Pretty cottages, with beautiful views. Hottub was great. Also the breakfast was good.
Beds were a bit small

The cottage was gorgeous like something out of a fairytale not only was it convenient to everything I was doing I even called an arctic char and their pond and cooked it for dinner. They had everything I want it that basket delivery for breakfast was just amazing a little large for two people. We were able to eat it for two days. The staff was fantastic. Can’t see more about how great this places loved it Dorothy Mccann.

This was an amazing place. The best place we stayed in all of Iceland. Beautiful views across the fjord of the mountains. Close to Husavik. Beautiful trails around the site and into town. Rowing boats. Best of all outdoor hot pots! Cabins were clean and well equipped with lots of clever tricks to make the most of the space. Fabulous!
Nothing it was amazing

We loved our stay at the cottage! Our view was gorgeous and the cottage was homey and had everything we needed. A perfect visit.

Amazing views and bird watching. Cute cozy cottage in a great location

I loved everything about the cottage- the decor, the view, the amenities, the location, the owner’s commitment to the environment, the small touches (having some cooking basics available like salt and pepper, oil, coffee, tea) and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Beautiful cabin, hot tub and loved the no waste where you could share and take food not used at beginning or end of stay.
We never saw anyone working there. Went to the office like three times and never saw anyone to answer questions.

The cottage was adorable and so charming. The property is beautiful and the location is so convenient. We loved walking around the property to see the flowers and the ocean. The owners are excellent hosts. They provided laundry services which was great.

These are delightful well equipped cabins overlooking a beautiful little lake with many birds, just outside of Husavik. The cottage felt like a private cozy holiday home. The hot tub was amazing. 😀😀

The location was the most gorgeous place we stayed in Iceland. The cabin was set in the middle of a beautiful flower field, with trees, a lake, and the tall, snow-covered mountains across the bay. I am planning to come back for more days to relax, take a row boat ride and a walk around the beautiful property. Thank you so much to Benni and Elena for sharing their amazing property with us.
The bathroom was quite small, but to me, the cabin just felt quite cozy. Just a warning for people with limited mobility, it may be a little tricky to navigate the cabin (which is warned about in the information).

The view from our porch was absolutely stunning, and I enjoyed the walking trails around the little lakes, and the horses at the neighboring farm.
I wish the windows had screens to keep the flies out. Also, the natural hot tub was a little too hot for us to be able to take more than a dip (i.e. 104-108 degrees).

You're in the middle of nature! The cottages are small but cozy. Contrary to what some reviews say, checkout was super easy and you just leave your sheets and towels on the terrace and make sure the cottage is how you would like to find it upon arrival, I don't think that's too much to ask at that price. Host Elena was super responsive and friendly. We would absolutely stay again.
The mattresses were a bit soft for our taste and there was no way to open/close the doors silently. The front door was quite hard to shut. But these were just small details. We loved it.

everything ! I will never forget this place !
the cottage is perfectly located facing an amazing lake everything around is so cute the little walk to watch the birds, the hot tub, the dock … I loved every minute of it plus it s the perfect place to get a chance to see the aurora ! inside the cottage got all you need, a really great kitchen, a super confortable bed and a efficient bathroom it’s the most charming place ever !
you can feel the love the owners put on this spot on every details we felt blessed to discover it !

Private cabin with fantastic view! Very close to Husavik and many attractions along the Diamond route.
A bit tiny bathroom, lack of shelves for the clothes.

Great cottages in a great location just outside Husavik. Overlooking a lake and the sea from our deck. Not big but comfortable and very serene. We really enjoyed our time here. Husavik is a 5 min. drive away. Myvatn and Asbyrgi each about 45 min.
Minor point: kitchen knives really need sharpening!

Didn't have breakfast
A light over the sink area would of been nice or a brighter bulb in the current kitchen light fixture.

The cottage was simply amazing, very clean and well equipped. You can park right next to the entrance so it's very easy.
The cottages are surrounded by spectacular nature. Next to the cottages there is a lake (and a boat that can be used) And a number of hot tubs where the water is hot sulfur water
We were 3 people and stayed in a cottage of 4. There was enough space and very cozy and warm.
This was the place we enjoyed the most during our trip to Iceland. We stayed there for 2 nights, which is definitely enough time to enjoy the area and the city of Husavik.
Highly recommend

Pulling up was an absolute delight as you were greeted with the waterfront views and tranquil atmosphere. We were notified of our designated cottage a day before and were able to have contactless check in. The cabin was cozy and lovely. There were a lot of hooks to hang things. I would recommend unpacking, putting your things in the dresser, and stowing luggage elsewhere to open up space in the cabin. The outdoor grill was equipped with some fire-starter and coal if you felt inclined to use it. Húsavík is very close and convenient, but you feel far removed because you are surrounded by nature.
The kitchen area was very small and could have been improved with a couple more cooking essentials. There isn't a lot of space for prep.

The cottages are perfect - 3 mins carride from Husavik. We loved the hottubs and the lake with two boats that we could use for free.

What an idyllic situation. Unbelievably stunning views, lots of wildlife and a cosy little cabin to enjoy it from. Very comfy beds. Limited kitchen facilities but it made us plan our meals to suit and fish and chips in Husavik was excellent. Relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the lake, watching the sun go down was something I will never forget.

Great location surrounded by nature but still close to main village. Loved it !

THe view is fanstatic! with the summer ducks and birds excellent for bird watching. And the outdoor hot tub view is unbeatable. they even provide a binocular.
its excellent for a couple but for a family even with 2 rooms it can get a bit crowded with luggage etc. But we know that before we choose the place, its still a wonderful stay.

The location was gorgeous with amazing views next to a bird sanctuary and views of snow capped mountains across the bay. The hot tubs were great. The cabins were well equipped with what we needed.
The cabins could only fit two, and we had a family of 4. Somehow in the booking process, even though my booking said 2 adults, 2 children, it came across in the host view as 2 separate bookings, so our cottages were separated. Due to having to book 2 cottages, this was the most expensive place we stayed in Iceland although was similar to other cottages, making it less value for the cost.

The staff and the breakfast basket.
Bathroom was tiny but we dealt with it. The staff and breakfast made up for it.
