The little apartment was so lovely and cosy. With the hidden bathroom and the original beams. We also booked and ate in the restaurant downstairs. I would highly recommend doing this. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great and the staff are very accommodating and friendly.
Some of the outside area was a bit worn out and could do with sprucing up but at this time of year I appreciate that is difficult. The bed was a little hard when sitting on it but better once laid down. They are the only down points and that's really nit picking because both issues did not bother either of us and did not affect our trip.

From when i walked through the door , the staff were so friendly , the young lady was so attentive and showed me to my room. Showing me the hidden bathroom and the amazing room. So glad i stopped there ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Maybe the tv needs a small upgrade but I’m not being critical as it was all amazing

Great location and lots of character. Staff were lovely.
A little bit dusty/cobwebby in parts of the room. Wi-Fi was v poor. We had to leave earlier than routine breakfast time and they weren’t able to give us anything- even a bit of cereal or something to take away. The outside space leading to the room was rather unkempt and overgrown.

Nothing. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay

The room was lovely with period features
All the staff are friendly and attentive
The breakfast was very generous and well cooked individually
We would have liked to have an evening meal there as the food looked wonderful
The parking on the road was free but we arrived at a busy time and had to park a distance away
The accommodation whilst excellent was reached by stone steps outside and would be difficult for those with limited mobility

Breakfast was mindblowing
The only thing would be to have a curtain for the glass wall in the room please!

Food and Breakfast was excellent, bed was very comfy and a lovely room

Big spacious accommodation, huge comfy bed, roomy shower/loo. Ample tea and coffee, reinforcements promptly provided on request.
Good food, substantial for tapas - order frugally until you can judge against your hunger!
Long and complicated climb to it up successive flights of outside steps - no internal access to restaurant level. Bag carrying provided but a bit nerve wracking for the elderly and questionably fit - especially after dark, despite lighting.
Very old property, well updated given historic building rules. Car parking easy when we stayed.

The customer service was Exceptional. The setting and decor were stunning. We will be back.
Tea & Coffee tray was dirty. Bathroom door didn’t shut and shower leaked.

Excelent breakfast, food and wine. Beautiful room

Room clean & tidy but the bathroom could do with touching up ie grouting around the bath. tea & coffee set up under the eves of the room could do with repositioning elsewhere, the room would benift from bed side lamps or the ability to switch main lights of from the bed. The breakfast was amazing quality & quanity and great coffee. The chef was well informed, very passionate about his food and service.
We had an evening meal which we would recommend. The service staff knew all about the food and what complemented each dish. The Tapas arrived in a steady flow full of flavour and piping hot. Pricewise no complaints the quality of the food was outstanding

I really had a lovely break
The room took a long time to warm up, the weather was really cold and the radiator in the bathroom didn’t work. I was disappointed that the ice outside of the restaurant and on the steps up to the room hadn’t been gritted, it was a little dangerous

Great friendly staff. Quite quirky.
WiFi although free was not strong enough to be used in the rooms.

Great room very quirky.
Breakfast ranks alongside the very best that we have ever had in hotels costing double or even treble this hotels room rate.
We had a meal in their tapas restaurant too and that is exceptional.
Around the bath was a little tired and could do with some TLC

Spacious room, comfy bed. Fantastic breakfast. Stunning walks in the hills close by.
Room a little bare- could have done with second bedside table and lamp- and a mirror in the bedroom

Lovely location, bonus of amazing restaurant downstairs (you must book in advance for it) Staff were great! Forgot they had a hot tub, next time we will take swim wear! Only negative/constructive comments are a shower mat would be useful (when stepping out of the shower) and although breakfast was fantastic we sat in the dark eating it! The other side of the restaurant would be more ideal.

Beautifully decorated and spacious room. Fantastic stand alone bath. Went well with a nice glass of wine from restaurant downstairs after a full on day. I ate at the Tapas restaurant. Delicious food. Young staff seem very new and some are inexperienced but doing their very best to deliver tapas plates to customers on a busy night. And extremely friendly and welcoming . Very kind and helpful with my luggage.
Delicious breakfast.
The room I was in was directly above restaurant and would benefit from some floor insulation. Appreciate though it's an old building and all was very quiet at end of night. There are several other rooms with improved insulation I believe.

The food was incredible. Delicious tapas dinners, creative and tasty and fantastic value for money.
Cooked breakfasts were absolutely lovely. Set us up for the day. Staff very friendly and can’t do enough to make sure you’re happy. 10/10
