Plenty of space for our extended family of nine. Well placed for visiting a wide range of beaches and glens. Overall the weather was favourable, which allowed us to explore all over the Island.

As a large family party this was the perfect find. We had good communication throughout. Management were very informative and approachable if we were to have any issues, which there were none. The photos of the property dont give it justice. Its a place that feels homely yet special. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

The barn was tricky to find but lots of directions given which helped. The house was beautiful and could accommodate large numbers - perfect for a family or intimate event.
Good self catering details thought of but for the price, small things could be improved. There was no welcome pack of nice coffee/loaf/milk which other properties (less high speck) we have stayed at on the island have have had. Limited serving dishes, some pans had no matching lids, a cracked glass in the cupboard upon arrival, no mirrors at dressing tables for drying hair and really cheap toiletries. For such a high end accommodation, these small things would enhance the experience and would not take a huge amount to change.
We did not handle the booking process but apparently the company were difficult to work with and get hold of. However, when we were on the island, the owner was clear we could text at any time of there were problems, so maybe the issue with booking was simply miscommunication.
Overall, a great place to stay.

This home is amazing. Wonderful location minutes to Castletown and Port Erin. All bedrooms had their own bathrooms and the beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. The kitchen is well stocked and you even have a half kitchen upstairs off the living room area. The pictures don’t do the property justice. The living room, sunroom and outdoor patio are good so.w and all comfortable to gather and hang out. The property is a farm so you have animals around you. Our children loved the green space as well as the children next door: The property is gated and the yard well maintained. We will be back and the only place I would stay on the Isle of Man!

We were a group of 8 adults and were thrilled that each couple had our own full bathroom. There was enough room for everyone to have their own space or to all enjoy each other as a group. I think what you don't see in the pictures is the view. It is SO BEAUTIFUL! We spent a lot of time outside lounging on the outdoor furniture, chatting, drinking and looking at that view.
I would highly recommend this property. It is just so special and the host was available the entire time....just a quick text away.

The barn at ballagloaghtan is fantastic all round and situated deep in the countryside but with gorgeous coastal views. Easy to get to most places within half an hour, be that Douglas or Port Erin and Peel. We went for the TT and it was perfect for arriving late for the races as you’re south of the course. Will be going back to the beautiful island and amazing barn.

Fabulous holiday
It was difficult to find fault with anything at this gorgeous property. Obviously built and maintained to an extremely high standard. Silvia who met us at the property and showed us round was so helpful and went above and beyond to return an item we left by mistake before we got the ferry to return home. Very peaceful beautiful views. Fantastic.

Excellent place to stay.
For me and my family. This place was perfect. I went for my sons wedding and its not far from my sons house. We had the photographer come ro the house to take pics of all the groomsmen as it is such a beautiful place and I thought very reasonable price. I will definitely stay here again. I loved taking my grandchildren to see the sheep and baby sheep. I loved the fact that it was so roomy.

Extremely satisfied with this property. We loved the open space in the house, especially the lounge/dining room, with the bonus of having the small kitchenette attached. The beds and bedrooms were great, including the en suites, with nice powerful showers. The views of the surrounding countryside were amazing. We could see all the way out to the sea past Castletown.Kitchen was well equipped. We had to ask for some extra frying pans and beers glasses, and our host went of his way to obtain them. The only other suggestions for improvement are a whisk, weighing scales and measuring jug, but we managed to do without them.Overall we would come again, and would recommend it to any large group.

Beautiful barn conversion
As 5 uni friends reuniting we had a lovely comfortable stay in this immaculate barn. The owner was flexible over arrival and departure times and as 1 of us now lives on IOM i think we are likely to be back !

Excellent Accommodation
Excellent accommodation in a very quiet location and the pictures don’t really do it justice because it’s an amazing place with a beautiful well equipped kitchen which we didn’t utilise to it’s full potential as we mostly went out to eat. Tim the Manager was always available if required. Amazing experience

May bank holiday weekend
Beautiful property, lovely outlook, sea views and good quality finishing inside. Large kitchen had every mod con including an enormous fridge / freezer. Tim our host (looking after the Barn for Robert) was very helpful and greeted my brother on arrival at the time we requested. The double height atrium at one end was so warm due to the fab weather that the railing to the stairs had heated up. The whole barn was spotless. Only comment is that its not on sat nav so takes a bit of finding first time but its well worth the effort when you get there.

Fantastic property
The barn conversion is fantastic with loads of living space, very well equipped with nice outside space. Everything has been done to a very high standard. It was perfect for our family of 9 as there is so much space. The only thing missing was an outdoor table for al fresco dining and a decent barbecue.

A well appointed rural retreat for a large group of people
Ballalaoghtan is situated in farmland with a southern aspect below the slopes leading towards South Barrule. We found it to be a comfortable and quiet location for a large group. Accommodation is of a high standard with plenty of space and lounge areas for everyone. Highlights were the resident cockerel, rare breed sheep, views, en-suites for everyone, two kitchens and space.

Just unbelievable!
The barn is something very special. We were there for 5 days with my family and my parents. It's not only huge. Every room is furnished very elegantly and tastefully , the kitchen(s!) are fully equipped, it was very clean (I fear better than in my own flat). It was a wonderful time there.

Totally Stunning!
What a fantastic stay in a truly wonderful place!
From the initial enquiry to the end of our stay, I couldn't recommend this enough.
The owner and manager are extremely helpful and easy to lease with. They sorted out our shopping, picked us up from the airport, and were always available if needed.
The barn itself is quite possibly the nicest accommodation we have stayed in. From the flooring to the rafters, and everything in between, it oozes quality, workmanship and luxury.
There were 10 of us in our party, adults and children alike, all had a wonderful time, there was more than enough space for everybody and with gadgets and appliances to keep men women and children completely over the moon!
The surroundings are also beautiful. set in the hills surrounded by fields, with the sea shimmering in the distance. You are only 10 minutes from the airport too, with Port Erin and port St Marys only a 15 minute drive away, Castletown 10 minutes and Douglas 25 minutes away
We will definitely be booking again, and spreading the word about what a magnificent place this is!
Thanks again for making my wife's 40th birthday so special!
