We chose this place as a quiet but close location to town. It was so wonderful to sit on the deck and listen to the birds in the morning and have coffee. It’s perfect for size for two! Everything you need is provided! Michael and Barbara were extremely responsive and even suggested events going on around the island! We come back annually and will definitely stay with them again.

This place is awesome. We were lucky to stay there 3 days- we wish it was longer. The views are stunning, the bed is comfy, the porch is great. We enjoyed meeting Michael and Barbara, their son and pups. Constant contact and they met us after we landed. You will want to rent a vehicle. We used a small SUV which did the job just fine! Hope to return soon.

Rented this house for the senic views and secluded location. Although we wernt able to meet the host do to unfortunate circumstances he kept in touch and had a house host also stay intouch. The views were great just what we wanted.

Absolutely adorable cottage in the mountains of St Croix. If you’re looking for an adventurous time on the island, this is your place. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. Please rent a 4WD vehicle if you want to stay here as it is absolutely necessary in the rainy season. Close to beautiful Cane Bay and Christiansted and central to basically everything.

Everything about our stay was top notch. I grew up in St Croix, and wanted to stay somewhere off the beaten path. The house was well kept and surrounded by gorgeous, lush rainforest. It is a short drive to Cane Bay, and easy access to Christiansted and Frederiksted. Michael was an incredible host — met us at the airport and made sure we had what we needed all week. And the regular visits from his dogs was the icing on the cake. Couldn’t have been a better stay.

Looking for some peace and quiet? This is the location! Everything you'll need is here. No traffic. No loud neighbors. The property was very clean and fully equipped. The views out to sea are awesome. My host was great. Came out to the airport to welcome me. Gave me the run down of the property and the neighborhood. Very easy to get a hold of with any questions. It's a short ride to everything like Pueblo supermarket, restaurants and clubs. A wonderful experience and plan to return for a longer visit.

We had a blast and the hosts were amazing! Words can't express our time here. If we could leave a 1,000 star review we would. Truly breathtaking and would stay here again. Lots of love in this place! ❤️

Beautiful view, great deck, conveniently located for outings anywhere on the island. It was nice to have Bear and Ginger (nice dogs!) visit us.

Awesome location with sweeping views of the north shore right above Cane Bay. Affordable, great location, and privacy. The hosts were extremely responsive, accommodating and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

The owner, Michael, met us at the airport and led us back to the property. You couldn't meet a more helpful, friendly host. What a great guy!
Everything was as pictured. The place was clean, quiet, and had amazing views. We went by the supermarket on the way and stocked up for the week. The kitchen has virtually everything you need.
The Wi-fi worked great and phone service was good as there are several towers on the adjacent mountain.
Cane Bay Beach is a 5 minute drive away. It is has amazing views on a sunny day. We just parked our rental along the edge of the road that parallels the beach. There are several good restaurants here as well.
The family dogs are occasional visitors and are super friendly. We loved having them around...especially Bear, the big black Lab/Chow mix.
So many more nice things to say. The place get 5 Star ratings for a good reason.
We will definately be back soon!
Thank You Michael for all the hospitality!

Our stay was amazing, I booked this trip for my husbands 40th birthday. We are avid beach goers so the location in proximity to the beach was perfect and the other places we'd made plans to visit we not far either. We really loved staying here the host were absolutely amazing and accommodating. We were a bottle of vodka from them, they have another vacation rental close by as well it was vacate during our stay so they let us choose which apartment we liked better. Michael's rental has a best view I've seen in my life. The location is off the beaten path and not so easy to find via GPS so Michael's wife met us at the airport to make sure we didn't any issues finding the place. long story short the place is as pictured, it was clean, comfy any fully stocked with all necessities needed.

Amazing/lovely place. If you want to stay at the top of the mountain and you’re ok with driving up the hill in a 4X4 as a small adventurous ride this is definitely the place to stay. Sunrise and sunset views here are priceless. The owner is cool and is available all the time to help if needed. Thank you, we will definitely go back.

The property's location provides an amazing view of the ocean, sunset and island. The owners are extremely helpful and offered guidance on what we could do during our stay. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back and enjoy this place again.

We loved the property and the views that it affords. Having the privacy of being in the mountains, but 20 to 30 minutes from most of the places we wanted to see and hang out was awesome. Being less than five minutes from Cane Bay was very convenient. Michael was wonderful, he was there if you needed him, And Bear and Ginger the property dogs made us feel just like we were at our own home. They also aren’t overbearing, if you want them around they pick up on it and hang out, but they are pretty timid and would leave I think if you didn’t want them there. Great stay, pretty cool house, and a wonderful island. Will definitely be back to Saint Croix and stay with Michael.

Well, first off we didn’t read any reviews and rented a Rio car. Might have been a better idea to rent a SUV or jeep we later discovered. Michael met us at the airport to guide us to his beautiful property, which was very kind so we didn’t get lost because our cell service was in and out. It’s very private and so peaceful if your looking to get away from all the madness of the city in the states. Totally will refresh your soul.
We missed our Louie Boston Frenchie so we met had Ginger and Booger Bear to hang out with us at night. The bed and sofa are so comfy and nice. Internet and cell service worked great on top of the mountain. Michael responses very quickly if you have any questions or need help.
Our favorite hangout spot was a straight shot down to Cane Bay. Love everything about this place. We will be back.

