This was super cozy and a great location!

A friend and I stayed here at the end of our first trip to Japan and it was lovely. The room had a ton of space. It was supplied with everything you would need for a long stay including laundry detergent, all the shower products you would need and a fully equipped kitchen with pans, cups, etc. The neighborhood was peaceful and a nice breath of fresh air from the business of certral Tokyo. The owner was very nice and made everything a very easy process, even including nice restaurants in the area and where the closest convenience stores, supermarkets, etc were. The train station was very easy to get to. I highly recommend this place if you're staying in Tokyo!

Excellent.
Masa, the host, was very helpful with directions from the airport from the day the booking was made. I was at the accomodation 2 hours after the plane landed - quite amazing for Tokyo - thanks.
The place was as described and pictured.
The place was clean and Masa was very helpful with any queries.
Train station - 7 mins walk, supermarket - 5 mins walk and plenty of good eating places within 5 mins walk.
Next time I will book this place for longer.
Very happy to recommend.

5 Star+ Great quiet apartment close to Tokyo metro
This was a wonderful property and Nakajima-San was a tremendous host. His pre-arrival communications and maps, etc. were perfect. We greatly enjoyed the free sento/onsen tickets to soak in the hot springs after a long day of walking and touring Tokyo (try the electric bath :)!). The pocket WiFi provided was a nice bonus (saves >$10/day over At&t—gives full internet in room and in town) as was the kitchen, super handy with nearby grocery store. We used the restaurant map he gave us and the food in the “mom and pop” restaurants across street (1 min walk) were excellent! Very convenient to Shinjuku metro line (~15-20 mins into Tokyo) and also very easy to get to Tokyo Disney (we went 2 days) using Nakajima-San’s instructions (~40 mins subway+bus). Highly recommend getting a Pasmo (IC card) at the airport. The room itself was very clean and cozy. Would definitely stay here again—can’t beat the price, service, and friendly owner!!! Would give this higher than 5 stars if I could.

We loved our stay with Masakatsu-san at Tatoo ok! Onsen. The room was clean and neat and was located in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Masakatsu-san waited for us to arrive and greeted us in a very friendly manner. He was pleasant and spoke English well enough to communicate. He helped us use the Onsen which was a unique experience. The room had everything we needed, with comfy beds, a nice hot shower, and a washing machine.
The location was good because it was far from the noise of the city, but that was also a negative. It was a little farther than we imagined it would be, so it made getting to Tokyo a little long. If you plan to spend a lot of time in the city, you may want to get somewhere a little closer. If you are looking to avoid the crowds and noise after a long day, then this location would be perfect for you.
Thank you Masakatsu-san for a pleasant stay, we would definitely stay again!

Once again, thanks to Nakajima-san, I had an immensely great visit to Tokyo and Japan. Not only is the apartment nice and cosy - but the location of it considering local transportation, all necessities, and leisure/activities etc. - is simply super convenient for anyone visiting Tokyo. But the main element of making this apartment a wonderful place to explore Japan and Tokyo is Mr. Nakajima-san himself. Out of all my trips around the world, renting apartments, Nakajima-san is absolutely the best host I have encountered. I am definitively staying here next time I visit Japan.

This was our second stay at Masakatsu's place, and it was just as fantastic as the first. Everything in the room was clean and new, and we had just what we needed to have a comfortable stay. Masa was as friendly and helpful as ever and would make a great host for anyone, whether it's their first visit to Japan or their tenth. I'd also like to mention what a great little town Funabori is; everything is clean and modern and it makes for a nice change from the busy streets of downtown Tokyo. We'd thoroughly recommend Masa's place to anyone wishing to visit Japan.

Masa was very accommodating. We let him know our arrival time and He waited for us even though we arrived 30 minutes late (9:30 pm) due to plane late arrival. The manuals he provided were very detailed. We had no problem getting to the location. It is surprisingly closer to the station than we imagined. He provided pocket WiFi which definitely helped us around Tokyo. Room was clean and items were clearly labeled. No issues sleeping as neighbors were quiet and not much noise from streets - very peaceful stay and good for unwinding after a long day exploring. Very good value for price point.

