We surprised my parents with a getaway to Broken Bow. There were 18 of us staying there. We enjoyed the house, the deck, and the outdoor games. We went to the lake all day one day driving two pontoons and tubing. We ate at various restaurants and played mini golf and we bowled. Very memorable time with family!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The cabin was well stocked and clean. We did an early checkin and maintenance was there working on the AC for a few hours, but they didn’t bother us or anything, so it wasn’t a big deal to us. Communication with the host was good. We’d definitely stay here again!

Lovely spot, great views from the back deck, kitchen a bit small but functional, bedrooms excellent for a group of adults which we wanted. Very comfortable. Suggest the listing add the fact the if you want early check-in and it is available that there will be an additional charge. That was a surprise at the last minute.

We had a great time

Our family time together was great and what got us through.
The house itself not so much. Upon arriving the door handle in the master bedroom to the outside broke off in our hand. Two chairs fell apart when children just sat down in them. The upstairs bedroom with the bathroom had wasp so no one could sleep I there as the wasp were always falling on the bed. The oven and stove were HORRIBLE. If a recipe called for an hour count on three hours. The grill outside took forever to cook even after changing the propane tank. It never would get hot. The crock pot even though it said it was on don’t work. There was some sort of electrical short at the switch outside.
We would report every issue and someone would come out, there was a reason for all and they always said we will be back at 10 the next morning. Never showed back up in less I called about another issue. They would come out for that issue and never talk about the previous one.
We were awakened at 1:30 in the morning by a noise complaint that said several reports had come in we were all in bed by 11 that night we had little kids so not a late night party going on here. Houses below us were partying and shooting fireworks.

Spacious house and beautiful views. Our family was able to celebrate Thanksgiving and prepare a meal in the fully stocked kitchen.

Stairway to Heaven was an excellent choice for our family. The view was amazing. My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter had plenty of room to play. The deck had enough seating for everyone. We had a small issue upon our arrival but it was resolved quickly. The maintenance staff was very professional and kept us informed.
I would recommend Stairway to Heaven to anyone.

We had a GREAT time. On Friday afternoon of our arrival we did have an odor of the septic tank...and we did have some concern about that. But for whatever reason the smell seemed to dissipate and all was good. As far as the firewood....we bought an extra stack before we arrived and thought all that was at our cabin already belonged to us...but later found out there was already extra there. I guess what I am saying is it could be made clearer to the guest as to how much wood you get (as it seems not logical to me to have the guests count the logs they are putting on the campfire. Would make more sense to me to leave what belongs to the campers and then if they burn all of that to call the next day for more. (But this was only a minor thing. The only other drawback was no access to major television broadcasts companies like CBS...ABC....NBC....FOX....or we just did not know how to access those stations...and we had PLENTY of fairly competent folks and none of us could figure it out. Fortunately we had one in our group who was able to tap into his UTUBE account and we were able to watch most of the college football on Saturday that we wanted to see and the Cowboy game on Sunday. It might be a deal breaker for us coming back if next year we found the cabin still had not access to those stations. Thank you, Rusty Bryant

Great place for our Bible study group to get-away for a weekend.

Our stay was great just like last year but not being able to get Thursday night football kind of put a damper on that but it was out of your control. Only complaint I received was that the bathroom for the two bedrooms on first floor the shower curtain on the inside was dirty and had to be cleaned but otherwise it was great.

We had a really great experience. The house was very clean & cozy. The area is very quiet and there is lots of activities to do near by. The host was also very responsive with any questions.

Our family is split between Missouri and Texas so we were looking for a place to stay between the two with space for us all. Stairway to Heaven was perfect! With enough bedrooms to give everyone their own space, yet plenty of open common areas for us all to gather, we found what we wanted at this home away from home. We all loved it and would not hesitate to return someday if the opportunity presents itself!

The cabin was very nice. The kitchen was extremely small. If you plan to cook for a large crowd, I suggest you do most of your cooking outside or bring it cooked. We did a lot of outside grilling etc. My biggest issue was the small thing of dishwashing liquid. For a house this size and the money we paid, I would suggest you at least give your guests a 7.0 oz of Dawn Dish Soap versus a 3oz of Palmolive. Also, they have a newer stove so be sure to watch your settings or you will burn your food. The drive up the hill was very steep! The cabin is not kid friendly so if you have small children, you will need to bring a highchair and other toys to keep them busy to avoid them wanting to go up and down the steep steps on the front and back. We had a great time together, but these are some things you should be mindful of if you rent this cabin.

First time for us to be under one roof since we were very little. Was a magical place to celebrate old family and new friends. Everything was beautiful, clean, and just perfect.

The weather was touchy, however our host made sure everything went very smoothly. Stairway to Heaven is a beautiful rustic cabin. Our family totally enjoyed it. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. I would definitely go back there again. We made a lifetime of memories!

