This 2 BR, 2 BA luxury cottage unit on one floor has an ocean view from the balcony, and is just steps away from the beach. The unit boosts custom cabinets, granite counters with stone backsplash, stainless appliances, wood-look porcelain tile floors, upgraded carpet, furniture, and bedding. It is gorgeous! The living room boasts a 65 in Samsung Smart TV. The bathrooms have travertine stone walls, counters, designer trim, and custom cabinets. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, and cooking utensils for the chef in your party.
Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. The Living Room TV is provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless Internet.
The "A" Building has its own heated pool and spa, barbecues, laundry, and table tennis. Of course you also have access to all the other amenities of North Coast Village as well. The landscaping surrounding the A Building has just been re-done, and it is gorgeous!
Ocean View Paradise is located at North Coast Village, an oceanfront complex between the Oceanside Pier and the Harbor. You'll have access to amenities such as billiards, ping pong, a fitness center with sauna, and a barbecue area overlooking the pool. You will find reserved garage parking, cable television, a recreation center, clubhouse with kitchen, massive stone fireplace and cedar walls, as well as laundry facilities. Visiting my daughter stationed at Camp Pendleton. Didn’t have enough time to enjoy the pool or hot tub but the place was very comfortable, extremely clear, and well stocked with the basics (towels, fans, kitchen, etc.) The road noise is pretty intense at times but I knew that going into it. With windows and doors shut it wasn’t bad. Close to base and beach. I enjoy walking and didn’t mind the half mile stroll to the main drag (restaurants, shops). I’d do it again.

Stop searching and book this one! We traveled to North Coast Village A12 Driftwood Dream Cottage for a big family vacation! There were 9 of us traveling, my husband and I, our five kids ranging in age from 6-20 and my husband's parents, in their 70s. I knew I wanted NCV, so I reviewed just about EVERY unit available in this resort, from every available rental company. We ended up booking three units, all from different companies because no one rental company had everything we wanted/needed for the three units and our big group. My husband and I, and our two youngest kids were in the A12 Driftwood Dream Cottage and DREAM is an understatement, this unit and experience was PERFECT. I would absolutely book here again. The other two units we rented were "updated" but this one was QUALITY updates. Everything was updated professionally and tastefully. There is no AC, which I was VERY worried about, but it was not an issue, it got hot at times, but the breeze from the ocean was perfect (we stayed in the month of June), and the unit had more than enough fans, and high quality fans, that we were able to stay cool and comfortable. The view is beautiful, the walk to the beach is EASY, it's also to a nice flat part of the beach, vs. a rocky spot or a spot with a big hill like you get in other areas of this stretch of beach. The rental company was helpful and professional, although we did not need much. The extra amenities like beach chairs and a cooler were SO nice and convenient. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful, full kitchen, filled with light condo. We enjoyed a 10 week stay with easy access to the pier, harbor and farmers/ sunset markets. We barely scratched the surface of things to do. So we will be back next year.

First things first, this rental was a great place to get away! It was so easy to get comfortable in the unit, once checked in. Although the check in instructions were concise, it was annunusual check in experience. The location couldnt be much better for a get away, with beautiful views and easy a short walk to the beach. We were entertained with ping pong and the pool tables. We found ourselves needing to unexpectedly extend our stay one day; we were fortunate enough to make quick contact and were able to extend our stay (so much better than having to stay in a hotel).I recommend staying this stay to anyone and hope to go back.

This place was great for my family. Awesome kitchen that was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils. The living space was comfortable with a couch and four comfortable chairs. There is a deck with 4 chairs and you can see the ocean on the other side. Parking and accessing the unit was easy. We used the pool, jacuzzi and laundry room. I’d stay here again.

Overall it was a wonderful location and very clean place to stay. Our only issue was with the King Size bed bedding was covered in black hair and stained sheets and so were all of the wash clothes in the kitchen. We found additional bedding that we used to replace the bedding and didn't use the wash clothes.

We’ve stayed in this beach house for years now - great place and a great location. We consider it a second home!We did have to keep receipts of when we originally booked because our bill (and a few friends who used the same company) was much higher when it came due then when we originally signed. They made the bill right but it is something to keep an eye on!

Being able to stay walking distance to the beach made it easy and convenient with small children. This is a beautiful unit and our kids loved the bunk beds and having their own tv in their room. Beautiful, lush landscaping throughout! We would definitely stay here again!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The check in process was kind of a pain just because we had to go to a different building and get our keys. We were traveling with little ones so they were restless. Everything else was great. Super short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome place- clean and spacious. Very nice breeze at night and I am generally a hot person. Pools, grills, shopping and food all near by. Every morning there is a lot of noise around 7am- however we just got to the beach earlier. Awesome place to stay we will definitely be back. Thanks for a great week!

The main element that we noticed on the first day was that any kitchen equipment needed for cooking or tools was at our fingertips. The property was well equipped and kept it simple when preparing meals or snacks. The service staff was accommodating and professional and recognized our needs, and we were well taken care of during our stay. It was a pretty noisy area due to the garbage trucks, but that is a city issue, not the property

We enjoyed our stay. I have rented several units at North Coast and this was the first time they did not have our name on the list for check in. Not sure what the miss was but Douglas at the guard station was very helpful as I had all my confirmation information with me.

