We had a great time, Debbie (host) was very welcoming, friendly and informative, the house was so charming, clean and very comfortable. The property also had a great location, walking distance to all. We had a car but didn't even use it. I highly recommend this property rental, would definitely book again if in Savannah. Thanks again!!!

We loved our stay! The owner was very helpful, and always made herself available if or when we needed suggestions on different attractions to see or where to dine out. We loved her house, with two different porches (one screened in) to choose from to unwind from a full day. A huge bonus for us was this house has it's own secure parking. We always felt safe, a walk away from amazing shops and restaurants. Spacious bedrooms, a great kitchen table to sit around, a beautiful living room, and a great space off the dining area to also use and enjoy time together. Check in was smooth as well as instructions for checking out. We loved our time in Savannah and staying at this property completed a perfect stay.

We were in town for a wedding and our first trip to Savannah. The house was a beautiful historical home with all the modern update you need. Location was excellent. We walked almost everywhere. Host was amazing. Will definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Debbie's charming house in Savannah. The house was very clean and comfortable. We did not have a car, so we walked almost everywhere and took a few Ubers when we were tired. There is a nice parking spot if you do have a car. The screened in upstairs porch was great to sit outside in the evenings. Debbie was great with communication, making sure we had everything we needed, and going above and beyond to help us find some good spots with reservations. Can't wait to go back!

Sinks in bathrooms did not work. No shower safety bars. Utensils and glassware were dirty, floors were dirty. There were cockroaches, giant one’s throughout the first floor. However, the parking was off street and secure overall not worth the price charge.

The house was exactly like it was described. We had great communication with the Ms. Debbie! We will def stay again!

I have a small group of friends from High School (4 of us) who decided 5 years ago to get together once a year for a long weekend in a different US city each year. For 2024 we picked Savannah, Georgia so last fall I began searching on VRBO for a place that would fit our needs.
Things we look for...
- A separate room for each of us
- At least 2 full bathrooms
- A full kitchen
- Clean and comfortable
- An outdoor area where we can sit and have coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening
- Walking distance to some good places to eat
This place turned out to be perfect! Not only was it walking distance to some nice restaurants, it was in the Historic District of Savannah.
When we arrived, we by chance met the owner personally and she gave us a tour of the house and share with us several great places to shop and eat. When she says in her contract if you have any questions at all, please call me, she means it! Truely a delightful person who cares about her property and that the folks who stay there have a great time.
Thanks so much for your hospitality!

My husband & I have been to Savannah several times but we had friends that had never been. We all thought the house was in a great location, close enough to walk the river and all the great shops and restaurants. We had a car to drive as needed but most of the time it stayed in the secured parking spot. The house was clean and had all the necessities. Debbie did a great job communicating. Even though she struggled with some technical difficulties on her side, she managed to get us all the information we needed in a timely manner.

Before we got there, Debbie reached and to clarify everything which was comforting. The house was just lovely and you could feel the history throughout. The location was perfect. We could walk to most places we wanted to go. A bonus for this property is the “garage”. There is a secure parking space on the property. It was so nice to park and not have to worry about feeding a meter or moving it for street sweepers. I would highly recommend this home and I look forward to staying there the next time I visit Savannah.

The house is absolutely beautiful and larger than the photos make it appear. The upper screened in porch is delightful.

My wife and I stayed for our anniversary and this home was the perfect place. So close to shopping and restaurants, we were able to walk everywhere. The house is exactly as listed, absolutely beautiful home. Debbie is wonderful and friendly and always available to reply to any questions we had. We will be back!

Our stay in Savannah, Georgia was truly incredible! The home exceeded our expectations - it was perfectly decorated, arranged for comfort, and situated in an amazing location. We appreciate Debbie's follow-up, and we're genuinely grateful for the opportunity to stay in her wonderful home. Couldn't have picked a better residence for our stay!

The house was so cute. We loved the decor and the cleanliness. Secure parking was really appreciated because of street parking availability. Everything was within a 15 minute walk from the house. We loved Savannah with all of it history and southern hospitality. The only thing we weren’t expecting is the street noise at night. The house is historic and has the original windows and doors so it let in the sound. I am not a city person so I was not used to the sound. We used the fans to compensate for the noise. I plan on returning to Savannah next year and will stay in the same house. Host was wonderful. Very responsive and accommodating.

We couldn't be happier with our stay at Debbie's place! She made check-in so easy and even lent us additional items for my one-year-old nephew, including beach toys. The house was close enough to be walkable to all our desired locations while still being quiet and outside the rush of the historic district. The house had it's own history and charm! We definitely will book with Debbie again when we return to Savannah.

The Green Grey house was equipped with everything our family needed and is in a very convenient location, easy walk to resteraunts and shopping. Having dedicated parking for one vehicle was a huge selling point for me.
We enjoyed having this house as our home base while visiting Savannah!

The decor in the home was so Savannah! And it had all the necessities, which is so important to me when staying in a vrbo type property. Loved it! And Debbie was top notch. She made us feel SO welcome, again, it's important that I not feel like I am in a hotel

Beautiful home, great location! House had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Parking space was a huge plus. Street noise does come into the house at night, but the overall experience was wonderful. House is walking distance to everything! Communication and check in was fast and super easy. Also there is a really good coffee shop across the street. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at Green and Grey. The house has so many personal touches that made us feel right at home. Beautifully decorated with the perfect Savannah flair. Debbie is the most gracious hostess. She made sure we had all we needed and was on hand for quick questions. We love the outdoor space and the secure parking. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Generally just a fabulous weekend in a great house! We’d love to stay again!

