La struttura È posizionata con l'affaccio proprio su piazza San Domenico una delle piazze più importanti di Palermo quindi devo dire Vista ottima e poi nonostante ci sono vicini dei locali la sera si riposa bene.

Wonderful Stay at I Balconi di San Domenico

The apartment had the best location, just a few steps away from the Palermo Cathedral, shopping , restaurants, and the iconic Vucciria. It was also a walking distance to the Teatro Massimo. The apartment was immaculate, and the sheets and towels smelled so fresh and clean! Most of all, Virginia was very helpful, a very gracious and kind host. We will recommend this property to our family and friends.

We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious, comfortable apt. with many balconies.

The property is in a great location. The host, Virginia met us in the evening to give us the keys and apartment information. She is very helpful and kind.The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated. All of the balconies looking over the piazza are fun. We really enjoyed our stay. The hospitality was great.

Amazing stay in the heart of Centro Storico

We had a gorgeous time in this apartment. It’s a very old building on San Domenico square looking right across at the church and the restaurants below. The apartment was spotless and we were very kindly left a Sicilian bottle of wine and water which was very helpful. There’s two big bedrooms and aircon in one and in the living room. A lovely balcony to enjoy a drink in the evening overlooking the square. We were able to leave our bags before and after check in and Virginia was very quick to answer our calls and accommodate us. She offered multiple recommendations for restaurants and also helped us organise a shuttle bus to the airport. Very centrally located, right next to Vucciria market, and walking distance to everything. Would highly recommend staying here to experience the historic centre!

Excellent apartment for stay in Palermo

Location in bustling piazza with easy access to everything. Superb hostess, Virginia, who met us and made sure we had everything needed. She left us many supplies like water, milk, coffee. Good wifi.

Caution to anyone with mobility issues. Climb up a few flights. Noise from the street can be intrusive even with closed windows- that’s the flip side to being where the action is.

Wir waren im Dezember zu dritt in diesem wunderschönen Appartement. Es hat von Anfang an alles prima geklappt. Vielen Dank Virginia!!! We’d go back in a heartbeat ❤️

This apartment was adorable. The five of us in our group loved its charm, spaciousness, comfort, and cleanliness. And the location simply can’t be beat; the train station was a quick cab ride away (or a 15 minute walk), the airport shuttle bus was less than a 1 minute walk from the apartment, there is a small convenience store just across the street and a cafe just below the apartment, and attractions, shopping, and restaurants were all within walking distance. I wish this place was mine! We also loved the host! Virginia met us at the apartment and explained everything about our accommodation and the area and, when we asked for a recommendation for a restaurant, she told us of a wonderful and authentic Sicilian place just a 3-minute walk away.

A Wonderful place, a home away from home, you should be here!!-

Virginia was an absolutely wonderful host! We had everything we needed, and any support along the way. What a delightful woman! The apartment was beautiful! More than I imagined, and was stocked with everything we could’ve wanted or needed, plus the small delights, unexpected. Truly a home away from home! The location was perfect! The location is in the center of everything and has access to anything you need to do or anywhere you need to go.

For some people who are not accustomed to the sounds of the center of the city, at some times the action outside could have bothered them. It was all about Moreno Palermo city culture for us We were fine and acclimated.

Very good stay, welcoming host and easily contacted.

Very nice apartment located centrally and within walking distance of all historic sites and restaurants.with great views of the square. Virginia organised a transfer from the airport by a kind Roberto, who helped us to the apartment with our cases and return to the airport. Host left us a kind welcome gift of fresh items and a selection of pastries which was very kind, she also explained the local area to us. The apartment has aircon which works well and was much needed. Thank you for our stay Virginia and thank you to Robert for our comfortabletransfer..

Perfect!

Everything was perfect! it was comfy, central, clean, stylish and Virginia the owner was lovely and helpful. Don’t waste your money on hotels. We absolutely loved the apartment and we walked around the city all the time. For the beach, you can take the bus right outside the flat or an Uber to Mondello beach. It was the best!

A Great Palermo Apartment

The location was great and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of windows made the apartment very light & gave nice views of the cathedral & the square. There was an enormous choice of restaurants close by, & we particularly loved Tony & Alexia, right in behind our building. The owner was very helpful & pleasant, and the apartment was in good taste.

There would have been plenty of room for a wardrobe & a chest of drawers in the bedrooms, and they were sadly missed. The kitchen was also not very well equipped. There was no grater & there were only 2 hotplates, so a microwave would have been useful. I don't walk very well and the many stairs were a problem.

Perfetto!

4 nights in Palermo before and after running the marathon. Our hostess was at the property when we arrived and let us in even though she was in the process of getting it ready for us. Perfect location - my friend could watch the marathon go past 4 times from the balcony without even leaving the apartment! Lovely, interesting view across Piazza San Dominica. Very easy to reach all major attractions and surrounded by many places to eat and drink. Couldn't have been better.

An amazing location and a wonderful hostess!

The location of the apartment is amazing! It has the most beautiful views overlooking Santa Domenica and the square, and everything in the old town (as well as the main bus/train station) is within walking distance. The apartment is delicate and clean, and the beds are very comfortable. The espresso machine was an added bonus! Finally, Virginia (the hostess) is incredibly gracious and helpful. She assisted us with many things, including a late check-out (which was very much appreciated as I had misread the departure time of our flight). She also organized very affordable and reliable airport transport. Thanks again Virginia- we will not forget you or your lovely apartment!

While it was not an issue for us, it might be useful to know that there is no lift in the building.

Lovely place to stay

Spacious, comfortable, well-located on a lively piazza, walking distance to restaurants and other sites, and on the shuttle bus route to and from the airport. The double-glazed air-conditioned bedroom made sleeping a dream in the hot weather. Last but not least, Virginia was an exceptional host.

Fantastic location, spacious with gracious host

Fantastic location on a beautiful square within walking distance of almost everything in the center. The restaurant/pasticeria right below the apartment is a MUST - great food and the best granitas we've had in Sicily (the almond is not be missed). Right at the beginning of the market, where there are many more reasonably-priced and delicious restaurants.

Beautiful apartment in a great location with a great view of the plaza. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony over the plaza. Central location for exploring Palermo and easy to reach with a bus from the airport. The owner was very welcoming

so incredibly well located, huge space, comfortable beds. Also the rooms are somewhat double insulted for noise, she has double doors on the balcony and even though you’re in the center of town it is incredible quiet. 2 min walking from airport bus.

Perfect Stay in Palermo!

Location was perfect in every way: safe to walk home even at night, central, quiet and incredible view. The airort bus was at my doorstep. The space was large, modern, clean and very comfortable. There was a heater and air con. All the major sites were within 10 min walk. I will definitely chose this place the next time im in Palermo. The host was incredibly friendly and quick to reply.

This apartment is all you want and need when traveling. Spacious, comfortable (bedrooms have double glazing against street noise), practical and clean. And the location is perfect right in the centre of town with a nice bar and restaurant just below. Virginia is the sweetest host, very welcoming. She decorrated the apartment very nicely too. Perfect place for a Palermo holiday

Very nice home in the central of Palermo. Everything is in walking distance. The bus from and to the airport is just one minute walk. You will have everything you need for your stay. Virginia is very helpful, and kind. Sure we will come back.

Light, clean, nice reception by Virginia, good coffee machine

Too strong smell of cleaning products made me almost run away at the beginning, Lot of noise in the appartment except in the sleeping room. The mattress was not for me, I woke up every morning with hurting lower back. (I am a side and belly sleeper).