Overall a pretty good stay and a nice place. The check-in process here is a little bit of a pain and more time-consuming than any other VRBO/Hotel I have ever stayed at. For the price of the stay I expected better furniture, amenities, and bed than was provided. Communication overall was professional, however, I had to email to get the check-in documents sent to me on the day of the arrival. Still overall a very nice place--I would stay again!

The unit is lovely with the best-equipped kitchen we have ever had in a vacation rental. The unit was very clean and well stocked with paper and cleaning supplies. The manager responded promptly when our coffee maker died by delivering a brand new Cuisinart the next day. This is the quality of service we have come to expect from MMV. They are the best. Unfortunately, the location of the unit is poor. It faces the street. Dragsters with engines roaring day and night, garbage and recycling pick-ups at early hours, and default location for service vehicles all right in front of the master bedroom and the LR balcony.

This is our third trip to NCV this year, we have loved the ambiance, location, ease, security, cleanliness and fun the property has to offer. In regards to this condo- top notch, view was incredible place was impeccably clean and we wanted for nothing. Utilized the towels, kitchen, smart TV, beds to the fullest and the beds are comfortable and not too crammed in the rooms.

Absolutely loved this place, right on the doorstep to the beach, spotlessly clean. Everything you could need in the property, the only one thing that I could suggest would be a clothes airer/dryer for those clothes that can not go in a tumble dryer. There is also a sofa bed, which I don't think was on the listing, but was a great surprise for my older son as he wasn't best pleased about sharing with his younger siblings. We travelled from England and stayed in a few different places and this was by far the best out of them and we wished we had of stayed longer at this property instead of the others. If we ever come back to oceanside, we would 100% stay in this property again.

The rental is beautiful, the pictures truly don't capture how nice it is. So many amenities in the unit. We really didn't need anything, it was all provided from games to every possible kitchen utensil. The parking spot is pretty close as well. My only complaints were the ants and no A/C. The fans provided did help some but it was still very muggy.The ants were annoying, we saw them more in the master bathroom. You literally can't leave anything on the floor or counter. They got into my makeup bag and clothes. The kitchen, I only saw a couple but we were very cautious to have our food protected. We did have a nice though, the staff were friendly and helpful, even when we called about the ants, they were able to give is direction to alleviate some of the stress.

The resort and property itself were both fine. The unit was well appointed; there was virtually every kitchen accessory one could possibly need. Our family liked the decor and setup. Everything that was said to be there was there. Aside from portable fans (which were super dusty and looked like they had not been cleaned in awhile) everything was super clean and in working order. The pictures do the unit justice. It is a really comfortable unit and there is nothing to complain about with the unit itself.
The resort is a bit confusing with its winding paths and lack of directions on where to go. The laundry room in A building is on the garage level, but relies on wifi....which due to its location, one cannot get a signal. Load up your money in the app before you go to laundry room and things work much better.
The biggest issue with the unit was the noise due to its location. If you want a peaceful vacation, this is not the part of the resort to stay at. Since no units have A/C, you need to have windows open most of the time to get the unit cool. That leads to a ton of noise because of the street outside the unit has a lot of traffic. Either motorcycles, loud cars, or noisy people...you hear it all. The trash collection also takes place on the street. They roll the dumpsters out from the garages and line them on the street. The dump trucks then are processing them out in the street....and there are a lot of dumpsters and thus a lot of heavy metal banging against heavy metal (and not the musical kind). The landscapers do a good job...but they also tend to do it at 8AM right outside your window.
If you are not going to be in the unit a ton or trying to sleep or watch TV with the windows open, then you will be fine and you will love the proximity to the beach. If you want some peace and quiet, choose a different unit.

Fabulous!
We had such a wonderful time at this condo. The location was incredible, a block from the beach and also two pools and two hot tubs we could use on the property. We walked everywhere and there were lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. The condo itself was clean and cosy and had everything we needed. I’ve been on many vacations over the years but for some reason Oceanside keeps popping back into my head and I just long to go back there. I would whole heartedly recommend this condo, we cannot wait to go back.

Wonderful location!
The location of the condo was amazing, just steps away from the beach. The property was very clean and organized. As a mom of 2 young kids that touch EVERYTHING and COVID still around, I have high standards for cleanliness and this property really met my standards. The only downside was that the property has no stroller/wagon accessibility but it wasn’t a big deal for us as there wasn’t too many steps. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would come back.

Very clean and beautiful. Walk out the gate and you're at the beach. The road can be a bit noisy. They did do the trash one day but it wasn't break of dawn. The ants are for real, DO NOT leave anything on the counter... Its hilarious how the appear. Overall Very relaxing . Everything in the kitchen. Pots, pan, pie plates, cake pans, mixer, wine glasses and opener, I believe there was a blender, beautiful plates and glasses. Beach chairs and umbrella. Our truck fit in the garage but would never have fit in the parking space. Parked in the front parking lot with permission of the guard and it worked out great. Very nice property. Would recommend it very highly!