Super quaint historic property with a super responsive owner. She wants to make sure that you enjoy your stay and also wants feedback to assist with future guest.
I went there on a long weekend to relax with some friends. If you don't mind walking a bit, the location is good. We walked down to River Street area daily. There was one afternoon we hung out on the back deck, sipped on some wine and enjoyed the breeze. Due to it being an older house, the room with the tv is a bit small but you can all get cozy and watch a movie as we did...didn't really bother us. There was another evening we spent some time in the front sitting room chatting and watching the iPad. The main beds are comfortable and enough room to share bathrooms.
If you want a little place away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get into the mix of things, this is a great place!

The Green Grey house is a very short walk to 2+ restaurants, a short walk to River Street, and has secure parking for one car (really hard to find in Savannah). The house has two large bedrooms and two outside sitting areas. Debbie was attentive and easy to communicate with during our visit. Lovely stay

We had a wonderful time in Savannah! The Green Grey House was exactly what our family needed for our stay, and it was perfectly situated at the corner of Broughton and Broad streets where we were able to park the car and walk everywhere we wanted to go. We did ride the trolley for a day trip and again for a Ghosts and Gravestones tour so we were able to see lots of sights that way, too. If we get the opportunity to go back to Savannah, we’ll definitely look to stay in the Green Grey House again!

We stayed at this property over a holiday. We were so happy to find everything we needed for enjoying family time indoors. The house is perfect for that. The decor is a wonderful blend of old and new. So cute and very spacious. However, since no one comes to Savannah to stay indoors (including us most of the time), we were also pleased to find the location was convenient to so many areas. While, it's out of the way of traffic issues, it's only couple of blocks to the river; a couple of blocks to Broughton's main shopping area and the surrounding restaurants. Easy walking. We parked our car when we checked in and didn't move it again until we checked out...also, never needed to call a car. Check in/check out was easy. Our host was beyond amazing. We hope to stay at this location again in the near future. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at this home! It is a great location for proximity to the city! Loved the back screened in balcony! It is a city, so there will be some noise from the street. It had all the necessary “hardware” to have a meal there in the home. And, I can’t say enough about our host. Not only did she give us suggestions of things to do and places to eat, she gave us ideas to help us on our trip and even made dinner reservations for us the night we came in! She was very responsive and accommodating. Thanks Debbie!

The property and the proprietor are exquisite. The property absolutely met all of our needs and more. We needed to be in Savannah to move our daughter into the local university. The property's location and it's security were the initial key requirements that were important. We had a van full of our daughters possessions and didn't want to leave the van on the street the night before moved in. The property provided a very secure car port with a security door to obscure and protect the van for the entire stay. Also, the property was uniquely situated near to my daughters dorm for the early morning check in.
Above and beyond. The house is absolutely stunning and in fabulous working condition. It is apparent that the proprietor pours love into the property and into the guests that stay at the home. I have stayed in vacation homes all over the US and Europe and this is one of the first where we felt like we were staying in a friends home as opposed to, "just another property".
The house is spacious, and for three adults, gave us ample room to spread out and lounge when needed. The appliances were in great working order, the house was perfectly cool and comfortable for the late summer heat and humidity of Savannah. There were plenty of plush towels, pillows and blankets as needed. Access was also easy easy, with key pad entry and a garage door opener to boot. The instructions were timely and easy to follow and we would certainly recommend the experience without reservation. We cannot say enough good things about the proprietor. We will certainly stay again in the future when visiting Savannah and our daughter.

Close enough to River Str to walk to but just far enough away from the noose and hustle of a busy Sav night.
6.0 / 10.0
I'm shocked that no one has mentioned how loud it is at the home. Definitely bring your ear plugs, especially if you stay in the master bedroom that faces the street. The home sits directly on a very busy 4 lane street where you can hear every car without a muffler and each vehicle that blasts boom-boom music clearly through the walls. There's also a restaurant across the street with a patio so you can hear the noise from that as well. I would stay at a home on one of the quieter squares if noise is a concern. On a plus side, the home is walkable to the majority of downtown Savannah restaurants and attractions.
On a separate note, I received a phone call from Debbie a few hours before check-in time, letting me know that there were black spots on the vents in the bedrooms due to the previous guest running the AC too low but to assure me it wasn't black mold. I'm not an air conditioning expert, but the black moldy spots all over the vents upstairs did not look like something that could occur over a few days. Out on the patio by the parking spot, there was a wasp nest, so we had to rush quickly into the house each time we made a trip out to the car to avoid being stung. The sheets also had stains which could easily be replaced.
On our final day when we were packing up to leave, Debbie opened the garage door and came walking up to the back door which was alarming since we didn't know what she looked like. Luckily we saw her through the glass and went to greet her, otherwise it would have been quite a surprise if she had waltzed into the house unannounced.
Overall, a clean house, but would choose another option next time due to the cons outweighing the pros.

What a great weekend! This house was perfect for us. The home has a historical vibe and is decorated so beautifully! We had plenty of kitchen space to make brunch one morning and cookies one night! I was more than appreciative of how incredibly clean every single space was! You can definitely tell this home is loved and valued!
The location is excellent and just a short walk to river street. We opted for the Pirate’s House for dinner one evening since it was just down the street which was convenient and delicious!
Communication with our host was incredible. She was very thorough and made sure that we had all the information needed for our stay, and she even recommended restaurants to us! The sweetest lady. I look forward to returning!
