Here is the description from one of my guests:
Owner communicated well and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Great location on the water where we saw others and sea lions daily along with a variety of birds. Once three orcas swam by. Also a great view of snow capped mountains. We enjoyed the following sites on the peninsula: Hurricane Ridge Cape Flattery Fort Worden and Point Wilson Lighthouse Dungeness Wildlife Refuge Salt Creek low tide tidal pools Lake Crescent with Marymere Falls, Devils Punchbowl and Madison Falls We didn’t make it to HOH Rainforest but it looks beautiful and where you might see Elk Also we discovered too late but it’s only two hours to Whidbey Island by Port Townsend Ferry just make reservations too and from there Island when you first arrive because the ferry fills up fast. Deception Pass is on the island and it is touted as the most scenic site in all of Washington State. The six of us, all adults had a relaxing week and did not want to leave. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Beautiful spot with well-equipped kitchen, amazing wildlife views, and comfortable beds. Perfect for a family retreat.

It’s well situated to watch seals and birds. We read about Protection Island and the established sanctuary. The house was comfortable and well stocked. Janet was very thorough with responses to my questions. I would like Janet to be aware that behind the bed on main floor needs a cover for electrical outlet and the fan needs repair. The upstairs black TV remote new batteries. Otherwise everything was great. Thank you Janet for opening your house to us.

Comfortable, well-maintained and appointed home on the water across from Protection Island. Magical sunsets. Enclosed sunroom is perfect place to relax, watch the marine wildlife, and stare at a star-filled sky before going to bed. Host is wonderful! 5 Stars all around!

Wish we were able to spend more time at your home. We didnt get to spend much time there, because we had a wedding to attend. We were in and out often.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week at diamond point. Put my paddleboard in the water every day. Saw lots of wildlife, including whales, otters, eagles, and many many kingfishers.

Well-stocked, comfortable beds, clean…beautiful home. Beach and that sunroom were perfection!

Great secluded location. Clean house had everything we needed for our stay. My only complaint is that the key box was hard to find. Thankfully a neighbor helped us out. I don’t think we would have found it otherwise.

We had such a great time in this oh so comfortable, beautiful home. The views from all the windows and the sweet little sunroom can’t be beat! The house has everything you could possibly want, and a great location too. We spent two weeks here exploring so many great places; Victoria, Crescent lake, the peninsula, Whidbey Island, Port Townsend and more! The Lavender festival was in Sequim while we were here too. We highly recommend this home and this beautiful corner of the state!

Great rental to unplug, watch the water, & relax. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, & quiet.

The house was perfect. It was clean and comfortable. It seemed like we were on the go all the time, but we were still able to see eagles, otters, and seals from the back porch. One piece of advise would be: if you need to make a shopping run, be prepared to do it all in one trip. It is going to take a while to get into town. We loved our trip and would book again.

Fun trip back up to the Olympic peninsula. My family was an original pioneer in Diamond Point. My great grandmother was the original property owner of the VRBO so it was so much fun going back through the area, seeing changes, and visiting family. The VRBO was exactly what we were looking for.

Beautiful home right on the beach between Sequim and Port Townsend. Perfect for ocean time renewal and/or base stay for day adventures to Olympic towns, beaches, trails. We knew the setting and home would be great but we were still in awe when we arrived. Everything you need is here. Totally clean. Awesome experience for our family.

The sunroom is wonderful in winter ....the little heater keeps it just right and the big couch is comfy. Everything was clean....although the kitchen could use some extra attention. We prefer 100% cotton sheets on all beds.
We will be back!

This was the third time we’ve stayed in November. We start our day with coffee and conversation in the sunroom and end our day with happy hour in the sunroom, watching the wildlife. One couple takes the oceanside bedroom with the bathroom upstairs, which includes a sitting area with tv and deck and the other takes the master bedroom with bathroom downstairs, also oceanside. It’s a perfect set up for us. We usually spend a day heading towards Sequim and another in Port Townsend. When the tide’s out we love walking the beach looking for the perfect rock. We always have a great time!

We could not have asked for a better week! The house was everything and more. Beautiful views from the glass porch, we had campfires each night and the star gazing was amazing from the back yard. This is the most fully stocked rental we have stayed in. We will definately stay again!! We highly encourage the whale warching tour in in Prot Townsend, several nearby waterfalls and Rialto and Second beach were amazing!! We were able to watch seals, orcas, and multiple beautiful birds. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!!

The property was easy to find, had good parking and accessibility and a fantastic location. It's not the place to stay, though, if you're the type of visitor that forgets a lot of things and finds they need to "RUN OUT TO THE STORE", as the property is quite a distance from any retail shopping.
Fantastic views, outstanding access to the waters edge and beach strolling.....also lovely neighbors!
The house is very well stocked and generally comfortable seating and sleeping accommodations, however I feel that the MB king bed is in need of replacement. the kitchen and bathrooms are very well stocked, so assess the stores in the cabinets and fridge before you go out for condiments!
I would return and also highly recommend this unit!

We would absolutely stay here again. All the comforts of home including comfy beds and pillows. Had a family of Orcas visiylt, a baby seal and its mother, and a group of otters. Thank you for a great vacation! 💕

We were able to check in a couple hours early and our grandchildren immediately stepped out onto the rocky beach. What a sight! Protection island and Canadian land in our sights, with lots of wildlife--seagulls, eagles, and even a seal! The house was clean, well stocked with everything one would need--nice linens, comfy beds, areas to sit & relax inside & out. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook and there is a washer/dryer as well.We really enjoyed the sunroom and the deck, to take in the sea air and the coolness that we were so grateful for after our 100 degree plus Kansas summer! Highly recommend this wonderful home & gracious hostess!

We fell in love with this house when we walked through the door. We had a blast using the binoculars to view the seals, porpoise and various other wildlife. Close to lots of great things to do, or if you prefer, enjoy the peace and quite of this neighborhood.

The house was even better than the pictures on the listing. We all enjoyed the stay including our 10 year old twin boys. We used the binoculars daily to check out the seals, otters and dolphins! The house was spotless when we arrived and had plenty of amenities. It was nice to come back to a serene and comfortable house after a long day of hike and drive. Janet was very responsive and helpful in her communication.

We stayed in Janet’s home for six nights in August. The house was clean and well ordered. The beds were comfy. There were plenty of clean linens. We spent a great deal of time in the sunroom. We would definitely stay again.

An excellent vacation. Beautiful property and location

Our first day we were greeted with multiple orca pods, otters, seals, porpoises and a bald eagle. I’m not sure it gets much better than that.
The place is clean, comfy and well-positioned to see many of the areas best sites. The rain forest was particularly captivating for my family. We also enjoyed our rest days at the house, looking out into the water and the island across the way.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

This house is very comfortable and well stocked - towels, dinnerware, kitchen. The views are spectacular! We spent time exploring the area and looked forward to returning each afternoon and enjoying a wonderful atmosphere and great sunsets. Parking is limited but ample for two vehicles. Neighborhood is very quiet and secluded.
