About this apartment rental
Our quaint beachfront units are directly on the beach, with no roads between the rental and the ocean! There are 5 units in the complex, and they all share a semi-private beach area. It is an upper level unit (with no one above you), and has a huge private balcony spanning the west side of the unit, perfect for sitting out and enjoying the view! Each of the units has a full kitchen with all cookware and utensils, microwave, dishwasher, and stove. Wall unit AC.

Location was ideal. Away from the noise, just down the street form Buccaneers. Right on the ocean for body surfing, boogie boarding or surfing when the whim arises!

I would definitely stay at this place again. Super easy to get to, clean, way easy to check in and check out, and the view cannot be beat. I cracked the window open to fall asleep to the ocean waves and wake up to them. I loved sitting on the porch next to the fire. I’m definitely keeping this on my list to come back to.

Great location. We stayed in unit 3 and the patio/balcony was the highlight of the apartment. Place as very clean and well equipped. Unit had a bit of a stale/damp smell that are common in places so close to the ocean but small price to pay for such a great view and falling asleep to the sound of waves every night. Aside from the area right outside the units, there isn't really a beach area to walk. There is a public access beach right down the road. It wasn't an issue with us, we never wanted to leave the patio/balcony! The other 3 units all share the common areas but again, it was never an issue with us. Everyone was nice and respectful. Overall, it was a great stay at a great property. Great location. We would stay again!

It was a great place to stay. However, we were not able to utilize the outdoor common areas as the other guests had their wet clothes and towels on all the furniture outside. Other than that we enjoyed it.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this property. The only things I did not give 5 stars was the cleanliness because when we opened up to use the pull out couch to watch TV (because the coach is very small and not comfortable enough to sprawl out and watch TV / the ocean view), it was clear the bed sheets hadn't been cleaned in a while as there was sand that came out. There was clean sheets provided in the master so we just used those instead. The pull out coach bed is horrible and we actually ended up using just the mattress on the floor. I feel bad for whomever actually has to sleep on that one day. No matter for us, it was just myself and my son and our beds (especially the master bedroom) was very comfortable. The condo itself is very loud due to its age. You can often hear the wind banging against the walls of the property and banging against the sliding doors which literally woke us up the first night several times. The next few days weren't so bad. We loved hearing the waves however crashing on the shore. The other issue was that communication with the automated text system the property manager has set up is hit or miss. Sometimes we got replies, and sometimes we didn't. Our questions didn't require any type of emergency response or anything so it didn't affect out stay, but that was one of the questions asked in the survey. The parking is extremely tight. We have a Toyota Prius and it was so tight that one of us had to leave the car to exit before parking so we could fit the car in the space. Good luck if you have anything bigger than that. The view and the patio is why I booked the property and that was very good. The only thing we thought could be better is that if you're sitting on the porch in the regular chairs on the patio, you can not see the ocean through the lattice type fencing they have on the porch, so we used the bar height chairs instead so we could see. A glass enclosure or similar would fix this. We were in walking distance to Carlsbad beach area (if you want to walk 2 miles) which was fantastic as they have many shops, restaurants, etc. to enjoy. Our dog was not allowed on the Oceanside or Carlsbad beach where this property sat, so we took him to the Encinitas beach which did allow dogs. We would definitely stay again if we couldn't find other properties that satisfied our needs.

Some things need attention, but for the price, this place does not measure up. Would have been ok at 1/4 th price. Very over priced for the quality of the condo. I do not recommend.

Beautiful setting and location
Beautiful setting and location however the unit needs some repairs. The heater was not working nor was one shower. We also are not aware that there were bunkbeds in the second bedroom. The property management company was quick to respond. That location was just what we hoped for right on the ocean with beautiful sunsets and a great balcony!

