We were over the moon when we arrived at the house. It’s surprising way more spacious than we were expecting and the house was absolutely immaculate. Martin & Sue were fantastic hosts and replied to any questions straight away. We were staying with our dog and the garden was incredibly dog proof which was perfect. Milo loved exploring it! There are lots of places to sit and chill out in the garden, the owners really have thought it out beautifully and there was somewhere sunny to sit all day long. The front balcony was also a lovely place to sit and take in the views of kingsbridge and the estuary. We would definitely come back.

The house is a great design with lots of space. It was immaculately clean and the instructions really easy to follow. The garden is a massive asset which the photos really don’t do it justice.
The location is perfect for exploring Devon.
We would recommend going to Blackpool sands if the weather is good as a great beach.

We (multi generation family of 6) had a brilliant week at 10 Highfield Drive, the house offered us everything we could ask for and the location is just perfect for access on foot to Kingsbridge, and via car to the surrounding area. Couldn’t have been happier with our choice of accommodation.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at No. 10 and it didn’t disappoint.
A beautiful house which is clean, well equipped and spacious for more than the four of us sits on the hill overlooking the estuary.
The garden is even more perfect now with the addition of a pergola to sit under in the evening while enjoying the clear skies.
The location is brilliant with a short walk into town with its many coffee shops and quaint high street and we of course made the most of the weather visiting the local beaches.
Great communication from the outset from our hosts and a lovely gift of wine and beer when we arrived.
We highly recommend the property and I am sure we will be making our third visit there soon.

Nice quiet area, well furnished with tasteful decor. However we were surprised to find there was only one waste bin for the entire house bearing in mind the whole house was over 3 floors Most places have bins in each bedroom & in the bathrooms

An excellent split level house with great views all round. Beautifully furnished with great space. The garden is lovely with a sunny raised decking area and very well maintained. Everything needed for a family holiday in Devon. Only a short walk to town and drive to sandy beaches. A real find.

We had a wonderful family holiday. The location of the house was great ~ an easy walk to the shops and pubs. The house was bright, spacious with everything you could need. The garden was very private and safe for the dogs. Martin and Sue are lovely, kind people to deal with.

The property was spacious and well equipped. Very comfortable beds, lots of seating in lounge and a large dining table. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 teens plus the dog. Well maintained and secure garden for the dog with beautiful views for us. Stunning views from the balcony at the front of the property too.
Lots of gorgeous beaches within a half an hour drive. Kingsbridge is very picturesque and only a 5 minute stroll from the front door. We ate at Creeks End restaurant and can highly recommend their food. The Cod Father was a great little chippy for traditional fish & Chips.
We had 2 weeks exploring the area and we have fallen in love with it. It was a bonus at the end of the day coming back to a place that felt just like home.
Thanks for a lovely stay ❤️

Good location to travel around the South Hams area.

Family break
There were six of us, 4 adults, 2 children and a Jack Russell. There was enough space for us to get away from each other when necessary. The kitchen was well laid out, there was an outside table and chairs, which we were able to use two or three times in the last week of October. We ate out at the Crabshell (walkable) and the Winking Prawn at Salcombe North Beach. Both recommended. Best beaches were Bigbury (don’t necessarily trust your satnav) and Salcombe North (but it was crowded even in October half term, parking difficult). Slapton Sands is enormously long and will give any dog a run.

Crowther Stay
Location is perfect. Property is well maintained with good quality appliances and spacious. Garden is a pleasure to inhabit. Living room provides space to chill with Netflix a bonus for the teenagers. Communication with the owner was really easy and beneficial. A quality property will lots to offer.

Excellent home from home
We have just returned from a fantastic stay at no. 10. Martin and Sue have made the whole process smooth, easy and pleasurable right from initial contact to turning up at the house.
The house itself is lovely. It was clean, airy and very well equipped. The views are amazing and the location is just perfect for a stroll by the river or just sitting having a cuppa in the garden with beautiful views over the rolling countryside. We are very familiar with the area, having visited many times - and again it didn’t disappoint. Kingsbridge is lovely with many independent shops and eateries (loved Fika and the Old Bakery tapas) and is well based for trips to gorgeous beaches including Beesands (try Britannia fish and chips on the beach), South and North (dog friendly) sands and South Milton/Thurlestone. Thanks Martin and Sue .

