Great location, great communication, clean. Shame about the parking but I guess to be expected if the apartment is downtown. Quiet. Need to walk up stairs with your luggage.

We enjoyed our stay in this space. It is laid out well, clean, has AC, the bed was comfy, and it was quiet even though we were right in downtown. We only stayed for one night, and it worked out for us to get street parking right in front. Definitely need to be able to go up some steep, narrow stairs as this is a historic building, but it wasn't a problem at all.

Room was awesome, easy to find and get into the room. Faune (our host) was a pleasure to deal with, even when I had to change dates at one time for medical reason, she was very quick to respond and adjust dates requested. Only minor issue was stairs to parking spot and room. If you have a mobility issue it could hamper you. But other then that highly recommend staying at Baker suites. You're right downtown and don't even need to see you vehicle until leaving. Walking distance to explore downtown but remember Nelson is built on a mountain side so hills are part of the walking experience. 👍🙂

The location is right downtown with parking walking distance away. The amenities really help keep costs down by being able to cook at the suite. My wife did find that cleaning was more spot that deep cleaning as there were places in the living room and bedroom she found dirty. Would still stay here in the future.

This place gets full star reviews. The one and only down side was the noise. It is not a quiet place. It was not an issue as we are up early but it's an active alley after about 7 am

The property was perfect for our short stay in Nelson. It is located in the heart of downtown Nelson among the many shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the outdoor patios! The property reminded us of places we have stayed at in Manhattan :)

This little apt was quiet despite its location on busy Baker St. It was so convenient to walk to anywhere in town. It was clean and comfortable for two. I wouldn't recommend it for more. There is no parking on property and street parking is two hour max so can be difficult. It was very clean and we'll cared for.

Perfect location to explore Nelson

Access off the main street of Nelson. Apartments are set above shops and you enter via a doorway between shopfronts. Super convenient to access the goodies of Nelson. Set back from the main street so no problem with street noise. Also as there is no apartment above there is no noise from above. Only issue is parking. As it's central and there is no off street parking you need to feed parking meters every couple of hours between 9 and 5 [free after that] and you usually can't park close during the day. There is also a flight of 20 plus stairs to get to the apartment level. Comfy inside with small but well equipped kitchen [no dishwasher]. Clean on arrival. Perfect fit for two people. I would stay again.

Convienient location

Excellent location, close to lots of great restaurants and brew spots! Loved being able to walk in town wherever we needed to go. Easy drive to Whitewater for skiing. Everything was clean and comfortable, with all the toiletries that you may need. The only thing we wished for was a chair in the living area, as my son liked to sprawl across the couch. It is a walk up of quite a few stairs (like 2 flights); we definitely felt it after a hard day of skiing! Parking is on street and you need to be aware of the time to pay the meter. Free after 5pm so no big deal for overnight parking. Overall a great stay!
