The comfort and beauty of the place are the best but nothing compares with the setting. You will love it!

This surpassed all our expectations for a relaxing week.
We awoke to the morning sun coming up over the blue ridge, drinking coffee and planning our day in beautiful Asheville. After a long day discovering North Carolina we loved coming back to The Barn sitting in the Hot tub over looking the tree lined cliff.
The host is fabulous and responsive to any questions or needs.
LOVED EVERY MOMENT

I stayed here with my now wife as a mini honeymoon and we were thrilled with the place. The posting really doesn’t capture how great the space is. There is a fully stocked kitchen which we did not expect and that was great. The property managers were very communicative and wonderful to deal with. They even refill the hot tub between guests which was very considerate. You really can’t beat the view it’s amazing we loved our time there and definitely plan to be back at some point. Cant say how amazing the space is. You feel so secluded but you’re 10 minutes or less to the heart of downtown so it’s so convenient.

We had a great stay. The house is great with lots of nice touches. The view is wonderful and even though there are houses nearby it feels very private. A romantic stay for a couple. The property management was incredibly responsive.

Loved staying at The Barn and definitely would love to go back! The location can’t be beat…the property is gorgeous and the views are stunning. Had absolutely every amenity I could ask for in a mountain trip. Couldn’t be more pleased!

Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. The view of the mountains and valley below was picturesque. The property was clean, updated and well stocked. We would stay there again and highly recommended to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

Secluded, unique mountainside retreat 10 minutes from downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Spectacular views, including from the bathroom shower and outdoor hot tub. Very comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen with gas stove, and reliable, high speed internet. Two smart TV’s for those rainy days. We had the pleasure of meeting Dan, the owner, who gave us a personal history of “The Barn” and how he renovated it to its current condition, which is amazing. Obviously a labor of love for him. We look forward to returning someday. Highly recommend!

The house is very roomy for 2 and had everything we needed. The owner built us a fire outside to enjoy during out stay. The views from the house are incredible, don't miss the sunset or sunrise. I would describe the house a warm, cozy, comfortable and relaxing. You are within an hour drive to the Smokey Mountains and 10 minutes from Asheville which is full of shopping and restaurants.

Well designed. Private and relaxing.

Adorable mountain house located so close to all Asheville has to offer. Very well decorated and appointed. Clearly the owner pays attention to details. We were there during a very unexpected cold spell and the owner came to help us warm the place up within an hour of my call. We will def plan to return.

Thank you so much for your exceptional hospitality and making everything so special upon our arrival. The home is lovely and exceeded our expectations. We easily accessed what we needed for simple meals, but also enjoyed your restaurant recommendations!
So comfortable - and the VIEWS from the breakfast room, the living room, and the shower made it all the more unique. Thanks for making our getaway truly WORTH it.

We arrived to soothing music playing on the surround sound speakers. There were battery operated candles throughout the bedroom. The hot tub was perfect. Everything was nicely arranged from the lighting to the music. We will definitely be coming back to stay again.

Very clean! Lighting ambiance was great! Hot tub, towels, robes, great experience. Fabulous sunrise views from bedroom with morning coffee.
Parking was a bit tight to turn around. Nice pre-prep for the fire pit. Location was great, approximately 10 minutes from town. Need better lighting for putting makeup on in bathroom. Overall great experience!

The caretakers do a great job of setting a warm cozy environment. No detail is overlooked and the setting is just fantastic. We felt very comfortable here and it was perfect setting to relax and recharge. Takes about 10-15 minutes to get into town, and the view is magnificent! The lighting throughout the home is great and romantic. The bathroom and shower area is very nice. The cabin is an excellent space for a bottle of wine, some popcorn and a movie!

Upon entering the property, it was instantly relaxing. The lighting and music that was playing ws so calming. It is obvious the owners of the property have put a focus on creating a relaxing atmosphere. I was impressed with the photos online, but this place is much better than the photos online. The check-in and check-out process was quite simple. There were so many options for lighting, you can set the perfect atmosphere and ambience. All the light switche were labeled to eliminate confusion. Plenty of bath linen for your stay and comfortable robes to wear to the hot tub. Great view and a fairly easy to find property. I would recommend this property to couples or someone who just wants a relaxing escape. I found this place by researching best of North Carolina lists. The owner contacted me prior to my arrival to inform me the property was available for early check-in, which is rare. I will 100% return to this property, likely multiple times per year.

My wife and I had an a mazing time at the Barn for a weekend getaway. The Barn is by perfect; romantic, clean, beautiful views, and filled with amenities. The barn is just minutes from downtown Asheville so the location is great. We will be back again soon, we love it!

