The staff were fantastic - helpful, friendly and welcoming. I ate in the restaurant and at the bottom of my bill was a link for a day pass to the gym, so that saved me the £5 daily fee. There were 2 options for gluten free dining on the evening menu (I had Get Shredded which was delicious) and the breakfast was ample and well labelled for allergies. The bed was super comfy too and there were lush Espa toiletries in the room. The car park is free from Friday evening over the weekend, so that was a bonus as loads of other hotels charge a daily rate of at leat £5. The gym was brilliant and very well equipped. The pool area was clean and tidy, and the water was pretty warm (I'm used to swimming in a colder pool so couldn't do as much) and there were working GHDs in the changing room for afterwards. A lovely touch!
I'd have liked the room to have been a bit better cleaned - there were gunge marks on the bathroom door which easily wiped off with a wet tissue. The carpet was also in need of a shampoo - so much so I wore my slippers in the room as it felt too dirty to walk about in bare feet.

Our second stay at the hotel, great place, always has a good atmosphere, room was quiet and clean, great facilities. Good location for getting to Aberdeen too, with the park and ride a 5 min walk. Staff always helpful and polite.
Nothing, look forward to coming back.

On arrival we used the screens to check in which were slow. We then were unable to enter the room even after getting a further 2 keys. We returned to reception for a third time and discovered the door mechanism needed charged/new batteries. The person on reception was alone so needed to find a supervisor to assist us. The supervisor was able to grant us entry into the room however her attitude towards us was shocking, she didn’t acknowledge us at all nevermind the inconvenience we had already encountered. She was dismissive and unprofessional in her demeanour.
On booking a quiet room we were allocated a room directly above the gym so were disturbed throughout our stay by weights and music.
The room we stayed in was below average, with a wall clock that didn’t work, a bed on wheels which rolled at the slightest movement and broken a/c making the room unbearably warm. We spoke to reception about the temperature of the room and we were not given an alternative but told someone would look into it…with no solution or follow up.
After a long day we decided to try room service, we ordered a range of starters and mains to share and the food that arrived was hugely disappointing with some items being inedible including the chicken tenders still being slightly pink, with soggy breadcrumb coating. We also used the chat function to request ice which unfortunately only came as 3 cubes in a glass instead of a bucket. The second time we used the chat we were unable to contact staff so tried calling the front desk via landline and were unable to reach anyone.
Overall poor customer experience and management. Even when asked to give feedback on check out the woman on reception then became defensive when we were only listing our experience, trying to give constructive feedback.
Very disappointing, would not recommend staying and my partner and I won’t be returning.

Very pleasant, professional reception and leisure staff. Great service delivered with humour and a smile.
Wi-Fi. Sooo many problems. No connection in rooms in spite of paying for the service. Took me over 2 hours to log on (for work), even the receptionist couldn’t help but she did say it happened often - so maybe not the best place to stay if you need to work.
