Wasn’t cleaned when we arrived after driving for over 4 hours. Cabin and furniture need considerable repairs and updating. Noticed a review in 2021 that said dining chair broken and it’s still broken. Garbage cans full when we arrived and it was several days before garbage was picked up. Bedrooms upstairs were not very cool even with a/c on. There was only one a/c unit for 3 floors. Needs pest control for ants in house and rats under porch and outside basement door.

There was a small problem with the satellite reception but the owner was on the problem immediately! The problem was fixed quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful scenery, quiet and peaceful. Beautiful home, well furnished, kitchen well supplied with cooking equipment, utensils, dishes etc.
Made for a great vacation hope to be able to come back.
Excellent host

We had a great time. Our host was prompt at answering any questions we had. The property was very spacious and had lots of games already there as well as an air hockey and pool table which we used daily. There was also a hot tube but we didn’t use it. The views were stunning. Thanks for the great getaway.

Perfect spot for a mountain getaway!
The hot tub was out of commission but no fault of the owners. Other than that, great trip and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful Christmas while staying in this cabin. There is plenty of room for everyone! We were a short drive away from Helen so we could go and enjoy some shopping and see the lights. Even though it rained during our stay, the game room kept us entertained. I would love to come back for another stay.

Was awesome we all had a blast

Stayed at the cabin for family Thanksgiving get together/vacation. Enjoyed Blairsville, Blue Ridge and Hiawassee during our stay.

Even though it rained all weekend, we had a great time. There were plenty of activities for everyone.

Very nice cabin with a great view. Enjoyed the pool table, hot tub and fire pit.

House and area is beautiful. The satellite is very spotty and the internet slow, but those are minor flaws. My only disappointment was the trip ended too soon. Oh. And the Wednesday trash collection never happened. The bear-proof space was full when we arrived and no one showed during our stay to empty it..

We loved our stay and would recommend it. It had everything we needed. Everybody had space and the bed is amanizgly comfortable. Views are beautiful and i loved the sunrise.

The location is perfect! Vogel State Park is right down the street, and they have BBQ's, tables, a small beach, paddle boat rentals, etc. We love to spend a day there. The cabin is about 30 minutes to Helen, and about 45 minutes to Blue Ridge. The house is clean, and well stocked with kitchen items. Walmart and Ingles are about 30 minutes away to stock up for meals, and the Weber gas grill works great. Internet is a little spotty, but that is just the way it is up in the mountains. We were able to stream movies using my laptop and Netflix/Amazon Prime accounts. This was our second stay here. The host responds quickly. We had a couple small issues, but she was quick to respond and take care of it. The views are amazing here! I highly recommend this rental. But please don't tell too many people so we can have open dates next summer!

Property was secluded and quiet. House had more than sufficient household and kitchen items. Just bring food and drinks. Saw a bear, deer, armadillos, turtles, bunnies, and firefly's every night. spectacular sunrise views. washer and dryer was a bonus. spacious and comfortable. plenty of games to keep you busy. house was clean. drive up to cabin is an adventure and would recommend suv or truck. drive slow as road is only wide enough for 1 car and also saw bear and deer on the drive up. road is gravel with a steep grade and curvy road. close to helen georgia and recommend taking the scenic route by helton creek.

Even though road to cabin was narrow was still easy up and down, not much people down or up. If you looking to see bears it’s a hit or miss, we saw one. Few things could take some TLC but besides that it was perfect. And if you looking for a beautiful Mountain View, this is perfect cabin for that early morning coffee or to watch storm roll through.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The kids had a ball in the game room. It was very peaceful and even though it rain the whole weekend we still enjoyed ourselves. The drive up was kind of rough but made it up and down even in the rain. The hot tub was enjoyable as well. The bedrooms doesn't have TVs in them. Master bedroom could use new mattress. Slide door to the deck leaks really bad when it was raining. But most of all we did enjoyed ourselves.

This was our 2nd year here, and we love the remoteness of the cabin. Very clean, owner responds immediatley to any texts. Amazing cabin and great pricing. We bring our dogs and they enjoy it as well.

Peaceful and private. The layout was perfect for us. Games by the fire and amazing views on the decks. The location was close to state parks and a beautiful drive to Helen. Truly a wonderful getaway cabin!

We very much enjoyed our stay! The house was cery clean and had all we needed. Has an amazing view on the porch! The roads were a bit more winding than we expected having mountain experience (one very sharp turn for a crew cab but we made it just had to be careful). Check in and out was very easy. Location is very central to a lot of things to do. Overall we had a great time! Thank you!

