Location and it was cute
Smell in the bathroom and smell of cleaning products

It was just out of town and a little more relaxing, super close to the beach.
Our room. I wouldn’t call it a room. It was room number one and is in the reception area. You could here reception all day and people coming in and out and there was no feeling of privacy. Disappointing when pay same price as other rooms, that room should be discounted.

SUPER close to the beach :)
The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and genuinely are doing their best. the property is very well taken care of, but the decor/ ambiance is a bit underwhelming. The cafe downstairs & free breakfast is an amazing perk. The beds are super comfortable and the showers/ deep tubs are a dream. Cafe does get super busy and I guess people love the yoga too.
Aside from the minor hiccups, overall it was a good stay and we love Matty.
A bit away from the center, but still not too far by anyyyy means. Our first night they had given us a different room than I’d originally booked, and that rooms bathroom was having sewage issues so the smell was Rancid. Getting the room I had originally booked was a bit of a process.. The new room had a window that was completely broken, and almost off the hinges.
It took the staff until our third day staying there to send any welcome message.

For us, location was great. Far enough from the main plaza noise but close to get there on foot. The bed was comfortable with sufficient billows and blankets. Air conditioning is a must! The pool was a great perk!
Our room entrance was in the lobby which you could hear noise from other folks coming and going at times. It had a window providing natural light.

Everything was perfect. The location is great, clean and comfortable, just like in the pictures.
The breakfast was really tasty and the staff amazing.
We will book again, for sure.

Great little hotel with attached cafe and wine bar. The staff were all wonderful. It was very quiet which was an added bonus as some hotels in town have noise problems.
It is a bit of a walk to the center of town. It would have been nice to get a reasonably priced taxi into town but the car service they use charges about twice what sayulita taxi charges.

location is good - hotel looks good
more like a hostel feel than a hotel - value for money definitely not worth it - we had a room with no windows definitely not worth the money we paid - noisy coffee shop / yoga studio definitely did not give the boutique hotel feel

During my stay here the room and property was clean and very relaxing. As you walk in you are welcomed by a lovely sent every time. The room is spacious and clean with a relaxing vibe that travels throughout the hotel.
Only thing I did have a problem with was them charging me way over the booking price on arrival. Also the food was aesthetic but lacked in flavor.

I was supposed to stay 3 nights. The day of our check-in. They did a treatment for spiders. Usually they block the day after to let the chimical of the product go away but they didn’t. We came in and it smelled very bad. The person that put the products even told the receptionnist that it smells worst then usual and she agreed. We didn’t want to stay because my husband is very sensitive with those kind of products. They didn’t want to give us back the money knowing that they didn’t took in consideration that usually they don’t put anyone in the room usually. She owner told us that the only thing that she could do is give us 300 pesos at a restaurant if we stay even if the products smells bad… i was super disappointed. My valentine’s day wasn’t so lovely.

Breakfast was good. Would have been happy to pay the difference for other choices. Love the proximity to beach and restaurants.
The barista did not seem like a happy man. Rest of the staff was amazing, charming and efficient

Location was great for me because I was in Sayulita to disconnect, recharge, relax, and be close to the beach. The property is a 1-2 minute walk to the beach, and I went most nights for sunset. There was a lil beach bar with a great vibe. There was also a fantastic restaurant/bar just a few steps next door, too. The hotel is far enough from the main square that it's quiet, and I really liked that. Big comfortable bed, the staff was really friendly, the cleaning staff also made the room feel super fresh when I needed cleaning. Furniture and design was on point. Nice pool in the back, and sunny patio in the front upstairs. The coffee at the restaurant was amazing. Blablabla, it's a sexy modern place and has everything you need. Great stay.

It’s very convenient to walk to beach and there is a very good restaurant nearby.

Room was like a jail cell. Didn't even have any real windows. Upper rooms were loud due to the busy cafe downstairs.

location, great cafe and nice pool
a lot of noise in the morning from the cafe

The location, just south of the main plaza, was ideal for escaping the high energy of town. It had a wonderful café attached to the hotel and the staff were more than accommodating.
Room 1 was quite loud as it is situated in the main lobby. Our mini split unit stopped working the first night due to the power going out but the staff helped us out and moved our room.

A quaint, minimalist property with great decor. It’s stylish and a comfortable place to lay your head.
The property doesn’t necessarily have a ton of amenities; therefore plan ahead. The infrastructure wasn’t that great during our stay. The power and water went out the last few days of the trip. There are also few food options near the hotel.

No frills hotel in an excellent location. Far enough from the noise but close enough to walk there. Two blocks away from the beach. No TV no problem; staff was there only partly but they were available if needed.
Can't beat the location and if you have been to Sayulita before this is perfect. Eateries and beach were close enough but just far enough.

It was quiet saltwater pool was OK
They charged us for dirty towels don’t understand it was a bit windy at times it was kind of dusty so of course when you walked in the floors got dirty and when they were wet after you dried yourself with a towel you put it on the floor in the bathroom to keep your feet clean so they got dirty that’s why towels get washed we did not ask for maid service every day so they were dirty don’t think I should’ve been charged
