Viagem de família a Roma

A localização era perfeita para o que pretendíamos: muito perto do Vaticano e da estação de metro. A Agnes, que nos recebeu, foi muito prestável e atenciosa. Deu-nos as indicações necessárias e esteve sempre disponível para qualquer esclarecimento. Disponibilizaram-se a organizar um transfer de e para o aeroporto a um custo bastante aceitável, o que nos facilitou bastante, já que viajámos com crianças. Os quartos eram espaçosos, cómodos e estava tudo limpo e agradável. Certamente, aconselho e voltaria a marcar este apartamento.

O facto de ser um quinto andar assustou-nos um pouco ao início. No entanto, tem elevador disponível, embora não muito grande. Como tínhamos um carrinho de bebé era essencial.

Fabulous apartment In fantastic location and great host.

We loved this apartment- it was in a lovely apartment block in a great neighbourhood-5 mins walk to the Vatican and nearest tube. lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Large bedrooms and bathrooms,v clean and extremely helpful host.

We were so happy we chose this booking location for its location and spacious accommodations!

The location was great, the apartment was clean and spacious, and we appreciated being able to drop our bags off early.

Poor

No coffee capsules for the nespresso machine and no other coffee maker. No tea either and biscuits provided were very poor. Could not use washing machine as some previous guests’ laundry inside. Bedroom doors could not lock either and aircon did not work properly.

Exceptional

Location is excellent, short walk to the Vatican and lots of restaurants. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Place is clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely accommodation and very helpful host.

Host was lovely and happy to help throughout our stay. Property was very clean with essentials like dish and hand soap provided. Location was great, near busses, metro and within easy walking distance of many must see locations.

There are 3 bedrooms but this means the only family seating area is at the kitchen table. There are large armchairs in the bedrooms though so you can spend time with everyone in a bedroom if you want to so it's not a massive problem.

very nice overall! would stay here again!

there are several different apartments, so I can only speak to the one at Piazza Risorgimento, 36. Apartment was spacious and beds were very comfy. a/c worked great! we also enjoyed have a caffe and gelateria right outside. location was great! taxi stand right outside front door and Metro stop nearby. Easy walk to the Vatican Museums. the hosts were super communicative and easy to work with! gave us restaurant recommendations.

no living room, but it was fine to gather & chat at the dining room table. Rooms are pretty sparsely furnished and our armoire door was broken. The balcony is nothing to be enjoyed but overlooks an interior area where people hang their laundry and house bikes.

Exceeded expectations

Alby came and picked us up. We made the mistake of having our driver drop us at the wrong address. Alby graciously came and got us, and took us to the correct address.

There was nothing to not like! The apartment was clean and welcoming.

Great city centre apartment

Alberto was an excellent host. Our plane was delayed outside of check in time but he cheerfully met us at the apartment and showed us around. The apartment was in a lovely old building near to bars and restaurants and only 5 minutes walk from the Vatican. We were very pleased with the welcome basket that contained a bottle of wine which was much appreciated after a long day of travelling . We had a late flight home and Alberto very kindly kept in contact with us and on our last night confirmed there was no new booking so we had the apartment for the full day. This was a bonus as we didn't have cart our luggage around Rome. We would stay here again if we see lucky enough to return to Rome.

Great location

Location. Easy to reach most locations. Spacious apartment 5 floors up.

No hot water in kitchen. Showers tepid. Noisy. Address for Lory's Apartments is a business address not the apartment location. Iron needs replacing, short cable with several breaks.

Great location and experience of Rome!

Location, Valentina was very friendly and very helpful . she came to even look for us when we got lost. Great location near the metro and supermarket. Large and spacious flat!

The en suite bathroom in the main bedroom needs a touch up . Some of the bedding had a few stains on!

Had a good stay and don’t mind coming back to stay again.

The location is central and near to the train station. It’s walking distance to Vatican City and near by there are restaurants and mini market. the wet market is also just 7 mins walk from the apt.

The coffee machine don’t really working well. Unfortunately this apartment don’t have a living area. the common area is the kitchen. Other than that everything is good.

Exceptional service and stay!

Hosts were very accommodating. They even arranged transportation for us. We were able to contact them anytime. The location was in a safe and prime spot. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

disappointing

The location is great very close to metro, good restaurants around. the house is big. a lot of space 3 bathrooms.

to many issues, it started from the arrival, the house is located in another address via Germanico 96 and not as written (via silla). no place to stop and park a car. first night leaking of AC, sheets went completely wet. second night problems with electricity (cut of electrical power 7 times). you cannot use to many electric things together. not enough current .. no cleaning services and towel changing. beds and pillows were not comfortable. some bad smell in the big bathroom No soap and shampoo for showers The building is nice but the elevator is too small it’s a problem for a family with kids.

Great value, great location - would stay again.

Great location next to The Vatican and metro with lots of restaurants, bars and shops close by. Property ideal for us - 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The washing machine was a bonus given this was the last leg of our trip. Alberto was brilliant- easy to deal with, gave us lots of great advice and his restaurant tips were spot on. He kindly arranged our airport transfer which took the hassle out of trying to book a cab and the driver was great.

No complaints- it had everything we needed and the generous welcome basket was appreciated and kind. We were lucky to have found this place.

Disaster

The attitude of the host was awful. He blamed me for what was his issue. The apartment is not at 91 VIa Silla in Prati. It is at Via Nazionale. The listing states both addresses but at the top under property address, it lists the incorrect address. The map at the listing shows the location as being at 91 VIa Silla. The apartment is actually on Via Nazionale. It is nowhere near the Vatican and on a busy street. The host met us at the apartment having organized the airport transfer and said that someone else is staying at 91 Via Silla but that he could ask them to move in a few days time. He said that this was my fault for not reading the listing thoroughly. He also said we would have to accept a downgrade because the Via Silla apartment is not as nice (his words). We ended up staying at Via Nazionale because we felt there was no real choice. We told him repeatedly that this was a problem for us because we wanted to be near the Vatican as advertised in the listing to be near our daughter living there. He later claimed we did not complain. we certainly did. Repeatedly and I still have a print out of the texts to prove it. Also, this apartment at Via Nazionale is very loud. All night you will hear police and ambulance sirens and during the day you cannot hear each other talk if you leave the windows open. I also asked him to fix the listing so no one else would be misled (I did this multiple times) and he has not done it. He offered us a discount off of our next stay. We would never book with him again so that is not a useful offer.