My husband and I loved everything about “The Barn”. The cabin itself was comfortable and well appointed, not to mention the views were incredible! We loved that it felt so isolated yet it was still close to town. It was nice to have a full day of hiking and come home and relax in the hot tub and order door dash. We saw a bear on the patio and some cute chipmunks. Overall, an excellent vacation. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely time, had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. Loved the shower. We even saw 4 bears. Would definitely recommend.

"The Barn" was the perfect getaway just a few minutes away from Asheville. The house and the scenery were perfect. Can't wait to come back.

My wife and I traveled from Baltimore to enjoy all that is in, and around Asheville. The Barn(nothing like a Barn actually)offered us the peace and tranquility we always look for when vacationing, but also gave us close proximity to everything in the area. The distance from the Barn to the local attractions is not far, but the winding, twisty road up and down the mountain takes a little longer than one might expect. However, it is a beautiful drive, so watch out for cyclist's and enjoy the moment.
The house is a real labor of love that the owner Daniel restored and redeveloped into a living space showcasing the old original stone structure with modern amenities, thus giving the guests a feeling of luxury as well as being part of the natural beauty that surrounds you from all sides. It is the perfect size for two people and close enough to everything, but also perfect for doing nothing more than having a glass of wine and staring into the valley below. The morning view when you wake, was breathtaking and different each day, painting a memory that will remain with you.
Daniel had the house ready for our scheduled arrival, and we were welcomed with soothing tranquil meditative music upon our entry, which really set the tone for the stay. Daniel kept in touch with periodic texts informing us that he was there if we needed his help with anything at anytime, but we were comfortable, and with no need to bother him during our stay, he respected our privacy.

Wonderful secluded getaway. Very comfortable. Everything is here for a comfortable cozy and modern amenities stay.
Great location next to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Ashville and so many more things to do.
We enjoyed going into Asheville for food and entertainment, driving and hiking on the Blue Ridge it was a fantastic get away.

Where to begin…fantastic hosts! And the view and uninterrupted sound of nature was breathtaking. Pulling up to a beautifully landscaped oasis, the “barn” was the sweetest looking home. We stepped out of the car to a wooded wonderland where 10 or so butterflies greeted us and hung around the entire time. The fresh herb garden was such a fun surprise as well. The entire front of the house is all glass windows that will leave you speechless. The open floor plan, well designed kitchen, and the oversized open bedroom was incredible. But the walk-in shower that had an unobstructed view of the mountains was so romantic. We had incredible weather so the fire pit was much appreciated at night with the bubbling jacuzzi on the treehouse-like deck. And wait until nighttime where all of the beautiful solar lights sourrounding the property come to life; just gorgeous. No surprise we will be back! Best weekend getaway we have ever had!

We had such a great stay on this unique property. The views from the location are amazing. It was the perfect place to decompress and re-energize. We visited The Biltmore while we were there (only a 20-30 minute ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway). Hot tub was very relaxing and CLEAN. The Barn had everything we needed, including pots and utensils to make an easy dinner. Definitely a 5-star property.

My husband and I loved everything about this house. The layout is spacious and comfortable, the view is stunning even in the rain and the town of Asheville stole my heart. We will be back and hopefully stay here again!!

Everything about the listing is accurate. Wonderful place for a couple to retreat to the mountains. Cabin looks east, away from Asheville. Very pretty view at sunrise. Hot tub is terrific and so is the host. Very responsive and sincerely wants all guests to be happy. Highest recommendation.

The listing pictures absolutely do not do this home justice. It is a beautiful place and the hosts provided so many extras for our stay. The views are immaculate and property is only a 15 minute drive to anywhere downtown.

The Barn is a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations. It’s a cozy spot for those rainy evenings and great location to all outdoor activities that Asheville/Buncombe County has to offer.

Beautiful, wooded location with everything you need for a getaway. Close enough to take advantage of all that Asheville offers while still feeling away from it all. Friendly host was very welcoming and responsive.

Excellent stay in secluded home. Enjoyed late night fires and hot tub under the stars. Beautiful mountain sun rises the norm at this home. Excellent response for any needs from the host.

Perfect for couples just trying to get away! Every aspect of this property is private and romantic, owners only reach out if we had questions and were very accommodating! Beautiful views that pictures would only put to shame, also great food in the area, but everything you need if you wanted to stay in! The hot tub was even pre heated before we arrived! Definitely going to be back

Secluded and nice; driveway is a little scary, but that's what you get being on the side of a mountain.

Wonderful experience staying here! It’s just a beautiful place and very unique. Lovely view and close to town and restaurants.

The Barn is an wonderful little getaway cabin. It's perfectly sized for 2 people. The views are amazing. The hot tub was perfect in the evenings after dinner. We were blessed with a few inches of snow, which made the views and hot tub even more enjoyable. It's only 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, but it feels very private and remote. You aren't surrounded by other houses. Check in, check out, and communications with Danny and Anna was super easy. Would definitely recommend the Barn for a romantic getaway.
