If Oxford is pricey go to Northampton its only next door

Really fab place to stay with plenty of extras to make your stay that little bit special. Warm toast with my breakfast at the same time, I have been waiting for this to happen for years.

A picture postcard cottage with fantastic surroundings.

We had to leave early so unable to attend breakfast but our host offered to supply continental breakfast to be left in the evening ready for the morning. Fabulous service

Very enjoyable comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings

The location is just so beautiful, we could have stayed for much longer very happily. Victoria was so helpful, she cooked the most amazing breakfasts using eggs from her free range chickens, delicious! The bed was very comfortable as was the rest of the cottage. The huge garden was great to walk our dog - and we loved Victorias little tasty treats she dropped in!

cutest little cottage with the cutest little dog

everything. The little cottage was beautiful and so cute. the home made breakfast with freshly baked bread was the perfect start to our day and the owner couldn’t do anymore. not forgetting gorgeous ruffus 🐾

Exceptional

Loved that it was a self contained 'cottage/house' everything we needed and more! Beautiful location, very quite, lovely gardens. Also, Victoria was very welcoming and even gave us a lift in the morning to collect our car from the venue!

Superb self contained B&B - a wonderful place to stay

This is a beautiful, self contained accommodation, very well appointed with great facilities. Excellent shower! Victoria couldn’t do enough for us and to top it all, a full English breakfast or salmon & scrambled eggs, and a large cafetière of coffee is delivered each morning. Fully recommended - 5 stars from us :-)

Perfect countryside stay

Beautiful little two storey annexe. Everything was clean & tidy & with everything you could need for a stay, including a fridge/kitchenette stocked with wines & beers for purchase (the nearest shop is a little way away), breakfast cereals, proper coffee & different teas, milk, etc. Victoria & her little dog Rufus were super welcoming & helpful, & I was given a choice of cooked or continental breakfast (the cooked was fantastic!). Perfect location in the middle of nowhere, with a 15/20 minute walk to the local, dog friendly, pub (highly recommend the pizzas on a Friday night) & a big garden for the dog to run around in. I'll definitely be back next time I fancy a peaceful getaway!

Great host, lovely room in in gorgeous setting.

Victoria was a wonderful host. We were attending a wedding nearby and she kindly gave us a lift once we had dropped our things off. Very comfortable room with plenty of amenities. Would highly recommend

Great little find

Excellent location, peaceful with lively views out into the garden and surrounding fields. Really is a gem of a place to stay. Victoria was a fabulous host providing prompt replies to our questions prior to arrival, a lovely warm welcome on arrival and timely checks to make sure everything was okay.

Lovely and peaceful break away!

Victoria was very welcoming and a fantastic host! Delicious flapjack on arrival and provided a fire pit with a seated area for the evening bbq. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Many thanks Victoria.
