Great house, good location and exactly as described. Richie is a great host and left everything perfect for us. Great selection of breakfast items, and a fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of space to park, and only a few mins from a bus route.

Everything! The house exceeded expectations in every aspect. You can tell it is a proper home, not just a BnB. It has a lovely, welcoming feel about it and everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are particularly lovely and well equipped with very comfortable beds and high quality bed linens. We didn't meet Richie but he called us on arrival to check if everything was ok. It is rare to find a host this attentive. We will definitely stay again.

There were certain features about the property that were lovely e.g. ceilings coving, room sizes except kitchen. Freshly painted. Central heating was good and easy to use. Plenty of ice in freezer. Clean good sized fridge. Good powerful shower in small bathroom. Comfortable clean beds/ bedding. Clean new looking carpets. Lots of nice art work. The neighbour was lovely.
The building works going on which I was unaware of even though the work was significant and impinged on the access way to the property. Overgrown hedging, which had it rained would have wet clothing as we passed out of the property. Artificial grass used on front doorstep scruffy net curtain at front window. Hall ceiling light nearly all bulbs not working. Strange smell in hallway. The kitchen was cluttered, again not representative of photograph on website. The dining area/table was not suitable for a large group i.e more than 6 but the property sleeps 10? Many kitchen cupboards dirty inside. The garden area completely misrepresented and nothing like the photographs on the website i.e overgrown, more significant building work going on, not fenced off. Very untidy and scruffy - lots of dried dead leaves littering the area, cigarette butts left in a rusty old ash tray garden chairs old and battered not representive of the photograph of a traditional deck chair shown on website. Basically a dump which was a real shame as we had fantastic weather and would have liked to have used the area. Open dirty bin in kitchen. No guidance on recycling. Wash basin tap in shower room loose and on wrong way i.e. hot and cold water wrong way round. Very slippy shower tray when wet, not obvious where non slip mat was under bath in large bathroom. Dirty waste trap under chrome plug. Poor sealant finish around shower. Broken tap on shower. Loose uneven fitting toilet seat in large bathroom. Felt the shower head, though lovely over bath, was too large to correctly contain the water, therefore did not use this shower particularly as owner had informed me of a previous leak. There weren't as many beds as had been stated in the advert so fortunate that all my friends couldn't come. Advert states 12 but would only sleep 10 as 2 single beds not 4. Dingy lighting in kitchen and top floor bedrooms. Worn dressing gowns hanging on master bedroom.

The Green House absolutely made our trip to Liverpool! The house is enormous, it's even lovelier than in the photos, and had everything you could ever need in a home from home. A lot of love has clearly gone into making that house what is now and the garden in the sunshine was the cherry on top. Will happily return here on my next trip to Liverpool - thanks so much for everything!

Nothing, it was all lovely.

I loved how cosy it was, nicely decorated, big rooms, just generally a nice space. The breakfast was great, just good overall.
The location isn't fantastic but there is many means of transportation so it's fine.

Great home to either enjoy time in, or to be able to access central Liverpool, or Sefton Park/Lark Lane area.

Facilities were great, comfy beds plenty of space for 8 of us.
Richie was on hand to greet us and was very helpful prior to our arrival.
The house is situated in a great place, just close enough to the centre but out the way to be quiet enough to relax.

Really homely. Great host. Loved the kitchen space for family breakfasts. Even managed to sit out on the garden swing! Ideal base for Sefton Park - we were there for Africa Oyé. Definitely one to book again when we’re next in Liverpool.

The host went out of his way to provide exactly what we requested for breakfast. In addition, there were plenty of tea/coffee, fruit and cereal options.
Tea and coffee facilities in each room was an added bonus.

Richie was an excellent host greeting on us on arrival and giving us all the information needed about the house and also took time to tell us the best places to go for what we wanted. The house is very quirky and very comfortable, everyone agreed the beds were the comfiest they had slept in away from home. The lounge has very comfy seating comfortably sitting 8. Lovely little sun trap of a court yard garden listening to the sounds of the birds whilst enjoying your morning cuppa. The rainfall shower was amazing. There are lots of lovely added extras too, like a drawer of chargers if you forgotten yours, shampoos, shower gels etc in the bathroom , hairdryers, iron , extra bedding.. pillows etc. The walls are covered with amazing pictures that you can buy on request. I would not hesitate to recommend The Green House or stay here again if I came back to Liverpool for a visit, which I really would like to do as 2 days just wasn't enough time to see this amazing city. Thanks for your hospitality Richie
The fact we had to leave so soon

The house was perfect for our group of friends, Richie's house is just amazing, each room individually decorated, clean, comfortable, warm and spacious, with so many quirky and beautiful pieces of art and decor. Everything that you need and plenty of little extras that made our stay perfect. Richie was responsive and helpful in the run up to our stay and personally greeted the first of our group to arrive. Thanks Richie, we would definitely love to stay again if in Liverpool

Every room had personality and the house had such character. We travelled as a group and enjoyed having the shared living space. It was a great location 5-10 mins out from the centre of Liverpool. Plenty of street parking outside. Excellent value for money. The host Richie was very helpful.
Really happy with our stay.

Continental breakfast provided which was great.Met Richie and his wife who were very friendly and welcoming, and on the day of departure Richie said no need to rush off at 10.00am which was very welcome.Lots of artwork displayed ,and some for sale so .......did a bit of Christmas shopping and bought two beatle pictures!! Walk into the centre of Liverpool took about 40 mins.On another evening walked up to the local pubs The Brookhouse and the handyman (Both great) and then had a fantastic thai meal at the Mayuree thais kithchen on Smithsdown road.Amazing choice of ethnic restaurants around the area.

Location is ideal for access by taxi to some great parts of the city for both nightlife and museums. Two bathrooms meant it was easy for us to all get ready in a morning, and there was everything you need and more to make the stay as comfortable and homely as you could want! Richie the host also had some great advice of where to visit on arrival

Very comfortable and clean
Felt unsure about the use of the kitchen and a little uncomfortable when we did during the day in case the owner wanted to use it.
