About this cottage rental
A stunning, detached house in a quieter part of Salcombe, just outside of the centre, that sleeps eight people across three bedrooms.
This beautiful, colonial-style property offers the best of both worlds, in a quiet part of Salcombe but within easy reach of the centre and its shops, restaurants and attractions. The detached property comprises of three bedrooms; two twins and a double, plus there’s a sofa bed in the TV room, all of which are en-suite. There is a large, open-plan sitting room with a woodburning stove and Georgian doors that open out onto the veranda, a well-equipped kitchen, utility room, TV room with a widescreen Sky TV and outside is a beautiful decked terrace with furniture and views across the private gardens and surrounding woodland. There is parking for two cars and a boat trailer. A stunning property ideal for a family or group.

Fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven, dishwasher, tumble dryer,
microwave, toaster, kettle.

Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
