Beautiful grounds. Delicious breakfast
Our bedroom was rather small with a small bed which was underneath a built-in storage unit. This felt a little claustrophobic. There was only a bedside ‘table’ (it was actually a cubie-hole) so nowhere to put a glass of water/phone for the other person.

Perfect loaction
Unfortunately I have food poisoning whilst staying at this hotel and it was not taking seriously..promises of a follow up were not actioned!
4.3
The location, staff, history, food! Was all amazing! Family of 4! Stayed in one of the family rooms and it was very comfortable and had what we needed!
I expected more from the spa in terms of pool area. All there is is one pool, sauna and massage rooms!
4.3
The breakfast was good, a good selection and excellent service throughout. The property itself is located in a lovely area and catered for both our needs.
4.3
A beautiful old hotel in stunning Gardens. It had a nice spa and restaurant.
We were rushed through dinner. We also were never asked how we wanted our steaks cooked and they were overcooked which was a shame because it would’ve been a delicious dish.
4.3
Nice pool and spa. Excellent restaurant.
4.3
Absolutely everything was fantastic, rooms, food, service & facilities. All the staff from reception to restaurant, bar & housekeeping could not have been friendlier or more helpful
Steep stair to a room for our elderly family were a little tricky, but my fault for not checking when booking
4.3
Excellent location, stunning grounds, old and new blended well, beautiful property
Loved everything, lots of history
4.3
Rooms, Manor House it's self and gardens
Service was a bit hit and miss
4.3
The property is situated in lovely grounds a short drive to Stratford upon Avon. Great location lovely hotel.
The pool / spa facilities are only small- that is the only negative. Unable but on the small side.
4.3
Lovely location, amazing old Manor House and beautiful grounds.
We stayed in the new block and the room was disappointing. Apart from the fancy headboard it was no better than a premier inn room. Shame as the cost merited more than that.
4.3
The room was nice and large with great facilities. Generally good but I don't feel the price justified it.
The staff weren't very polite and seemed very abrupt and standoffish. Reception seemed unwilling to help and complained when having to solve issues- even when we provided the solution. he food choices were restricted and the choices available were expensive.
The beds nice but again not what I would expect for the price.
My travelling companion visited the spa and felt that the staff again weren't overly polite, welcoming or helpful. Reception seemed unwilling to help and complained to the customer they were 'helping' when having to solve issues. The shower shampoo dispensers in the spa were all empty (first thing in the am).
4.3
The staff.
The location.
The all round cleanliness and presentation.
The food and our room.
4.3
We had to change our room due to steep stairs and this was handled superbly by a gent on reception named Pip.
A very professional and courteous member of what is a great staff team.
Super location and tremendous gardens .
4.3
Historic building, quiet location, clean and well maintained, comfortable room, friendly staff and good spa facilities.
Restaurant evening menu was limited although quality of food was good, choice was limited.
4.3
Beautiful grounds, comfortable bed and great restaurant for dinner
Steam room wasn’t working, no apologies from the spa staff, sauna was tiny and spa facilities aren’t matching the price tag.
Breakfast wasn’t great, had to wait 20 min for coffees to arrive and it’s a buffet style with limited options
4.3
Great reception staff, very helpfull. Amazing setting, very close to many attractions, and Stratfford town, but has a very private location. Great quality of food. Would like to mention one of reception staff Florin, who was especially helpfull throughout our stay!
4.3
The Manor House is just that. Beautiful old building sympathetically modernised to accommodate all you would expect from a top class hotel. It’s history is well maintained and a pleasure to have experienced.
The only proviso being you certainly need to be able bodied to negotiate access in some areas. However there is provision to assist people’s needs.
The period features and fixtures and furniture are all outstanding
We didn’t have any criticism. The only thing I would comment on is be prepared to pay above normal rates at the bar and food. Example being a bottle of wine could cost anything up to £40. But the experience overrides the cost
4.3
Dinner was good. Staff were friendly.
Although plenty of staff, bar area staff weren't attentive.
4.3
The staff were great in sorting out a different room without any hassle including when I had to return to reception at the end of the evening to recover some stuff inadvertently left there.
The Barn room I originally booked. Might as well have been sharing my room with the bloke next door - think I’ve seen thicker paper than the dividing walls.
4.3
Breakfast was very good, dinner was good too except the starter was very very small
The size of the mackerel starter
4.3
It was so clean and such beautiful spotless grounds. Had a fantastic couple of days and amazing weather too, so just perfect. Staff were all so friendly and polite.
Nothing, loved it all
4.3
- no customer care rigid jobsworth mentality - and putting price up after confirming stay and price - poor
staff need more training
4.3
Room was excellent as were the staff, very efficient and friendly. Food supurb
4.3
wonderful location and history. lovely staff.
No lifts. Need a porter service.
4.3
Friendly and polite staff.
Clean rooms.
Warm and welcoming.
Breakfast was yummy.
Nothing everything was perfect.
4.3
large grounds for dogs, clean, rooms spacious and cosy.
4.3
Beautiful room and excellent food
As it is a spa I would have expected slippers in the room. It is winter and I had a choice of boots or stilettos neither of which I could wear to the spa. Very stingy on tea and coffee in the room only 1 bag/sachet per person
4.3
Breakfast was fabulous, perfect start to the day.
Nothing really, except that we had to state what time we were coming down for breakfast, though that's understandable as the hotel was very busy.
4.3
Evening meal was ok but only a choice of around 5 items. Long queues fir breakfast even though bookings had to be made. Seemed short staffed and even after chasing a couple of times the tea and coffee for breakfast ever turned up.
Room was quite noisy. Sounded as if drains were being cleans at midnight and room was very hot even with radiators turned down. There was a portable fan that could be used in the room though.
