Welcome home to High Tide A! We have owned High Tide since late 2014 and it has been our pleasure to host guest from all over the country at this beautiful property.

High Tide A has all BRAND NEW PELLA doors & Windows. We keep the unit very well stocked and well mainteaned. New Bedroom furniture May of 2024. Updated Master Bath. The views of the beach & sunset are some of the best you will find on SSI! Photos do not do it Justice!

High Tide A has 2 floors with 3 Bedrooms and 3 full Bathrooms. It offers incredible Ocean Views as well as convenient access to all of the island's most popular restaurants and attractions. This property is located right on the beach. It has a private lawn out front for relaxing, sunning, and grilling. If you tire of lounging on shaded porches or walking on the beach, a short ten-minute walk will find you at the village where you can enjoy a number of restaurants and a stroll down the famous Saint Simons Pier - you may even spot a big catch being reeled in! A walk in the opposite direction will take you to the famous island restaurant duo Crab Daddy's & Crab Trap.

The main floor of High Tide A has a full kitchen, 6 person dining area, a wonderful living room that opens to a really cool porch which leads down to the beautiful lawn and the beach. There is one bedroom with a full bath on the main floor. The second floor has the large Master Bedroom with a private balcony overlooking the Ocean and its own private bathroom as well as an expansive closet. Also located on the second floor is the second guest bedroom and bathroom as well as the laundry room.

All bedrooms and the living room are equipped with flat-screen televisions and the house is wi-fi enabled.

High Tide is a beautiful Ocean Front Cottage on the beach that has 3 separate units each with its own entrance, living areas and porches. While High Tide A is a stand-alone unit, it can be combined with Unit B & the Penthouse to serve as the perfect location for reunions, corporate retreats, family vacations, and gatherings.

Parking: Unit A includes TWO parking spaces. Street and public parking are available.

Ryan Saunders, our property manager, takes excellent care of our guests and lives right around the corner. Like any good neighbor, he's only a phone call away should you need anything to make your stay more comfortable.

We recommend our guests purchasing travel insurance.

We had a wonderful vacation staying at High Tide! The view was beautiful as well as the condo! Each bedroom had its own balcony, the master having a view of the ocean. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen in a rental that I have ever seen! Everything was clean and exceeded our expectations! We intend on making it a family tradition to stay here every year for the 4th! Ryan was great at responding to any questions we had in a timely manner. Can't wait for next year!

Our family comes to St. Simons for a reunion evert other year. We have stayed in a number of different places over the years, but this year worked out just perfectly!My husband and I stayed in unit A with younger daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters (15 and 17). Our older daughter, grandson, granddaughter, her husband and our great granddaughter stayed in unit B. It was the perfect situation as we could come back and forth to be together!Plus Oglethorpe is the best location, right on the beach and a short walk to village and pier! The best of everything!

We loved our stay at High Tide. It has breathtaking views and great outdoor areas to enjoy when you need a beach break! It had ample space for our family of four and having all en suite baths was a great perk. Well outfitted kitchen. The rocks to get to the beach were a little tricky, but our 5 and 7 year olds mastered them quickly and neighboring paths were much easier if it were really an issue. We loved being able to walk to Pier Village and enjoy the ocean view our entire trip.

I have been coming to the island for 40 years and always enjoy it. This time was no exception. I love this condo/house. It is perfect and the property custodian made it even better by being what all property managers should strive to be! The place is clean, well stocked with everything you would expect plus some extras. I will be booking again!

Wonderful unit and a great location. Nicely appointed and clean. An easy walk to the town area, lighthouse museum and visitor center. We spent many hours on the porches overlooking the ocean and on the beach itself. Access to the beach from unit was a bit tricky but there were two public access points a block or less away. We would definitely stay at High Tide again.

This property is perfect! It is right on the ocean with easy access to the beach. Walking into town was an easy quick walk. The property was very clean and looked recently updated. The comfort of the beds resulted in a good night’s sleep. Ryan was readily accessible and responded to any question we had very promptly. We would definitely stay at High Tide again!!!

From the moment you walk up the stairs you will be captivated by the ocean views at this property. We spent countless hours just enjoying the glittering ocean views and soft island breezes from the two covered outdoor areas. When it was time to explore we were just a 10 minute walk from shops and restaurants. You could not ask for a better location. The property was excellently maintained and well equipped. We never looked for anything that was not provided. The check in and check out information was clear and concise. All of these details made life very easy. We will definitely be renting again.

This was our first time visiting SSI. The location of this property was excellent . Only a short walk to the pier for the shops and restaurants. The best feature on the beach . Easy to get settled and enjoy the sun and sand . The property was large enough to be together but not feel crowded. Everyone had there own bedroom and bathroom . Well appointed kitchen and laundry .

This property was an amazing find for our family. We had 6 adults and an infant in our group. The location couldn’t be better, you’re right on the beach! The view from the balconies is spectacular, we loved watching the giant ships come in. The living space is great, comfy couches and king size beds, nice kitchen that was well stocked. We didn’t end up needing half the supplies we brought since the property already had them! We will absolutely be staying again!

Our host, Ryan, happened to be on property as we were arriving and made us feel welcome from the start. He made sure we had everything we needed and was easy to communicate with during out stay when we had a couple of quick questions. We stayed in High Tide Unit A, which was perfect for our group. Over the years we have stayed at three other places on St. Simons, a couple of them multiple times, but we will check High Tide FIRST the next time we go. The unit is immaculate, spacious, well-laid out with comfortable furnishings, and the unobstructed views of the ocean (from large balconies off the living room and the master bedroom above it) and walk-out access are amazing. We especially appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with essential soaps and paper goods, as well as plenty of dishes, glassware and cookware, which makes a big difference over a week-long stay. There were other little touches, like hair dryers in all the bathrooms and outlets with USB in lamps and extension cords, which were very convenient. While the downstairs bathroom is shared by a bedroom and the hallway, there is private access from the bedroom, and both of the upstairs bedrooms have private baths, so essentially the unit has 3 master bedrooms, which is a nice feature. There is pantry space in the kitchen, large closets and well-sized bathrooms, so even with five adults sharing the unit for over a week, we never felt crowded. The location is fantastic - about a five minute walk to St. Simons Village, the lighthouse, pier, shopping and restaurants. Everyday we watched commercial ships and shrimp boats go by right off the beach in front of us (never got tired of that!), as well as dolphins everyday, and a couple of SpaceX launches, looking straight out from the balconies. In short, we would highly recommend everything about High Tide, from its management to the unit itself, and it will be our first choice on St. Simons in the future.

This is our second stay at High Tide, and it was just as great as we remembered it! They have done some upgrades since our last stay- new floors, doors, painting, furniture, etc. - which are wonderful!! Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are great, and plenty of room for our whole family to spread out! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to be able to feed the fam, though we didn’t do a lot of cooking. Best of all, you can’t beat the location! We loved being able to walk out onto the beach (or sit in the rocks and watch the water during high tide) and still be close enough to run inside for bathroom or snack breaks. And the new outside shower was perfect for rinsing the sand off before going back inside! They also provide beach towels, umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, etc. If we had any questions or needed anything, Ryan was just a text or phone call away. He was very nice and helpful. We can’t wait to visit again!

This is one of the best places we have stayed! I can’t say enough about this house! Ryan is great to work with, quickly responds to any questions and made sure the house was perfect! The beds were so comfortable! There was plenty of room for all of us! The view was beautiful! We saw dolphins every day! Some very close to shore. It was so nice to walk out the back door, down the steps and on the beach. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to be back!
