring break. Rhet was quick to reply when we had questions. Though the pool is not heated and was still a bit cool, we enjoyed the time we spent out by the pool to soak up the sun and play in the water. My kids especially enjoyed that the pool has a deep end for diving. The neighborhood was quiet, but shopping and restaurants were nearby. The location was fairly central for our day trips and worked well for us.

“The Nest” is a gem! Everything you need for a wonderful stay!
We enjoyed our stay! The Nest is comfortable, spacious & clean! Great decor! Perfect for family gathering or multiple couple get away (we had both!). Quiet neighborhood, no traffic noise when relaxing by the pool or playing in the backyard. Great location! Close to everything! Wonderful hiking, restaurants, gardens & more. Rhett was very attentive, even checking in with us during our stay to ensure we had what we needed. He answered all questions very promptly. I highly recommend The Nest. We will stay here when we return for another visit! Looking forward to some longer stays!