We had a great time and loved the cabin!! Would def stay again!

We had the best time! We weathered -18 wind chill with a low of zero, pipes froze but Elle was responsive and helped as much as she could! Despite the weather and no water for a day we still had a wonderful time and knew that was a risk when we went due to the weather. We will definitely be back!

The home is lovely, comfortable for a large group, and full of fun things to do—hot tub, pool, air hockey, games, etc. The drive up to the house is not for the faint of heart, however. Very tortuous road!
4.8
This was one of my bucket list things to do. This cabin in the mountains did not disappoint!! THE VIEW! Is just spectacular. The house itself was warm and cozy but so much room for activities. The beds were extremely comfortable. The drive there was a little scary but doable in a truck or suv. If you are on the fence about booking don’t be. The town of Blairsville was so quaint! And Jim’s bbq was to die for!

We loved the cabin. Plenty of room and entertainment. We had everything we needed.

Very nice cabin with a beautiful view. Great place to disconnect and relax.

The weather was great , the scenery was beautiful from the house. We all thought the accommodations were better than expected! We took advantage of the waterfalls that were fairly close by. The family wedding was about 30 minutes away and we were a little concerned about the road to the house at night but we had no problem. We thought it would be exciting to see a bear but only saw what we thought were signs that one had been there ! It was a great getaway!

The pictures don't do the view justice!

The property was perfect. Everything was really clean. We had the best time and can’t wait to do it again.

This was a great location for us, as my in-laws live right in Blairsville about 10 minutes from this cabin, so they were able to visit often and easily. This cabin has everything you could need for cooking. The views are amazing from the two decks. There are plenty of beds, and the 4 baths were definitely nice to have with a large family. Showers are hot, and A/C is cold. Others commented about the treacherous drive there, and I do agree there are a couple tough spots, but nothing most vehicles can't handle, especially in lower gears. There is one hairpin turn towards the top. We had to do a three point turn there, but only because we rented a really long Ford Transit. A car, standard SUV or mini-van would not have an issue. It is a little steep in places, but you can always see the road when traveling up or down, so it really is not bad. The teens really enjoyed the basement game room with air hockey and pool table, as well as a mini-fridge and bar top for drinks and snacks. There is a TV down there as well, and large couch and table with chairs for board games. The door down there goes out to a flat spot on the driveway that was perfect for cornhole, supplies for that in the game room. The owner was responsive to a couple of questions we had. Internet is a little spotty, but that is just the location, it is not a complaint. In fact, it is a good excuse not to answer emails! Because of the perfect location and how comfortable this place is, we are going to intentionally try to get this same cabin next summer. Highly recommend!

Beautiful mountain home
Secluded, clean, well furnished cabin. Elle is the greatest! We saw deer, a bear (several times), raccoons, and many other wildlife...no one was ever in danger, lol. Back decks are perfect sunrise viewing spots. So many great hiking trails and waterfalls nearby. We'd definitely return, especially in the fall when the colors turn.

Relaxation
I traveled with my granddaughter, her husband, and their three sons. (ages 3,6,8) The stairs were too steep for me to use more than once. The younger set had no trouble. We loved the hot tub, air hockey, and pool table. There were a raft of different things we enjoyed that the owners had anticipated our needs and provided.

On Top of the World
We had a wonderful stay! The view is spectacular and the surrounding area made us feel that we were on top of the world.. The property is very quiet and secluded. We enjoyed seeing a black bear twice and a momma turkey with 9 babies during our stay. The house was roomy and our young adult/teen kiddos loved the basement game room! Be sure to read the description and the reviews. There were no surprises. We had no issues and communicating with the owner was easy. I used the VRBO app. As stated, the wifi is weak, but we had good cell reception at the house. The drive up to the house was a bit daunting and steep, but our mini van made it with no problems. Be sure to get there before dark though.

We had a wonderful time in the mountains. The view was amazing and the house was very accommodating. The kids lived in the basement the whole trip when we were at the house due to the pool table and air hockey table downstairs. The house was perfect for our family and everyone had plenty of room and we weren’t cramped on top of each other.

Amazing sunrise views!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well stocked. We took the backway in a couple of times and got to see 4 black bear. The cabin is very remote feeling but its a quick trip to get into town. Though it said gps might not be totally accurate, we were able to get there very easily. The staff at Pappy's was so accommodating to help us find a couple of places where our dogs could party in the river. The food at Dan's Cuban Restaurant was on point and though its a bit of a drive, Grumpy Old Men Brewery is awesome with a very friendly staff and also dog friendly.
