About this house rental
Enjoy our spacious 2000 sq. ft private ground level waterfront home with a 75' of protected private deep-water dock on a Gulf finger canal. We have a large driveway for 2 boat trailers and cars.
Beautiful, majestic manatees visiting our dock every day.
We are on a finger canal off the Gulf of Mexico & minutes to the Atlantic Ocean via Vaca Cut. It is ideal for those who love boating or just enjoy having quiet time overlooking the water. The patio deck has a gas grill to cook your day's catch while watching the incredible sunset.
Our ground level home with only two steps to the front door, has a lot of extras for a carefree vacation: a fully equipped kitchen, W/D, a fish cleaning table & bait freezer.
We are also pet friendly with a grass backyard. Pet policy limits to 2 dogs, no other animals allowed. There is $150 pet fee.
NO hidden large admin fees, ours are $50 .
There are two master suites with king size beds w/ private baths. Main master Suites has a new adjustable bed. The guest room has two twin beds and a private 1/2 bath.
6 adults MAX per city regulations.
As our guests you have full access to the Cabana Club, which is located on Key Colony Beach 1 mile away. It has sandy beaches on the Atlantic Ocean, Olympic size climate controlled (heated in winter & chilled in summer) pool, hot tub, poolside Tiki bar and restaurant. There is also a changing room with showers as well as a game room for the kids.

This property is exactly what we wanted for our week in the keys. It was so convenient having our boat right there in the back yard, so conveniently located next to great fishing spots. Having free access to the Cabana Club was such a nice touch. Will likely rebook this property on our future visits.

I loved everything about this home. The pictures didn’t do it justice. It was larger and nicer than the pictures show. Everything was clean, well stocked and property manager answered texts promptly. The neighborhood was quiet, as well as the canal. We loved our stay. I would highly recommend booking this home.

We spent nearly all of our waking hours on the boat while we were in Marathon. The location of this home made it very quick and easy to be either in the Gulf directly or the Atlantic via Vaca Cut. There were indeed manatees who came to the dock every day and plenty of small fish to look at as well. Inside the home, our family of four had plenty of room, it was clean, and the kitchen/linen closets were well stocked. Communication with Debbie, the house manager, was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this home and I expect that we will rent this one again on our next visit to the Keys.

The house was very clean and exceeded my expectations. Beds were super comfortable and the back deck was a great place to hang out. Kitchen is updated and fully stocked with everything you need. The cabana club pool is a great asset. We will definitely be back.

This was our second stay at this property having previously stayed for two weeks in Feb 2023. We love the look and feel of the house - so spacious and well equipped. The manatees are constantly visiting in the canal along with tarpon and pelicans. The location makes for super easy access to the gulf for kayaks or paddle boards and convenient access to the bike path. Highly recommend.

Property location good but manager not concerned. Was to come by or have tvs fixed but never heard back from her all week. Found AC problems but no one to tell too. Dont brag on a system 6 yrs old with a 1 to 2 yr life and this one gone. Plus all the water which baking soda boxes wont fix.

House is very clean and as described. No issues while present. Appreciated owner check in via email and text to ensure we were pleased and to see if we needed anything. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the back porch and used dock. Bikes were a great plus. Pool is a small drive but the club it belongs to, staff were super friendly and personal and pool was large very clean and enjoyable. Pool did have some short hours ends at 7 pm most days and 5 pm on Mondays but not a huge issue. Kitchen is stocked pretty well. Would definitely stay again!

This house was perfect for our family of 5 and our dog. The docking space is great with clean water wash down and electric hook up to charge batteries! The fish cleaning table was great for cleaning our daily catch! Great location on the Gulf side with quick easy access through the Vaca cut to the Atlantic! The bikes were great for going to the shops that are close by! And Conch Custard is a short walk for a tasty cool treat! We loved this place and will hopefully be back again!

We spent a week in the Keys and based ourselves in Marathon. This property was clean, well-appointed and well-situated. The manatees in the canal behind the house greeted us upon arrival, and we saw them most days. We would stay there again.

My family and I had a great time. The pictures on Vrbo don’t do this place justice. It was super comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved watching for manatees in the canal. We would stay here again!

