Location, restaurant ,staff all great
We found the beds a bit hard for us as a personal preference

Lovely staff, good location for us, good room size for a family of 4.
The illuminated fire exit sign inside the room! Got zero sleep. That sign should be replaced with a glow in the dark sign or nothing at all. The pullout couch could do with a topup/new mattress as it was very sloped.

Staff extremely attentive, meal lovely, full English breakfast nice but nota patch on a full scottish
Entrance is overgrown with flowers which when wet can make it a bit uncomfortable

Good food, pleasant bar area. Friendly staff. In a lovely area.
Bed hard. Narrow stairs not suitable if you are elderly or struggle with balance. Bar can be cold as hotel entrance opens onto bar and can be draughty.

Lovely pub, room was clean and food was delicious. We had an evening meal and also breakfast.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Lovely pub in a remote location. Staff was lovely, room very comfortable and food delicious. Great value for money. Would highly recommend.
Website said the room had a hill view. Unfortunately this wasn't true, the hills were hidden by a building.

Unfortunately we had to leave before 8am on Saturday morning therefore the formal breakfast was not an option but we were given a selection of cereals and pastries to eat in our room.
Tv positioned at side of room and noisy fridge in cupboard

Friendly host
Small double bed with rock hard mattress no duvet and flat pillows. Bright green light lit up room. Myself and my husband had no sleep at all.

Check in was easy, the room was spotless and the staff were very friendly, courteous and attentive. Delicious breakfast and warm welcome from Lyndsey, one of the owners. Thoughtful attention to detail. The small fridge in the bedroom for milk is helpful. Lovely to see a pub working as it should be after the trials of covid and lockdowns.

We had a lovely stay including dinner and breakfast: everything was spot on! The staff were very friendly and the room was spacious.
Our room was a bit too hot for us.. we were there in the very hot summer and the room did not cool down much at night even with the window open. This was our only negative thing though and I’m sure on a less hot day the room would be perfect!

Location great, nice quiet area, staff very attentive, room nice and clean, food was lovely we had evening meal and the breakfast was as good. Would love to see the fire in all its glory.
The Doom Bar ale was off and not very nice, the bartender changed it straight away, but it might pay for a tasting test before offering?

We decided to have our evening meal here and it was delicious. Unfortunately the service was a little slow.

We had a great stay at this hotel which is in a village outside Worcester close to the birthplace of Edward Elgar. The room was very fresh, clean and comfortable, the food was excellent and the breakfast was also great. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and there was a good choice for breakfast.

The room had everything you could wish for from a B&B, the breakfast was lovely and very accommodating for myself who I would class as rather fussy. The staff were all really lovely, helpful and friendly. The garden was really nice and very child friendly.

beautiful pub and lovely setting!
Bed was rock solid (mattress) not comfy. Shame the pub was shut (for food)after 6pm as we did not arrive until 7.00pm. Light outside our window was a little disturbing.

Cooked breakfast was delicious. Staff were very helpful - eg in providing extra pillows for my wife with a broken arm.
No advance warning that the kitchen would not be serving food on the evening we arrived (because of Mothers’ Day!)

bathroom lighting for a woman putting on makeup was outstandingly good. Tried really hard with little extras like fresh milk in the fridge , water bottle replenishment, large soft towels, location to Worcester but ‘out of town’ . A very clean room . breakfast plentiful and welcoming staff members.
bath did not have a plug which whilst unimportant to us, might have been a questionable omission to others
