posizione ottima, a due passi dalla piazza principale, staff molto gentile
la camera era sporca (pavimenti, lenzuola, asciugamani) e in generale la struttura si presenta poco curata

I didn’t stay at the property because pictures and location don’t match with those announced here, moved to another place without telling me.

The view to the old ruins, mountains and adjacent lovely river
I booked a stay in Posada Inka Wasi especially as it was close to the plaza, however when i arrived via organised taxi from cusco I was dropped off at a totally different hotel ( Humantay Lodge Ollantaytambo) far from the plaza and not the one we booked. We were told it is a different hotel but owned by the same owner and that it is the same booking.
WELL NO IT ISN'T THE SAME!
We booked hotel Wasi as the reviews were quite good however some of the reviews are exactly what we experienced " Far from the plaza, no hot water, etc.." )
Now i know why there are other poor reviews.

Good location with nice view on the mountains, hot water and clean room.
Breakfast was included, but not served. I stayed there for 3 days and Wifi didn't work. Apparently there was a storm, but in other places it worked - the owner didn't bother to fix it.

best accommodation-budget value we stayed in Perù, the owner Sebastian is lovely, very helpful and always smiley and his dog Simon is the cutest dog I have ever seen. the view from the bedroom on the Inca ruins were outstanding, the photos from booking are exactly what you would expect. I will totally stay there again!
no breakfast, but for the price of the place it was to be expected, it’s very close to the main square where there are plenty of food options

The location was super close to the plaza and close to restaurants/shops. Eusebio made our check in very smooth and also gave us a historical background on the hotel. He was super helpful during our stay and gave us great suggestions. If we come back we’d definitely stay here again.

The owner was really kind and helpful. The location is perfect and it's pretty magical to sleep inside Incas walls.

Eusebio was very friendly as well as a young girl that lives there.
It smelled bad. On the outside was not clean and quite
messy. The room was not very clean. Hot water was not available all the time. The bed made noises

I stayed for one night before my Inca trail and it was the perfect stay for that. A comfortable clean room with clean bathroom, quiet location with views of the mountain from the balcony yet very close to everything in Ollantaytambo. I think there are only 3 rooms total and the owner lives on site too, so it felt very cosy and homely. The owner was absolutely lovely and so friendly, taking an interest in my travels and patient with my bad Spanish, showing me different plants in his garden - even though it was 6am while we were waiting for my agency to collect me. I believe he will also collect people from the train station etc if needed. I found the room warm and dark enough to sleep well before my trek. Definitely recommend

Good location off the main square. Good value for money. The view from the room on the upper floor.
The host was not there to greet us and we were not made particularly welcome during our stay. We were let into our room by a small child. Maybe the host was away.
The place was more ramshackle and rustic than we had imagined from the reviews.
The room has a narrow wooden walkway in front, not what you would call a patio. You would not want to be in a room on the ground floor.
The room was not cleaned during our stay.
The family should recognise that as a guest house, it is not acceptable for their children and dogs to disturb guests, particularly early in the morning.

Beautiful original Incan stone building just off the main square. Amazing views from the property.
The owner Eusebio and his family were fantastic and so kind and gentle.
We stayed 1 night either side of our Inca trek and they stored our main luggage.
Big rooms, clean, good hot water and very quiet at night.
Eusebio even gave us a small Llama keyring each at the end of our stay, a really nice gesture.

We had a wonderful time in Ollantaytambo if you have the chance to come to this place you have to stay here.
The staff is lovely. He show us the ruins in Ollantaytambo and they worth it.
Even if we can't speak Spanish, we could talk to each other 😅
Thank you so much!
We made the experience that it is cheaper to took a seperat taxi at the main station.

You can’t beat the hospitality! The manager was absolutely amazing! He took my daughter, a XC runner who needed to train, on a 3.5 mile run. After he took us to a wood carving artist and a ceramicist. I had coffee grown and roasted by a local farmer, it was the best coffee I’ve had. The beds were comfy and the showers were warm. You can’t beat this place! I would absolutely recommend this place.

It was in a good location friendly staff clean and cl comfortable
The room we booked said it had a balcony with mountain views, it did not, they also said they'd have coffee and tea in the room and there wasn't

This place is really quiet. We could sleep very well which happend only twice in 4 months of travel.
Confortable beds, hot shower. Staff is nice.
10-15 minutes by walk to train station
We had some trouble with booking of train back to Machu Picchu because the all system of the company was broken. We were so stressed. Hopefully we manage to have tickets but the manager refuse that we cancel our second night. Also you will never see her/his. They are lucky that we slept very well and don't complain more.
Rooms are clean but outside there are lots of cats and it smells urine

Very central location, quiet room.
Description didn’t match the property. No kitchen or self catering facilities, no lounge, no garden to sit in, no hairdryer etc.

staff didn’t accept visa but on booking website it states it does accept. we had to haggle for a bit and eventually they accepted visa as payment. also the door locks don’t work properly

We loved staying at this Inn in an athenitic home and community. It was dreamy! The host was amazing and accommodating. We loved being so close to the square and action yet it was peaceful. The value is amazing! The beds were comfortable. If you are looking for a clean and authentic lodging, this is for you. Absolutely loved Pisasa Inka Wasi, the host and accommodations. Highly recommend!
We loved the whole authentic experience.

Really lovely clean spacious bedroom, with newly renovated bathroom, hot water, which can be a luxury in Peru, great balcony & interior courtyard, looking out over the ruins, nice breakfast & a fantastic location. If we ever come back to Ollantaytambo, we’d definitely stay there again!
