If you are looking for a luxurious cottage located in an interesting and pretty village with all facilities nearby, and beautifull stunning views to a sandy bay , Casa Convidado will be the perfect choice. You will find a peaceful and relaxing holiday in the beautiful Algarve sunshine ,within easy walking distance to the golden beach, with it’s activities, the many restaurants, the fun cafes, the good shops and the lovely traditional Church..
This cottage is an appealing Luz property , recently renovated, with the air conditioned bedrooms downstairs with their own designer bath and shower rooms. Two double bedrooms open onto an intimate lower shady terrace, and then down to the picturesque little garden with outside shower. There is also a comfy twin bedded room.
Upstairs you will find an airy and amazingly spacious room with a stunning sea view. At one end the modern kitchen provides everything for your needs and has a stylish dining area also with air conditioning . The comfortable sitting area on the south side has a big dining terrace outside with a stunning view over the sea and down to the famous and beautiful “Rocha Negra”. From here you can enjoy the overwhelming sunrises and sunsets.

We stayed for ten days with 5 adults. The location is really good - enough space on two floors with a beautiful seaview from the veranda. Ist was very clean and we missed nothing. Luz is not as overcrowded as Lagos. It has an overwhelming sand beach and you could do trekking tours to the cliffs with really nice views. Or stay at the beach with lot‘s of activities.

We had a great stay in this beautiful house. Great space, nice bedrooms, nice kitchen/living room area. Beuatiful terrace with great sea view. Every morning it was a pleasure to enjoy the coffee with the view on the sea and landscape. 5 minutes walk to the beach. I also recommend the lessor (Pedro, Rita) and the way of communication. Location could not have better. It was a short walk to beach, restaurants and markets. The patio was perfect for enjoying the early morning sunrise. Enough space for our grown family! Looking forward to coming back.

We loved this apartment! The view from the terrace is beautiful and overlooking the beach. The location is very close to the beach, stores and restaurants. And, it is very quiet and peaceful. The manager was also very responsive and helpful. Loved it!

We spent a month there an loved everything about it. The bedrooms were very comfortable and kitchen living area were better than our home. The view from the deck was spectacular. Rita was a great host. The location was a short walk to beach and several excellent restaurants. Luz is a hidden gem of a community. We’d love to return again.

We adored the property which was even more beautiful than the pictures! It has excellent heating in every room, an important feature in the winter in the Algarve. Rita was so helpful & responded very quickly to our every need. Planning to return next year.

This place totally exceeded my expectations. Not only was it beautiful and in the perfect little beach town within waking distance of the beach, the host, Rita made us feel so welcome! She messaged me prior to arrival and met us when we arrived. Directions were perfect. She showed us everything we needed to know, gave us exceptional recommendations for everything we wanted and had some wine, cheese and other goodies waiting for us. Not only did we love this, our kids did too! Beach was great, also saw dolphins and had delicious ice cream every day! 10/10 recommend!

We loved our stay in Luz, the area wasn’t as commercial as Lagos so we could really relax. The home was lovely and spacious with an easy walk to the beach. The master bedroom lock needs fixing as I was stuck locked in at one point, and the property manager taped up the lock so it wouldn’t latch closed and repeat that but… the master bedroom door wouldn’t latch closed so there was a lack of privacy. Other than the latch, everything was wonderful, and I know they’re working on getting the latch replaced. We loved the communication level, very responsive and super helpful! I would definitely return!

This property lived up to its promises and went well beyond our expectations: the fireplace was fantastic, the heating in all the rooms extremely efficient, towel warmers in the bathrooms kept the bath linens warm and dry, the kitchen was well-equipped with gadgets and utensils for a variety of culinary needs and all appliances were spotless— even the pots and pans were shining! The sea view from the expansive upper living space was stunning and the natural light provided a cheerful and comfortable ambiance that was much-appreciated on rainy days or when work needed to be done remotely. The bedrooms were well-appointed and the predominently white color scheme created a bright and cozy feeling, the tiled bathrooms were impeccably clean— it was obvious that a lot of attention was given to long-term maintenance! Situated right in the heart of town, we were able to leave the car at home for almost all activities unless we wanted to go exploring to nearby places. Rita and Pedro were and excellent support team, available at any time for any reason. The photos and information provided were surprisingly accurate and we enjoyed a great, relaxing winter vacation!

Our stay was very special, the location is easy to get to and you’re welcomed with a nice smile on check in. The bedrooms are perfect size for couples with plenty of storage. Upstairs is the open plan kitchen and living area with outside terrace. It’s just a lovely space with a great ocean view, we enjoyed several bbq whilst there, spa shop is walking distance and had good selection of meats. The beach was a short walk away with plenty of options for nice food at all times of the day. The area is pretty good to access the West (Sagres sunset is a must) and the Lagos, Alvor etc to the East. Overall our experience with Diana and Rita was first class and the property is fantastic! We’d love to come back one day.

The house more than matched our expectations. We had a very warm welcome with some traditional snacks which was a great start to the holiday. The house was beautifully renovated and the view from the terrace always brought a smile to our face. Comfy beds, great bathrooms and a lovely well equipped kitchen. Location wise it was very good, not far from the beach and restaurants and local supermarket. We used the barbeque a lot as it was nice to eat on the terrace. Plenty of water sports on the beach and my boys surfed near Sagres. Lagos wasn't far and good shopping there. Excellent restaurants and great cocktails. We loved Luz and our holiday.

Delightful property with modern fit out and great views. A few noisy moments late night at weekends from local bars and residents but as a family of four, we found the space, convenience and location (especially for walks either way towards Lagos/Burgau) excellent!
