High Point Lodge earns its name by being situated in a secluded park-like setting atop a hill, but the 6,500 square feet of luxury accommodations just may be the high point of your stay in the majestic Hocking Hills. You'll wish your stay was longer to enjoy all this lodge has to offer.

Relax, play, or exercise in the indoor saltwater pool in the detached pool house complete with a bathroom, comfortable patio furniture, and full size refrigerator. Open up the sliding glass doors in the warm months to get the feeling of being outdoors-no sunscreen required! Or sunbathe on the attached deck overlooking the expansive front lawn and tree-lined hillside. When the sun sets, cozy up to the fire ring or warm up in the covered hot tub.

With Hocking Hills State Park and area attractions only minutes away, we highly recommend you enjoy the splendor of the great outdoors, but you may not want to leave the beauty of these great indoors. Two kitchens with stainless steel appliances are well-equipped for preparing meals for your large party. High Point Lodge enables your group to gather all together in the light-filled great room and around the custom-built rustic table, but there is also plenty of space to spread out.

In fact, you may have to search for some of your company. We suggest checking the lower level room with the pool table, 60 game arcade cocktail table, and bar or the secondary great room with the shuffleboard and bowling game table. Six flat screen TVs with DirectTV make sure no one is fighting over the remote. Children and the young at heart will love to snuggle up in the tent-like feeling of the loft. Kids can play for hours in the yard on the large play set, complete with swings, a slide, monkey bars, and fort while caregivers can look on from the expansive wrap-around porch.

High Point Lodge is wheelchair friendly with wide doorways throughout the first floor. Guests with special needs can park close to the front door and use the ramp to the entrance. A shower on the main level includes a shower seat and grab bars for our guests' safety and convenience.

Great place with lots to do on site as well as nearby. The pool being in a separate building was great..and so nicd to have fridge and bathroom in the building. Really nice accommodations. Tammy, Rob and their staff were great.

We had a great weekend celebrating a family birthday for our 99 year old grandmother. We had ages 99 down to a 1 year old and this location worked well for a wide span of ages. There was so much to do on property to keep everyone occupied. The large dining table was nice for all the large family meals. Thanks for allowing us to celebrate in your home.

We went in a group of 15 people with kids. It has been the most pleasurable experience for us. The property is just fabulous with plenty of amenities which are extremely guest friendly. The basement indoor pool was an extra plus. The host Tammy was communicative and helpful. We definitely plan to come back here again to enjoy the outdoors and the fall Colors. It is a beautiful property. I would give it 7 stars.

We stayed for a family get together with 22 people. Plenty of space throughout the house and property. Loved the large dinning room fit everyone for dinner. The indoor pool was amazing and everyone enjoyed a lot of time in the water!

Our family very much enjoyed the pool, hot tub, campfire area, 5 bathrooms, 8 bedrooms, three refrigerators, space to move around, areas both in and out allowing us to dine together, lots of outdoor seating, corn hole, etc at High Point Lodge. A storm knocked out power one day so having a generator was a huge plus. Tammy, from Hocking Hills Premier Properties, was an absolute gem to work with. That said, there were maintenance issues that necessitated not just fairly regular contact with management but also having service people in the lodge multiple times during our vacation time (some of which we refused but they came anyway). Given the very high cost of this lodge, and its rating as being one of the top 17 most luxurious rentals in the country, we were very frustrated and flummoxed to have time and privacy taken from our long awaited family reunion to attend to any property issues at all.

We had a fantastic stay at the High Point Lodge. The outdoor amenities were fantastic and allowed us to connect to the Hocking Hills. The property truly lived as an indoor/outdoor space. We had so much fun at the lodge that we only left a few times to go hiking.

I can't recommend High Point Lodge enough! We have stayed in Hocking Hills many times with our friends and this was by far our favorite! The indoor pool is incredible and the cabin is outstanding. If you are looking for a place to entertain family reunions, friends getaways, or just enjoy a pool, this is the place!

The lodge was great for our giant family. There was plenty of space for everyone and the kids especially enjoyed the indoor saltwater pool. We had a wonderful winter get-away with fires in the wood burning fireplaces, great hiking nearby, and even woke up to 2 inches of snow (which the property manager promptly shoveled and plowed). Highly recommend!

Loved it! Very spacious, very well equipped kitchen. Loved the pool and numerous large screen TVs.. Group loved the pool table. Secluded. Would love to visit again in warmer weather. Really enjoyed our short time there. Would have liked to have some firewood for one of the evenings.

This is a great place for a big group of friends or family. Lots of separate spaces for kids and adults to hang out. Secluded and beautiful grounds. Very close to HH park locations. The pool is awesome and pretty big. At one moment during our stay we had about 12 people in the water and it didn’t feel crowded! Hot tub was fun! Everything worked, kitchen was above average and well stocked. The hosting company was responsive. We had such a good time!!! (Only item to add… bring a few extra towels for the pool 🙂)

Multiple families over LaborDay weekend, great amenities (pool table, arcade games, indoor pool, fire pit). 2 full kitchens, 1 on main floor, 1 lower level. Only 1 bedroom had a private bathroom. Some of the bathtubs need repaired, not leveled and tile/ caulk was moldy. Beds were comfortable and had nice linens. Towels were nice too. Overall a great rental. We had 13 adults from different families. I think anymore people would have been tight with the bed arrangement.

Great Lodge for a large family getaway

The lodge was perfect! It was very large, plenty of space for a big group. The bedrooms and bathrooms worked great for 5 families. The kids loved the games, pool table, the loft.etc. The pool house was where we spent most of our days. Having the bathroom and fridge in the pool house, made it so easy to just spend the day there and not have to run back and forth to the house. There were plenty of chairs around the property and decks to enjoy a nice cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. We highly recommend this lodge for your large gathering!

I wasn’t going to rate this property but I decided to give my input so that some improvements could be made. Seeing that we caught 2 mice in traps that we bought was very unsettling. If we hadn’t seen the mice I can’t even think how much of the food that we brought would have gotten contaminated. Picking up the wine glasses that had mouse poop on them also unsettling. We called and more wine glasses were set upside down on the top hutch in the same poop as the other glasses. Some finishes needed attended to, the pool sliding doors do not slide, the kitchen table was very damaged with potential splinters, large wasp nest outside deck door, small bathroom near kitchen smelled like urine, outside deck tables were filthy. Tables and chairs were very sticky. Loved the pool however I would not classify this property as a premium cabin because it was showing its age or abuse.

We had so much fun with our large family during the holidays. The large house had a perfect massive long table for eating and playing games! The swimming pool iwas exceptionally large, warm and inviting. The bedrooms accommodated us all and there was plenty of room to spread out. We also were close enough to the hiking and sightseeing trails that southern Ohio is known for to take advantage of!

This was by far the best place we have stayed in for a weekend. This cabin literally had it all! We over packed because we were afraid we wouldn't have everything we needed for our huge family. This place was absolutely amazing. The beds were comfy, the pool was perfect, and we had such a wonderful family filled weekend.

The place is large enough to feel spacious with 20 people and yet cozy enough to feel connected. Multiple gathering spaces- the giant rustic dining table, great room, bar downstairs, porch, deck, and fire pit. The pool is amazing. The view was beautiful. The only thing would have wanted was a better cooking supply set up - pots and pans are old and scratched, mismatched. No kettle. Dull knives. If you are a foodie just bring your own stuff. Other than that it was perfect. I will DEFINITELY be back!!!!