Great location
This is a lovely, well equipped property with a large garden and patio. The split levels make it perfect for a three generation party like ours although the bathroom for the downstairs bedroom isn't huge. It is up a hill so there's glorious views from the upstairs bedroom but it is only a short walk into Kingsbridge with its many good restaurants. If you are planning to visit the coast be aware that many of the beaches are accessed by single track roads.

Excellent stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in South Devon. The house was perfect, very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were 6 adults and the house was big enough for us to not feel on top of each other.

A lovely stay in Kingsbridge
We had a fantastic stay. The property was presented very well. The layout of the house is perfect for two couples with a bed and bath on ground floor, living space on first floor, and a further two beds and a bathroom on the top floor. It has a great garden, and good parking for two cars. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped and spotlessly clean.

Fantastic
Lovely house just a short walk from Kingsbridge centre, not far from a few bars and restaurants. The house is spacious, very well presented and exceeded our expectations!
We had a great week and would highly recommend this property, we definitely hope to return.

We stayed at the property for more than 3 months while waiting to complete on the purchase of our home. We'd move from the US and had been in temp accommodation already for a couple months. We were really looking for a place to settle until we could move into our new home. We definitely lucked out! The property is great, well equipped and it's a fantastic location and easy to walk to all Kingsbridge amenities. We took many walks along the estuary with the dogs and the kids. But what really set this property apart were the property owners, Martin and Sue. They went way beyond expectations to make sure we were taken care of. They knew we were going to be staying longer and the house was setup more for weekly rentals, so they bought a second, large freezer for our use. This was a huge help, especially during lockdown. We moved in just before the Christmas holidays and Martin had a tree all setup for us, the kids were so thrilled! They were super responsive and extended our rental so many times as we navigated the lengthy process of buying a home during COVID. There were many delays and not a lot of certainty and they always took it in stride, allowing us to extend in 2 week increments.I consider us very lucky to have found such a genuinely beautiful, spacious property owned by such kind and caring people. It really made our stay extra special. Thank you Martin and Sue!

Excellent stay in Kingsbridge
We had a lovely time in Kingsbridge - the house was large and comfortable. The beds were some of the best we have had in rented properties! It was great to be a short walk to some excellent restaurants (be aware it is half way up a hill). It was very clean, owners very communicative especially re COVID arrangements which gave us confidence. Fantastic area for walks too.

Lovely September break
Thank you to Sue and Martin for letting us stay at your fantastic property. The house was immaculate and very clean, with everything in place to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Favourite time was sitting on your sun beds on the decking late afternoon in the sun and listening to the seagulls, and the short stroll to the Estuary for a drink at the Crab Shell. Our dogs, Lola and Buddy felt immediately at home and loved your garden which is safe and secure. Overall, a very relaxing and much needed stay and we will definitely be booking with you again.

The property was amazing, everything we wanted, very clean and welcoming, location excellent to all the local beaches. We took our Lab with us as well, and he really enjoyed his stay. Comfortable, spacious and central
We had a lovely stay near the heart of Kingsbridge in a quiet residential area. Exactly what we wanted without always having to rely on the car. Great dog walks on the door step! The house was very comfortable and well equipped and had clearly been well cleaned which was reassuring during these uncertain times.

Very good property in excellent location.
A very well-equipped house within a short walking distance of the town centre.
There were six in our party, four adults, two children and a dog. There was plenty of room for all, and didn’t feel at all cramped. The garden is a well-kept, attractive place to spend time.
It was well-equipped in all rooms.
The bottle of wine and biscuits left as a welcome were well appreciated.
All in all, a very pleasant property.

3 Generations Family Holiday!
We chose this house as we needed a downstairs bedroom with bathroom for my Mum and Dad, two more bedrooms for my husband and I and our teenage sons and an enclosed garden for our small dog. As there were only a few stairs up to the shared living area my Mum was also very happy that she was able to get up and down with ease. It was perfect for all of us and there was lots of shared living space so we never felt like we were on top of each other. Martin and Sue were easy to contact at all times and left a lovely welcome pack for us. It is very close to the town of Kingsbridge so we were able to walk into town to potter about and go out for meals when we wanted to. I would definitely recommend Martin and Sues home as it was home away from home there was even a BBQ to use!

Great property
We stayed here for 3 nights as a family of 4 plus two grandparents and a dog. The owners had fitted a staircase prior to our arrival which was great for the kids and the dog!
The property is finished to a good standard and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The living area was big enough with plenty of seating, chairs & cutlery,
The house is a short downhill walk in to town and a short drive to the beach.
We are very familiar with the area and would stay here again
