The house and property were great! The only drawback is the busy the very busy parking lot across the street that noisy groups of people would hang out at until late at night.
The pros definitely outweigh the con.

We had a great experience at this property. The property was clean and very comfortable. We had a great time!
The only thing I would say, if I absolutely had to is stocking up on shower gels. The bottles were tiny and not enough for the 4 day stay. Having said that, would absolutely go back again stay here again! We enjoyed the common pool area which is so beautiful!

We had an amazing stay at Villas by the Cove. We were two couples plus one. The property and plantation house are spectacular. The place is just across the street from the cove where all the Kehei surfing is at. 5 min walk down the street to Charley Young beach for great walks, swimming and sunsets. Had multiple turtles swim by us. A short 5 min walk the other way to restaurants, bars, happy hours! The plantation house is well equipped and very comfortable. We sat out in the mornings with a coffee and watched the birds in the tropical gardens around the house. The communal pool is so beautiful and we spent many hours hanging out here. Can’t wait to return! Mahalo!

We spent a long weekend at the Plantation House, it was three couples. We very much enjoyed the property, it had everything we needed and we especially loved the porches with comfy rocking chairs - a great place to have coffee or read. The property itself was beautifully done and comfortable. It was also nice having access to the beautiful pool on property and it was walkable to the beach. It was a great place for a long weekend.

The entire property is very well maintained and has beautiful flowers and vegetation. The houses and villas are very close together so not as much privacy as we had hoped for but all and all, very nice place to stay.

We had an amazing time staying here. It was so comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our ten day stay. We loved using the pool and enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable patio area. My friends and I wanted to enjoy Maui for a few days.- to hang out in a space that felt safe and within walking distance to the beach, sunsets and good food. Having 3 rooms and 3.5 bathrooms was so helpful. The rental property owner was very kind and helped me when I lost something in the room after leaving. My friends and I are looking forward to staying again in the future.

We had the best time. Absolutely blown away by the property & how beautiful it was. The house was stunning and had all essentials. Would go back in a heartbeat!! The house also felt safe with a gate that you only have access to the code.

The home is spacious and has everything you could need. The house is well protected within a gated compound and a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Great pool and grounds. Yoga offered 3 times a week onsite. Highly recommend!

Writing this from the lana’i of the plantation house as the breezes passes through. Six of us stayed here and we all loved it. The location is amazing for beaches, shops, restaurants which are all within walking distance.
The property is extremely well maintained with a great pool area. The communication between us and management was quick and efficient from the moment we booked to throughout our entire stay (10 nights).
Highly recommend this place … would definitely stay here again !!!

A Perfect Hawaii Home
The property is lovely and well maintained. The Plantation house is very comfortable. Our family truly enjoyed our stay here. We loved the 3 different porches: front veranda for morning coffee, the dining patio for meals al freso, and the small back porch for quiet time. The house had everything we needed, from beach towels and boogie boards to a big cooking pot for making pasta. The pool area and lanai was also a nice spot to hang out. The only negative was that we had to leave!

The Plantation House did not disappoint!
The house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The property manager, Shahaf was wonderful host and making sure we had everything we needed! He gave a tour of the property & showed us a secret beach access. The beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards provided were very much appreciated & got a lot of use. I would recommend this property, and look forward to returning to check out 1 of the smaller villas too!

This place is amazing! Great location, can walk to food trucks, coffee, shaved ice and beach is right across the street. Beautiful property that also offered hot yoga M/W/F am at 7am which was awesome! They also had beach chairs, 2 boogie boards and coolers for the house plus the propert had stand up paddle boards and surf boards you could use at the beach across the street! My boys surfed every morning! Loved it!

Incredible Stay in Kihei
Honestly, just a great stay from beginning to end. Everything was just easy and super convenient. The pool being inches from the house was so wonderful, along with the beach. Sahaf was super quick and available w/communication. I would return in a heartbeat! Excellent location as well:). We all truly loved it!

Excellent Stay
This was my first time renting a VRBO. Gal and Shahaf were amazing hosts. The process was really straightforward. Checkin was very easy. A concierge contacted us before our stay to help arrange any activities we wanted. The property and house was beautiful. The house sits in a gated community with a number of other properties. The security gate gives an extra sense of security for your car and possessions, but the neighborhood was quiet, beautiful and no safety concerns at all. There is a beautiful pool and sitting area, which is shared with other villas in the complex. The house is gorgeous with all modern features. Very clean. Three bedrooms each with their own bathroom with shower. The kitchen is a beautiful and large open space. All the appliances are top of the line and modern. Any small appliance, cutlery, kitchen tools you needed are included. The property is centrally located in Kihei close to all the best beaches, restaurants and shopping. There isn’t direct beach access, but the beach is literally right across the street, less than 100 metres away. Overall, this was an amazing property and excellent first VRBO experience. I would highly recommend this property.

Great house and location
We had 6 adults (3 couples) and one 5yr old staying at this house. The rental property provided a blow-up mattress for our kiddo = perfect room accommodations for our family. The outdoor space was wonderful - three patio options for enjoying the time outside AND fenced in property so our little guy could play out in the grassy area with other kids staying at the neighboring villas. Great beach gear to take down to Charlie Young Beach. All in all a great location if you want to be in Kihei, more central to Maui than Lahaina!

Good location and amenities
This place is very close to a very nice swimming beach, a very nice snorkeling area with tons of sea turtles, and a great place to paddleboard and learn to surf. They provide amenities to assist in all of these activities, although you will be sharing with the other properties.
A Kona low storm hit Maui during our stay, and our neighborhood lost power. The owner and his brother came by in the morning to give us information about the outage and some ice to keep our refrigerated food cold. This was a nice gesture.

We were not aware at time of booking that this was a campus or mini resort of vacation properties. However, that configuration suited us well. The location is simply amazing. The compound itself has two vehicle and pedestrian gates for guests which provide an enhanced feeling of security. There is a guest only pool which was just the right size for cooling off. Also, there is sufficient hardscape to simply relax by the pool and hangout if desired.There are other shared resources like laundry and recreation equipment. The beach chairs and SUP boards were in good condition and we made use of them frequently.Directly across the street is what feels like a private beach. Hidden away from the public view. It's nestled between two public beaches, but feels private. In this case, across the street means 12 steps across an access road. Also, the beach has plenty of sand, & a reef nearby which supports tons of wild life (great for snorkeling). CAUTION: if you wake up early and go to this beach you may not have space for your beach chair. The sea turtles are everywhere!Adding to the natural beauty. immediately outside the "resort" the town is within easy walking distance. Restaurants, shops, grocery store all there. Leaving the property was a difficult decision each day as there was so much just outside your doorstep.The Plantation house itself was wonderfully decorated and expertly laid out. The kitchen and living areas were hyper functional. Everything you would expect from a luxury property is here. Each bedroom had an on-suite bathroom and a half bath available off the living space. Just plain smart. The grounds are immaculately maintained. We will not hesitate to return here. In nearly 20 years of staying at VRBO properties, this is among my favorites.

Fun in Kihei
We stayed with teens and enjoyed all the nearby activities in the park (volleyball, basketball, tennis, surfing) rented bikes and found that to be the easiest transportation. Loved the house, pool, pavilion and all the beach supplies provided. Super responsive property manager too. We couldn’t be more pleased.

Wonderful property and location
Wonderful experience. The property is lovely and just as advertised. Plenty of room for our family. The extras are really nice - surf and paddle boards, chairs, beach towels and umbrella and boogie boards. The location is great. We will hopefully return!