We highly recommend this apartment. Information about things to do in Tokyo and how to get to the apartment were provided ahead of time.
The hot springs was extra bonus. We did not want to leave Japan. Beautiful country and wonderful people!!
We love Japan. Thank you for everything you did for us. We always will remember your place and we look forward to see you again.
Best regards,

Highly recommended. I always stayed at hotels for my trips before. But I'm boried of the same hotel settings everywhere. This time I tried this place and I love it! Masa-san the host is very friendly. The rooms are clean and well maintained, very spacious to HK standard. you have everything you need, washing machine, kitchenette(gas stove, pots, coffee maker). the best part I lovr most is the onsen just down stairs. after one day sight seeing or hiking, we just cannot wait to have a nice bath at the onsen. you can wind down and rest to prepare for the next day. the neighborhood is very safe and quiet. I prefer a quiet night of sleep after one day in the hustling downtown. it is just a enjoyable place that gives you good experience in Tokyo. and it's convenient to go to anywhere. 30 mins and you will be in the center of the city or some of the major tourist places. I can go on and on on how good it is but I guess you'd better try it yourself in your own way.

If I have another chance to go to Japan, I'll definitely come here again as it's a fully equipped apartment with a nice decoration and spacious area for a whole family of 4 persons. The host is very friendly. Above all it's just a few strolls to the onsen. The only one thing that I think it might be better if the extra mattress is thicker or firmer because after a long day trip I need a good sleep and I find that it's a bit too thin and not comfortable. Anyway I have a very pleasant 5-night stay there.

My son and I had a great stay here. It was all we needed! Easy access to Funabori st and a 25-30 min ride in to Tokyo proper. We liked it because it was less crowded and away from the center of Tokyo's busiest places. I would recommend this to anyone. Sento next store, washer in apt and dryer right next to sento was very easy!

Renting an apartment is according to my needs the best way of traveling, wether one goes for a business trip or a holiday vacation. No matter where I have been travelling around the world this has proven to become a fact I appreciate even more.
Nakajima-san - the great host of this apartment - has once again proven this fact. I have nothing else to share than pure gratitude for the outstanding service, help, contact and experience Nakajima-san offers visitors to Japan with this accommodation. I am truly happy I choose this apartment for my two weeks stay in Japan. I used it as a home base from which I travelled around the region.
The apartment is located in a nice and quiet location with great access to the convenient subway system of Tokyo. All possible amenities are available within a short 2-4 minute walk. The apartment was very clean and fully equipped to the tiniest detail - which served me more than well during my 14-day stay. Before coming Nakajima-san sent me several files with useful information which made me feel welcome and prepared. The ability to meet Nakajima-san in his office below the apartment to ask for help in different cases was indispensable. As was the access to the Japanese Hot Spring bath.
The location, the cleanliness and the overall experience thanks to Nakajima-san made this trip one of the absolute best traveling experiences I've had. I will stay here again next time I need to visit Tokyo.
Thank you Nakajima-san for this opportunity!

For my travel to Tokyo I booked a apartment of Masakatsu. It was a very good decision. This apartment is typical japanese. For europeans it looks small, but it is more than enough space for holidays. You can cook your own meal, can sit on a couch, have a big bed and more space for an additional futon, if needed. The apartment was very clean. Masaktsu gave me a very good description for reaching the apartment from the airport (very important, because it was my first stay in Japan and I cannot speak and read japanese). If I had questions before my travel, Masaktsu answered me very soon. Thats a perfect service (thank you very much for that ^^).
5 Minutes away from the apartment you can find drug stores, super markets and ATMs. In the neighbourhood there are typical japanese restaurants. Also 5 minutes away is the metro-station Funabori, where you can drive with Shinjuku-Line. You just need a half our to arrive in Shibuya, Tokyo Station or Imperial Palace. But the apartment is a bit outside of Tokyo, so it's a good place to relaxe and recover from the going-on in the downtown of Tokyo.
I hope I will be a guest of Masakatsu again in the future. It was a very nice time :)

Masakatsu was a fantastic host - always available and always willing to offer advice and recommendations. apartment was very well set out and quite large for Tokyo. kitchen was very well equipped - added bonus of coffee maker with coffee beans supplied! All in all, a great place to explore Tokyo from.

Lovely apartment is a very nice neighborhood. Perfect for one or two people.
The host, Masskatsu, was so friendly and helpful. He had packets of information about the home, Tokyo, culture, food, etc. also gave me tickets to the hot spring next door!
I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone!

This room was quite lovely. The kitchen area is a nice size and the refrigerator is also good size. Our host Masakatsu is very kind and helpful. The only thing that I did not know when checking in is that there are only stairs available to get to this apartment. Which may not matter to most, but for those with disabilities I thought it should be mentioned. There are only 2 sets of stairs, so it was not too bad and I am on oxygen. This apartment has everything needed for a comfortable long term stay and the ability to cook small meals made it home away from home. We were even fortunate to have been invited to a small gathering of the owner's friends and family and you really can't have that kind of experience in a chain hotel. I loved my stay here and I will be sad when I have to go.