One of our favorite Oceanside stays
We’ve stayed at a Beachfront Only property 4 times this year and they never disappoint. This property was great for just my husband and I. Cozy with great views and ocean access. They always provide everything you can possibly need. This was especially the case for us to make a nice Thanksgiving dinner. They were also responsive via text on Thanksgiving day. Special thanks to Nancy who helped make this day possible for us. She is truly the best!!!

Great location, good property
Loved our stay overall at the property. Location was fantastic, parking was pretty good, furniture inside was very nice. We enjoyed mostly the patio, mainly because of the view & nice beach chairs out there.
Some feedback for the managers would just be general upkeep of the property. The bathrooms (especially the showers) are needing an upgrade/maintenance. Pressure was extremely low & drains didn’t work super well. The grounds were just a bit out of date & some of the gates didn’t close. The pictures just make it look a bit nicer than it was.
Overall we really did enjoy our stay. The beds were nice, there were plenty of blankets & towels and the views/location was phenomenal. Loved going to the Buccaneer Cafe right down the street and loved the ocean sounds and views.

We stayed with four teens. Most of the beach part was already occupied by other renters so we spent most of our time on the patio. Apartment had everything we needed!

Needs updating
Overall the property is okay. The view is Awsome. The place is well stocked with kitchen ware. No dishwasher soap, we had to go buy from store. Air conditioning not working in living Room Management replaced it with much smaller unit and it did not cool the room. The wall unit was a terrible job , they need to work on that to make it look presentable. It looks like they just tore the old one out wall. Showers need updating. Water pressure is low. Needs a New Barbecue grill. Only the middle grill is working. Cleaning crew needs to clean the grill maybe on a weekly basis. The walls on the balcony was peeling off in chunks on one corner it looks terrible, the light on the patio does not work! Overall we enjoyed our stay, aside from the stuff that needs work, it was okay.

Two sets of grandmas and grandpas (two sisters and their husbands) vacation in Oceanside - one set takes the bedroom with a view to the ocean and one set takes the room with no view and a bunk bed. Both sets of grandparents are near or above 80 years old, which was disclosed on the forms that were filled out prior to the trip. The bunk bed definately did not work out. One grandparent could not get up to the top bunk and the bed on top was too low to the bottom bed to be able to get in and out of the bottom bed easily. It is actually not possible to enter the ocean from the property as there are big wet rocks in the way, so all that was able to be done was to listen to the waves. The property needs updating and even though it is a rental, anyone who can afford to pay the rental rate is accustomed to more updated living conditions. Most of the interior and exterior wood is rotted or damaged. When in the lower bed of the bunk, one sees soo much sap coming out of the wood frame of the top bed that it is disgusting.

Unit was exactly like described online. Worked perfect for our graduation dinner. Would definitely stay there again. Don’t love the idea of sharing patio but this unit has its own very large balcony. Few recommendations for improvement would be taller stools on balcony to see over the blocked railing. Another few chairs in living space and showers had almost NO water pressure. Very hard to wash hair.

Everything we could hope for and more!
The location of the property could not be beat! As listed, the property is right on the ocean, stocked with everything you could need, from pots, pans, plates, cups, cutting boards, to towels, bed linens, and a washer/dryer on site. The unit was spacious and clean, and the property included ample seating areas inside and out. One bedroom has a king sized bed, and the second not pictured has bunk beds, with a pull out sofa bed in the living room. The beach is very rocky and the waves can get rough, coming right up to the steps leading down to the beach during high tide. We still played in the water during low tide and had a blast. Bring water shoes, boogie boards, and enjoy! If you are looking for a sandy beach, you'll have to drive a short couple of miles away to the pier. Parking was tight in the small garage, but we made it work. Overall, we had everything we needed for adults and kids to have fun without ever leaving the property and will absolutely come back to stay again!

Ocean connection
My favorite area was the patio and connecting with the ocean. It was perfect for spending time with family and plenty of space. for everyone. Enjoyed watching surfers and dolphins. Well stocked and had some spices that came in handy. Highly recommended.
