About this house rental
This home is located in the trendy Mud Island area. This 2 story 1,688 Sq ft. home is the ideal spot for a group of friends, newly-weds, couples and bachelor/bachelorette groups to come and experience the amazing area.
The first floor welcomes you with a master bed room with a King size bed and private bath, living room, kitchen, office (with queen size pull out sofa) Guest bedroom( Queen Bed) , 2 baths, and a patio with a grill. The second floor is an oversized room with one queen beds and a sofa that makes out to a queen bed. The Entire house sleeps 1-8 guests if needed. --4PM CHECK IN // 10AM CHECK OUT // UNLESS DISCUSSED AND AGREED UPON BEFORE HAND :)

First the home was beautiful. Tastefully decorated as advertised. My girlfriends and I enjoyed our stay after we took care of a few things that were crucial to our experience. Those things were entry into the property: I was not given complete instructions on how to get in the property. It was raining and I ultimately missed my dinner reservation after driving 8 hours to get to Memphis, I was unable to reach the property manager, fortunately, as I was leaving I saw the back of the property. The second item was we had to launder the sheets. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would book again.

The neighborhood was great and close to alot of things. The house could have been a little cleaner and the blinds had been taken off the glass front door and you could see in the house but overall it was fine.

My daughter & I met here to see Wicked & enjoyed the area with Graceland, walking downtown tour, BB King’s barbecue/music, Botanical Gardens. We were given a Warm welcome from everyone! We loved the Island & walking path along the River!! Our visit was a success!! Thank You Memphis!! ❣️

Place has a lot of potential but it needs a deep cleaning, some repairs, attention to details and basic supplies like kleenex, napkins, salt & pepper, dishwashing liquid, kitchen sponge (we had to use a washcloth). Blinds and baseboards were quite dirty. Shower in master bath does not drain properly and has mold. We parked in garage and light doesn't work, which is a little scary in a strange place. Garbage disposal not working. We were pleased with the location and house but disappointed with the overall condition.

The property was very clean and convenient (short drive) to everything downtown and located in a nice neighborhood. Parking would be a bit tight for more than one vehicle but the garage was available for use.

The house was clean, well maintained, beautifully furnished and conveniently located. The host was responsive to our questions, check in was easy. Everyone had their own private space (2 couples and 1 more adult in our party). The kitchen had everything we needed. It was a great stay! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. It was within a 10 to 15 minute drive to everything we planned to do. House was roomy for the 6 of us. We prepared and ate breakfast conveniently and then went on our way. We found the kitchen to be stocked well but did not find measuring spoons or sponges. If we decided to return to Memphis this property would again work great for us.

The house was everything as advertised. When we checked in the house was spotless. All of the beds were very comfortable. We initially planned to stay only 3 days but ended up staying a total of 5. The neighborhood was very safe and our host was very easy to communicate with. We are definitely looking forward to staying at this property on our next visit to Memphis!

My husband is a huge Elvis fan. He had never been to Graceland so for his birthday, I thought I would surprise him with a weekend getaway. After looking at several places, we decided with this little gem. The house was decorated nicely. It was clean and plenty of room. Answers to questions were answered in a quick manner. Real pleasant experience all around! Would highly recommend this rental!

We were very unhappy with the condition of the house and were told by the Property Manager that we could be refunded upon arrival. After driving 13-14 hrs, that wasn't an option because we would have needed to find another place to stay, which may have been impossible. This home needs to be painted, and have updated bathrooms & TVs in the other bedrooms. TVs only in the Master and living areas. When we arrived which was after the check-in time, we immediately noticed that the house hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. There were spider webs around the floor areas, the refrigerator was nasty and hadn't been wiped down, the coffee pot wasn't cleaned, the entire bathroom needed to be cleaned prior to use, and furniture needed to be replaced or cleaned in the two sitting areas. The individual that supposedly cleaned the home did come over but we had to point out what our issues were. If that wasn't noticed during the normal cleaning process, it shouldn't have taken us to let them know what needed to be done. We made the best of our time after doing our own cleaning. If a fee is paid for cleaning, it needs to be refunded. I've stayed at several homes and this one was terrible. Pictures on the website are deceiving. If you would like pictures of the condition of the home, please let me know, and I'll be more than happy to send them. We can't make any of the above up so let us know if the pictures are needed.

A fabulous weekend in Memphis made more enjoyable by the location this property is in. This clean and roomy home is located in an upscale neighborhood with easy access to everywhere in Memphis. We were very pleased with the accommodations. Definitely recommend this property!

We stayed 3 nights. Easy checkin, host responded quickly to any questions I had beforehand. Home was very clean. I was traveling with my sister and her autistic son and we really enjoyed our stay in Memphis and this home. You do have to take a short drive to view the bridge lit up at night but it was worth it to see it lit up, and the Bass Pro pyramid. Maybe a 5 minute drive. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Very nice, quiet neighborhood with a small market, Cordelia’s, just a short drive away.

Nice getaway. Stayed for 3nights. No frills and Nothing fancy but was clean and in a decent neighborhood for the price. Not all windows have curtains or blinds so that was a little weird but overall it was a great place to stay.

Needs regular maintenance
The property needed a list of items that needed to be either replaced or maintained. Home needed regular maintenance re: interior painted, new rugs, extra sheets, new top matresses, wine glasses. Plates, knives, drain hair catcher etc. Owner was very receptive to concerns and an excellent communicator and stated that our punch list would be taken care of.

St. Jude Marathon Weekend
Our whole family rented this house and it was perfect for our group! It was close to everything. Easy to get to and from. Check in and out was a breeze. Plenty of towels and blankets. Neighborhood felt super safe. Hopefully it’s available next year during our stay. 10/10
