I enjoyed the privacy and the decorations and the quilt blankets. Love the location and the price! Love the room key system. Love the nice staff. Love the themed room. Love the sink area and the style of the kitchen.
The sink plumbing was leaking and making a puddle on the bathroom floor (Captains Room). Also the air conditioning/ heater was difficult and couldn’t understand how to use.

Small room with balcony. Great location within walking distance to main street with restautrants and shopping. Supermarket is close by.
Breakfast is only cereal, nothing else. Around the corner is a café with breakfast.

It was a bit skimpy.

Quaint, cozy and clean room with lots of personal touches. Exceptional value for the price. Easy communication with concierge. Quiet and conveniently located near restaurants.

Super cute place and friendly inviting staff in a safe neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.

Terrible- nothing — stayed here in past many times never had these conditions before
Everything — motel 6 would be better

European look and feel having an old-fashioned charm and picturesque
Our bedding especially pillows smelled bad. We had to put bath towels over them to sleep. There was no attendant after 6 PM. we could have stayed in a motel6 for more comfortably.

no one there at check in and no way of getting in to the room. had to leave and find another hotel. very bad experience

very cute hotel
the bed was very noisy
4.0
The room with balcony
The "breakfast" left much to be desired. No cream for coffee, only low fat milk. No toast. A bowl of fresh fruit. Cereal may have been available.

An eccentric hotel, with personality that despite some issues, provides a different experience than the bland chains. Our room was spacious, nice sunny deck included. A great central location, but not for everyone.
Some maintenance issues needed attending to, but to be expected in an old home.

The ambience, location , size of room and furnishing were great. Room was very cozy and homey.
Staff were hard to locate.
Was told that linen would be changed every two days when I requested on day 3. Was told they were visiting room that day. Someone did visit; added new towels and soap, but did not change linen or make up bed. Linen was changed next day after another call.
Site specifically mentions a good breakfast - but it was a fairly sparse continental breakfast.
Difficult and a bit risky getting in and out of claw foot tub for a shower. No grab bars. Definitely not recommended for anyone senior or with balance issues.

Got to hotel, no one there. After many calls finally got through to someone who told me to check the mailbox for my key??????
Breakfast was horrible. They have a restaurant, why isn't it open for B'fast?

It was dirty. Stained rugs. The bathroom floor was dirty. How could you give this place a four star. When I plugged in my phone cord in on a plug block crookedly nailed to the wall, it sparked. The coffee was bad and we could not even stay for the free breakfast. We would like a refund. I wasn't even sure the bed was clean. Please don't deceive others by recommending this hotel to anyone.

Location to town and the surrounding neighborhood were wonderful. Within walking distance to grocery store and multiple restaurants. Hotel itself was quite unique and filled with interesting artwork and furnishing details. Comfortable bed and quiet at night. WiFi internet connection was strong and tv reception good. Common areas for relaxing outside of room available although RAIN during my stay precluded use. Restaurant not open during my stay but dining area very comfortable for minimal breakfast items in the morning.
Breakfast items consisted of coffee, Orange juice, yogurt, granola, packaged hot oatmeal and fruit. Nothing exceptional, but adequate to not leave hungry.

Cute room with private patio
Would’ve liked the toilet to be in a separate closed room. Breakfast could’ve included bagels. Honestly small complaints as I really enjoyed this hotel.

Eclectic furnishings
Shared bath dirty. Sink was peeling. Stairs too steep. Staff had no personality.

Price and location
Difficult to get ahold of anyone by phone. No front desk person on site at night.

The room we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous. I would definitely feel inclined to stay in that room again in the future. The rate we paid was fairly reasonable considering it was the middle of the week.
I was told we could not stay an additional night that we had booked because someone on the property had just tested positive for Covid 19. We were refunded the amount paid but it seems like they should have compensated us for the inconvenience it caused within our travel plans.

The location was great, and curb appeal was cute in a residential area.
The room was dark and dingy (Maria’s Pueblo room) and outdated. There were cracks in the walls and drywall missing, old linens/quilt on the bed, and only 2 very, very flat pillows. There should be minimum 4 pillows on a queen size bed. There was hair on the wall in the shower and no tissues in the bathroom. The continental breakfast was grapes, brown bananas, yogurt, and packet oatmeal. I was on a week long road trip and stayed somewhere different each night. Panama hotel was lacking more than all the hotels I stayed in, but the price was the same. I felt it was fair to write a review about the actual state of the property, because the photos on the website are beautiful but it did not reflect that in person.

The location is good and the place has potential but...
The place is very dirty. The carpet is absolutely filthy. Everything is extremely outdated. Paid way too much for what it is. There is tremendous potential for the place, but it will need a lot of work.

Location and staffs
Old room, tearing ceiling (Roger Roy room type) , mosquitoes and flies in. Spider on bed. Room located nearby restroom can hear from others used with shared bathroom. Bed is terrible

The coffee was good. Parking was good. Location was good.
The first question I asked the desk staff was why does no one answer the phone at this hotel. I had been trying for weeks before. His reply was that everyone asks him the same question, and that he is sorry. That a cooperation owns the hotel and they see them very rarely. No one seems to care, you don't even see anyone to ask for fresh towels, no air conditioning. Pretty crazy set up. No attention to on going maintenance. Weeds all over the patio area, dirty windows. It could be so pretty.Looks worn out. Shabby chic it is not, it's shabby. Did I mention no air conditioning?