A comfortable spot with a spectacular view! The host met us and led us to the property. St Croix is so much more laid back than St Thomas. We actually hated to leave but did have plans to explore other islands as well. A great place tor renew your spirit.

Definitely one of our best vacation experiences ever.
The place is exactly like the photos, waking up to this view every morning is just priceless!
The location is very central, about 20 min drive to either ends of the island including all the beautiful beaches the island has to offer.
Michael, the host, is a real local and he's certainly the most friendly and gracious host I ever dealt with. He met us at the airport, lead us to the cottage and volunteered to give us all the good tips on what to do and where to go. All his tips were on point.
If you're looking for a secluded retreat that's still a short drive to anywhere you wanna go, look no further. It's worth every penny.

Experience was one of the best I’ve encountered and this is coming from someone who has 5yrs Hotel Management experience. Host will walk you through every step and ensure you have an amazing experience and go above and beyond to accommodate you and your family/friends needs. Location is extremely secluded, scenic and literally on the mountain top. Again, this property has amazing views, do not hesitate to book.

Staying in Blue Cottage A was my first VRBO experience. But definitely not my last! The property was perfect for writing and relaxing. The cottage is immaculate, spacious, and bright. One can cook just about anything in the full kitchen. The porch...you just have to see it! The sights and sounds of the sea each morning began my days with optimism and joy. The cool evening breezes calmed my spirit. Still, words fail to capture just how beautiful St. Croix is from the vantage point of the cottage.
Michael is a first-rate host and human being. He treated me like a family member coming home for a visit. In all my years of travel, I have seldom encountered such genuine kindness and hospitality. I would return to Estate Belvedere just to see Michael again. And, the company of my writing and lounging companions--Bear & Kacha (Michael's dogs)--made me feel like I belonged with them, in St. Croix.

We enjoyed our stay at Michaels and Barbara's cottage.
Michael meet us at the airport and guided us to the cottage deep in the rain forest. As others have mentioned; you really need a jeep or truck to navigate the rough roads. But once you reach the cottage, what an AMAZING view! Michal was very accommodating and provided us with everything we needed. If you are a diver, there is also a large container to clean and a place to hang your gear (very close to Cane Bay). The cottage contains everything you will need during your stay (beach chairs, cooler, dish detergent, beach towels, cooking supplies etc.). The bed and the couch was very comfortable. There are 3 very sweet dogs on the property but booger bear their black lab would visit every morning and night keeping us company.
Michael, Barbara and Booger Bear were the prefect hosts!!
We would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying here! The deck and views were amazing. Every morning we would have breakfast on the deck ans at night we would listen to the waves at look at stars.
The cottage was the perfect size for us. The bed was comfortable and plenty of storage. Michael provided beach chairs, a cooler, and beach towels.
Getting to the cottage requires a Jeep. The roads are very rough! Most of the raids around St Croix have a lot of pot holes. The road to Michael’s is a rough dirt road that requires higher clearance.
We loved the location as it was just up the mountain from Sweet Bottom Dive center where we became certified divers.
Michael met us at the rental car location (We used Olympic) and took us to the cottage. He is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the island.
If we ever get to come back to St Croix we will definitely be staying here!

Wife and I love St Croix.
We’d been here on three other occasions doing Mission construction work through UMVIM and LSSVI, but this was our first “vacation” here.
We were very pleased with everything and everyone. The accommodations were as expected. Michael met us at the airport and showed us the way. We rented a keep and had no problems on the dirt roads leading to the house. The view is beautiful. You can see Cane Bay and here the ocean as well as music from The Landing. Great central location!

Michael met us at the airport and guided us to the house located at the top of a ridge overlooking the north shore and at the end of the road for lots of privacy. We found the house to be very comfortable and had all we needed for a six week stay. He has some sweet dogs that we encouraged to visit us because we missed our dogs. The road to the house gets a bit rough for the last couple of miles, so I recommend a car that takes pot holes. The central location is great and is 30 minutes to Frederiksted, 15 minutes to Salt River and 20 minutes to Christenstad. The house isn’t fancy but it’s clean and comfortable plus, Michael and Barbara are so friendly and helpful! We would stay there again!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy and centrally located mountaintop retreat. We had everything we needed, including beach towels and chairs, cooking supplies, and extra linens. The views were phenomenal, and what's not to like about dining outdoors while being serenaded by the local wildlife? Our host, Michael, went out of his way to make our stay flawless, including meeting us at the airport, accompanying us to a supermarket to lay in supplies, and even fixing a flat tire on our rental Jeep. Pro tip: rent a Jeep. The roads in St. Croix have fallen victim to many storms and have many potholes as a result. It's all part of the island experience! We will definitely return and stay here again.

Michael was the perfect host. We spend an entire month (August 2020) to get more of a feel of the island. Loved everything, most especially the view and the spacious deck. We decided on that trip to purchase property on St. Croix, so needless to say we loved the island too. Can't recommend this property enough.
