Great stay but privacy needs to be respected.

The location of the property was excellent. Very close to the cruise port. It was a little difficult to find and the taxi driver had to call the property to be guided in. Many be consider providing a little more clear instructions on how to reach the property

The breakfast was very limited. We were SHOCKED to have the owners just let themselves in the following morning. Luckly we were all dressed but had our lady guests been in a state if semi dressed this could have gone really wrong. When we rent accommodation we do not expect the owners to simply let themselves in. Also they were clearly wanting to turn the property around as quickly as possible. Whilst we were still in the property the beds were being changed. Finally having the owner sit in the lounge area with us on her phone made it very awkward. This is a red flag for us and maybe something we could consider before booking this property again.

Little Gem in Civitavecchia

Before going on a cruise from Civitavecchia, we stayed here for 3 days. A wonderful experience, Gianni is a superb host and the accommodation is perfect with a lovely breakfast included and full kitchen facilities. Scrupulously clean, beautifully presented and decorated right in the middle of the older part of the town, we had easy and convenient access to great restaurants, cafes and bars. Easy walking distance from the train station and the port terminal. Simply the best! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A beautiful apartment, very comfortable with a lovely balcony. We loved the breakfast amenities also and the location on a piazza was wonderful.

An excellent stay wit no problems.

The continental breakfast was excellent with a great choice. The coffee machine in the kitchen was one of the easiest to use and made an excellent cup. Plenty of coffee pods were also available. The steps to the lift were easy to negotiate but the steps from the kitchen to the bedrooms were quite tricky. We took our cases up but the boarding house was so safe we could easily have left them in the large kitchen. The kitchen was also well equipped with microwave and small hob. The hosts were very helpful throughout our stay. If we ever cruise from Civitavecchia again we would certainly hope to stay here. A taxi ride was organised by our host to collect us at Rome Airport and take us to the door of the boarding house. It went very smoothly. It is possible to walk to the port but be careful as it is easy To go the wrong way when you reach the port entrance. We took a taxi from door to ship.

If we were really picky we could say it was a bit noisy outside in the evening but with the double glazed window and blinds it was easy to ignore. An impossible thing to correct would be the squeaky wooden stairs. I really had to struggle to think of things that bothered us.

breakfast included in price our friends were in other bedroom so we had the whole place to ourselves to enjoy communal area in middle of town so food and drink easy to access hosts greeted us on arrival and explained facilities

The location is in a lovely pedestrian square but it means you have to carry your luggage a block as a car cannot drop you at the door.

We’d recommend this to anyone coming to Civitavecchia. The location is great for the beach and restaurants.

We were lucky enough to be the only couple here so it felt like our own apartment for our stay. The views of the square below is incredible. The living space is relaxing and nice space to sit and listen to the world outside. The breakfast selection was fantastic and the hosts are very thoughtful.

This was a lovely property and location. I had a wonderful evening and it all went smoothly

Large room with large ensuite, good air conditioning, great location and close to a lovely piazza. The bar/clothes shop near the entrance was fantastic. They can also provide food from next door. Hosts were welcoming and organised. Good communication

The temperature on the AC is illuminated and bright. It kept me awake as the only way to turn it off was turn off the AC. I missed the entrance as the plants had covered over the address but the host came and found me. There are stairs up to the lift and in the apartment to the room. Property is 10 min walk from train station, with luggage, not 5 mins.

Everything, especially the location.

I think there needs to be better instructions on where the property is. I don’t think I would’ve found it very easily if a friend of the landlords hadn’t happened to ask me where I was going.

Very good

The breakfast was fine with all the basics. The room served our needs for an overnight stay.

Facing the plaza was very noisy with loud conversations until 1am. We had a big issue with the arranged transportation to the port. No one showed up to pick us up so we had to walk after waiting over 1 1/2 hrs. The stairs from the rooms to the breakfast area were very loud. The people staying in the other room got up and went up and down the stairs multiple times in the middle of the night. We were kept awake for several hours.

Proximity to train station, cruise ship shuttle, and restaurants were excellent. Our hosts were delightful.

Perfect for a romantic getaway or in preparation for a cruise.

Owner was present and warmly greeted us. Spoke both English and Italian. Excellent breakfast. Many options available. House was modern, clean and tidy. Very short walk to train staion and cruise terminal. Central location in pedestrian only old town square. Many Local restaurants and cafe's.

Perfect location close to everything. Quaint flat in the city.

It was right in the heart of the city, walking distance to everything. We were going on a cruise and they had a free shuttle 2 blocks from our location . Our window looked out onto the town square. I was just perfect for our needs. The hostess was a doll and welcomed us in which made us feel much more comfortable.

The room was very nice and the breakfast was good and we could use part of the breakfast for our afternoon snacks. We were able to get in a little early which was helpful. The location is perfect and the restaurants nearby were great.

Great stay in Civitavecchia

The property was centrally located overlooking a small square with plenty of restaurants. Ten minute walk from the seafront. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly and even helped sort out our transfer to the cruise terminal. The property has large rooms with comfortable bathrooms and air conditioning. We had a drink and snacks readily available for the children and a great restaurant at the bottom of the building specialising in fresh fish plates. Highly recommend a stay here and will defo be booking again.