This is an annual trip we take every year for my wife’s birthday. We have seven couples includes us. This cabin is on the top of the hill and away from any other cabins. So no noise from others and we didn’t have to worry about disturbing other’s. The place is nice and big. It fit all of us perfectly. Clean and move in ready when we showed up. Would recommend the cabin to anyone with a big group. Definitely be staying again.

The booking started off on a negative note. Booked and paid for two nights. No issues until the next day when the property manager sent an email that this was”peak season” and a three night stay was required. Well if that is the case they they should be smart enough to know how to set that with VRBO. Otherwise it is falsely advertising the property. Then was rudely told to pay up or cancel. Homeowner- you need a new property manager. She is doing you no favors toward the growth of your business
The home was in a great location. However the property is a little worn. Needs some deep cleaning and fresh paint. Some safety issues with the back stairs leading to the fire pit. Wood is splintering off Also safety issues with the stairs. There is no light switch at the top of the stairs so we had to use or cell phone light to see our way down in the dark. Our guests were elderly which was difficult to get down the stairs with no hand rail on one side and phone in the other.
The photos in the website are deceiving. Taken with a wide angle to make things appear WAY bigger than they really are.
Bring EVERYTHING you need to cook including your pots and pans because almost nothing was provided.
Most frustrating was every closest door was lock. Absolutely no where to put your hang up clothes except little hooks nailed to the wall. Why does every single closet door need to be locked?
Toothpaste was still on the master bath sink and the house was picked up but I would not say clean. The roof leaked in one of the bedrooms. We have stayed in 10+ vacation rentals and this one was our least favorite. Too pricy for what you get.

It was a wonderful time by all who came.

The house was perfectly clean and ready for us. Everything was just as listed! We were so close to so many things to do in the nearby towns, but we honestly didn’t even want to leave the house. The fire pit at night was the highlight!

It was clean , quiet , and it was exactly what my family was looking for and needed. Looking forward to another trip there.

in listing it says road is steep but road isn't just steep it is falling apart. I don't know who maintains road so not 100 percent this is propertys fault but you should definitely know. I actually damaged the undercarriage on my car getting to it. house was nice but different cornhole than listed in pictures. also no way to clean grill so had to buy one dont worry i left it there so now you probably will have one. Worst of all you will not be able to communicate with property manager. I called twice and tried messaging 5 times over like two months and didn't receive any communication besides them wanting to get me to rent an extra day. it alsohas like 6 cameras. i get you are watching your property and making sure everything is going ok but 6 seems intrusive. nice but probably won't be going back.

Enjoyed the large accomodations for our family. It was close to activities, private and quiet. The only issue was with the washed out ruts in the road. We contacted the manager for extra paper supplies, said would be there in the morning but didn't show up so we purchased some.
Would highly recommend!!!

Stairway to Heaven
Our family of 14 had a nice vacation at Stairway to Heaven. It's a nice, clean property that was close to area attractions. The house temperature was perfect and those who were a bit cold had plenty of blankets to choose from. All the TVs were able to stream our favorite shows. There is a large ice machine in the kitchen, which was great to have with such a big group. The property management was quick to respond to any issues we had.
Here are a few things we would have liked to know ahead of time:
1. Be careful with the steps in front, especially if you have older adults. The steps on the side of the cabin are safer.
2. The terrain around the cabin is super steep and not really great for hiking.
3. The large crockpot in the kitchen does not work, so plan accordingly or contact them to see if it has been replaced. There is a small one available.
4. The porch is smaller than what you see in the pictures and the furniture is all wooden or metal (nothing cushioned).
5. There is a large cell tower on one side of the cabin that flashes all the time. It didn't keep us from enjoying s'mores by the fire, but it was noticeable.
Overall, none of these things took away from the precious time we spent with our family. We can't wait to check out the other properties and return!

Property was everything advertised, clean and spacious for everyone to stretch out and relax and have a good time. Any issues and concerns we had, I contacted Courtney and she had the maintenance guys come the same day to fix all of our concerns. A wonderful weekend at the Stairway To Heaven.

Beautiful View
My friends & I visited the cabin in February & we absolutely loved it! The view was amazing & the atmosphere was relaxing! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is due to not enough storage & the small kitchen. 14 adults & no storage/counter space for groceries & all closets were locked due to being personal owners closets. Other than that, it was great!

Perfect Family Location
Great size cabin with plenty of room for guests. Loved that it was close enough to town and the park that it was easy to travel back and forth, but far enough away to have privacy.

Really nice cabin
The overall experience was great. The area is beautiful and the cabin is awesome. The only negative is the overcrowding of cabins on the property. I feel that cramming cabins in every available nook and cranny takes away from the reason people go to the area…….
