Lovely and quiet and bigger than the photos show it. Booked as a last minute and we made the right choice booking this place. Definitely recommend

We were travelling with our 6 month old baby, so were looking for somewhere with enough space, separate bedroom to living area, a bath and a kitchen. This property delivered on all points - and had the added bonus of its own private enclosed garden, off-road parking and a lovely, helpful host. It felt like a home away from home and a helpful book put together by the host containing anything you would need to know about the local area was also available.
The stay was a little on the pricey side, but that might be normal for the area (and might also be my statutory maternity pay stinging!) There was nothing to dislike about the property itself.

The location of Rosehip Cottage is perfect for our requirements very tranquil and is a perfect place to relax ,it is situated at the end of a leafy lane away from the hustle and bustle so is ideal for dog walking and is central for most places of interest .
We have stayed in the cottage 3 times and have more than enjoyed our holiday each time, There is a small private garden for guest use and also a patio area to relax if the weather is good .
.
Miriam is the perfect host vey welcoming ,not at all intrusive but is around should you have any problems.
The cottage is well equipped , clean and comfortable with everything you would need for a stay away from home .
We look forward to our next visit.

Super couple of days. The pictures do not do the cottage justice, much more space than we thought there was going to be. The cottage is fully equipped with all the required amenities. We would definitely recommend👍🏻

We had everything that we needed for our short break. Be honest, you don't need to take anything with you, everything is already there. Just like small cute home away, but quite and cosy, just birds early in the morning. Spotless clean. You can see host touch in everything. Thank you. We had great rest there, just what we needed ❤️

Beautiful cottage, very clean and lovely decor. It has everything you would need. Lovely, comfy bedding and loved the stain glass personal touches. Very welcoming host. Good price and great to allow dogs. We had a really lovely time in a great location.
One thing, which is only a thing for us as a couple, so not even a fault of the cottage, but the bed was too small for us to sleep comfortably due to no room to move. It was a double but just too small for us. We loved everything else!!!

Glorious little place. Host was present with a friendly welcome for us. Full of lovely little touches. All items needed for a comfortable stay are present, full kitchen with everything you need, full size bath, quiet little garden with seating area and space for the car. Little book on arrival of useful information is really helpful for those new to the area. Horses in nearby fields were a treat for us city folk. Stayed with 2 teens and a dog. All were happy.

Location near town but far enough away from noise.
Always felt cold, bath/toilet to clise to front door

Rosehip Cottage is on a country lane so it is very quiet and peaceful but still only a 15mins walk from Somerton. Lovely countryside views and the chirping of birds.
Cottage is a good size for 2 and well stocked out.
There is also a selection of marmalades, jewellery etc made by Miriam and local artists to buy - which I did!
Miriam is a lovely friendly host who is always available if any issues or questions.
Floor tiles were a tad cold on the feet even with socks on - but a pair of slippers soon fixed that!

We loved everything about this cottage, it was actually bigger than I expected we only stayed for two nights but would happily spend a week or two here, it is well equipped and you can see how much love and care has gone into the detail. It was exceptionally clean. It has a lovely garden that our dogs enjoyed. The cottage is in the perfect location for exploring the beautiful countryside of Somerset. We will most definitely be returning.
There is nothing not to like.

The property was well located for local places of interest like Glastonbury, Wells and the East Devon steam railway. There plenty of good pubs around for evening meals. Our dog was very welcome in the cottage and there was a nice little garden outside and walks up the lane for him. The cottage was very well equipped.
The tiled floors were a bit chilly and could have done with a few rugs particularly in the bedroom. The bathroom needed a heated towel rail as the radiator wasn’t really enough.

Lovely comfortable cottage, everything you need to hand, perfect back garden enclosed for our 2 dogs. Off road parking. Central location to Glastonbury, Wells, Weymouth and Weston-super-Mare.

Great peaceful location, next to owners home, who was lovely and friendly without being intrusive at all. More spacious than we thought it would be and spotlessly clean, which is so important in this day and age. Small but lovely secluded garden, fully enclosed with 6ft fence which was perfect for our dog, with small lawn, mature fruit tree and a pretty graveled terrace area...perfect. Inside was tasteful, very relaxing with new kitchen and bathroom areas and spacious living room as well as separate dining area. A perfect base to explore the surrounding areas, wouldn't hesitate to book again.
Weather was lousy, but so pleased with Rosehip Cottage, exceeded our expectations

A fabulous stay at Rosehip Cottage, comfortable, clean, cosy and very tastefully decorated. Had everything we needed and more. Lovely enclosed private garden. Positioned in a picturesque and peaceful area. Lovely dog walks and a 20 minute walk to some great pubs. Highly recommended.

The location was very pretty , the cottage is set in a country lane surrounded by fields .
On arrival we were warmly greeted by our host and once in the property there were biscuits and marmalade and jam which was a nice gesture .
The property has its own secure garden which is ideal if taking dogs .
Miriam provided everything to make our stay comfortable including quality bedding and towels and also lovely smelling toiletries.
The area is pretty central for visiting some National Trust properties and other places of interest .
I wouldn't hesitate to book again, and wished we could have stayed longer .
