Very easy once you found the cottage
Being picky no teapot

great location, cosy apartment, well equip
only 1 bath/toilet, no toilet upstairs with bedrooms, no proper instruction for operation of heater, fireplace, microwave, WiFi etc a simple handbook would be useful.

Loved the location. The cottage was lovely and comfortable. Well decorated and clean throughout. We had a lovely stay and would definitely think about booking again, maybe in the winter so we could make use of the great open fire.
Would have liked somewhere to hang jackets up. Also a welcome booklet or information sheet would be handy. The garden furniture is all broken so could do with being updated. It can still be used so not a major issue. Just a shame as the inside is so lovely and well cared for.

The location is wonderful, it was like having your own house in the highlands.
Very peaceful and comfortable, everything you needed was there.
Nothing

very good for our needs to get to our fishing on the river Spey
nothing really just had an unfortunate experience with lock on entrance door .after contacting owners this was quickly attended to and repaired by locksmiths
4.2
beautiful scenery and good location
no access code for lockbox received, this caused some stress and time to resolve. however once the code was received
entry to the cottage was easy.

many things but - see below
Really irritating that the external lock on the main access door didn’t work. This meant that we either had to climb down about three-feet off a decking and then climb up similar to a further decking to access the other door which had a fully working lock; or go through the garden of the neighbouring cottage to access the door with the fully functional lock. As annoyingly, the host didn’t respond to messages about this. At least one other guest has also commented on the dodgy lock, suggesting it is not a new problem. Potentially dangerous and limits access to only the fully able. Overall, it’s a well kitted out cottage - real shame the owner can’t get the lock sorted.

Location worked for us. The open fire was lovely and the space of the rooms. Kitchen nice and light.
The key didn't fit the door used from the outside with the easiest access. Lots of dead flies in one of the bedrooms and no hoover. Wall lights didn't t work in the bathroom, which made it very dark. Electrics looked pretty dodgy. No where you could access a mirror and and electric socket to do your hair, without kneeling on the floor. No instructions on how anythings worked. e.g. central heating. No way to switch on or off a stair light from upstairs. Outside furniture damaged.

The cottage and its owners excellelled in all aspects, would definately stay there again
Nothing that was not liked

The cottage is really comfortable and cosy. Kitchen has everything you might need - oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine. Wifi is a bonus as phone reception is patchy in the area. Lovely bedrooms with plenty of storage if you are staying for a longer trip.
Only a few minutes drive to Aberlour which has a few restaurants, co-op supermarket, pharmacy etc.

Gorgeous cosy cottage in the heart of Speyside. Loved the decor accentuated by a roaring open fire. Extremely comfortable and we'll position to explore distilleries, bike trails and many long walks.

The cottage is beautiful and very comfortable. Others have commented on the road being noisy but it was absolutely fine. The bath was a big hit with my husband, he has never had a bath that he could completely stretch out in. Plenty of piping hot water and the heating was easy to use. The cottage is beautifully placed for local attractions. We would definitely recommend the cottage and would love to stay again.
The owner was slow to respond to messages. A bread knife would have been handy. Just a little thing, but the table in the kitchen was slightly warped, but still usable. A welcome book with instructions for the oven etc would also be useful.

It was spacious and had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed. Good heating . Nice outdoor seating.
Instructions for heating and logging into wifi

Beautiful property in Speyside. Lovely lounge. Fully equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Excellent bathroom. Great views of the valley. Cows grazing next to the decking. It was an ideal location from where to explore Moray and the coast. The host Kevin was responsive and helpful.
There are two lovely areas of decking however one area is next to a field and there is barbed fencing along it. Both ares of decking have no fence or rail on the sides where there i drop. Therfore I would say it is not safe for young children.
Not suitable to those with mobility issues as there are multiple steps down from the parking space.
The bathroom is downstairs which may not.suit everyone.

Location is the plus for what we wanted.

Everything you could need for a few days away were in the cottage. It was nice and peaceful. Having a basket of logs was a really nice touch as it was pretty cold for the time of year. The outdoor area was not bad.
The oven really needs a good clean. I think the patio area could do with a bit of work. I didn`t know if we were allowed to use the area under cover or if it was for cottage 1. Having said that I would recommend it to a friend. I only wish there was a path to Craigallachie. I walked it but it is a bit felt a bit wary of the lorries thundering past me.