Clean home , well stocked kitchen, nice layout of home with regard to bedrooms. We rented a boat and were happy to have the bikes with baskets. We made the 1.9 mile bike ride to cabana club a few times. Busy road to bike on but there is a bike path along it. Great bikes - even have phone holders! Lots of restaurants to choose from. We had takeout from Franks Grill that was excellent and only a two minute walk from house. Breakfast place equally close.

My husband and I loved everything about our stay at this house and we would definitely rent again. The house was immaculate upon arrival. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and food storage which is rare in my house rental experience. Location is convenient to local beaches. Sombrero beach is lovely. We did not bring a boat, but very much enjoyed relaxing by the canal and watching the visiting manatees and pelicans. My husband enjoyed paddle boarding on the canal and out to the gulf. The local bike path is easy to access and makes for great biking. Local neighborhood streets were perfect for early morning dog walks.

The house is perfectly located in Marathon. Everything you need for a great vacation is provided. The house was clean and spacious for our family. The Cabana beach club was a big hit with the whole family! The manatees coming each morning were a treat. We would definitely stay here again and we are already planning our trip!

We loved our stay at this property. It is within walking distance of restaurants and Aquarium Encounters and central location to many activities in the keys. We were too busy to take full advantage of the Key Colony Cabana Club, but we did visit one day and it was great (pool for the kids and drinks for the adults!). The property was very clean and nice layout for 3 couples (grandparents, sisters family with a 6 year old, and the two of us). It didn’t feel crowded and had enough space for everyone. There were manatee in the canal every day we were there. Thanks for offering up this beautiful home on VRBO.

We had a great time visiting the Florida Keys and staying at this property in Marathon. It was very clean and just as pictured online. It's also very conveniently located to all of the activities we wanted to do: beaches, snorkeling, and a little over an hour to Key West. We would definitely stay here again.

We’ve stayed here twice in the past two years & I hope we can continue to do so in the future. We had three couples in the house and found it to be plenty spacious. The two King beds are very comfortable, but if you’re planning on adults sleeping on the twin beds, bring some comfortable padding as they’re not the best for older peeps! The dock is well kept and great for any boat, the updated kitchen is phenomenal, the washer & dryer both work great, and the views were especially enjoyable. Plenty of parking, lots of places to ride the provided bikes, the air conditioner keeps up even on the hottest days.. I could go on! Love staying here.

This is a lovely place to stay, spacious and plenty of dock space available. It’s close to all the Marathon amenities, and it is an easy boat ride to open water. We enjoyed being there - and we really enjoyed watching the manatees in the canal.

My family and I loved this place! Having been from the Keys you'll never know what the place will be like. This house was very spacious for 8 people. With more rollaways it could sleep more if allowed. It was very clean and full of amenities and supplies. We didn't have a boat but if we did the dock was great and easy access to the bay and ocean. Having access to the Cabana Club was great also. If we had any complaint it would be the no-seeums but that is no fault of the host and nothing a little bug spray can't fix. We would definitely stay here again!!

As frequent visitors to the Florida Keys, I can honestly say this was one of the most enjoyable. The location of the home allowed us access to both the gulf and the Atlantic within minutes of jumping on the boat. The spacious floor plan and internet access allowed 3 of the 4 members of our party to work during our visit. We look forward to booking this house again!

The property was excellent. Everything was very spacious and very clean. The location was close to some nice seafood restaurants and very close to some local beaches, although our favorite beach state park was Bahia Honda. We even saw a manatee in the canal from the backyard of the house. We will come back for sure. The owner of the property was very responsive and check on how we are doing or would need anything.

I was pleasantly surprised by the house!! Great location and with the boat dock at the house we just hopped on our boat every night and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. I was so impressed by the host and the way she had everything setup. It was PERFECT!!! Everything was in the home that was needed for a great vacation!!! I would stay here again!!! Awesome!!!!

House was perfect for our family vacation. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Location was very central for all activities we had planned. Deck and bbq grill were put to good use. Enjoyed the visits from the manatees, iguanas and the variety of birds. Should we return to the Keys we would definitely consider this property again. Thank you very much for opening your home!
