Adembenemende uitzicht op het meer en vallei! Het appartement had vanuit alle hoeken prachtig uitzicht: tuin, vallei enz. Zo mooi, open en gezellig
Eigenlijk niks! Het bed had iets groter gemogen?

Narnia is situated at the top of (gated) Estuary Heights so has really wonderful views not to mention some fabulous sunsets. The pool house where we stayed for six nights was very comfortable with two ensuite bedrooms. The house is decorated and furnished beautifully and feels like a real home from home. The kitchen was well equipped and also has the benefit of a washing machine which we were really grateful for. The outside terrace, overlooking the pool has comfortable outdoor furniture and a massive dining table. The pool is large and has gently shelving steps making it easy to get in and out of. The gardens at Narnia, which guests are free to use, are absolutely beautiful and are a tribute to the owner and, Timothy, the gardener, given that the house and gardens were so badly affected by fire only three years ago. Timothy's wife Flata was also very kind and did some ironing for us and also made us some delicious biscuits. It was lovely having daily housekeeping to make the beds, clean bathrooms and some washing up - we felt very spoiled. Knysna, and all it has to offer is literally a 10 minute drive away including an excellent supermarket and lots of great restaurants - Freshline Fisheries and East Heads Cafe were top of our list. All in all, we had a fantastic time at Narnia and if we ever return to Knysna we would definitely try to return there.
We did have a problem accessing Estuary Heights (which is gated) when we first arrived. This was mainly due to there being a power cut at the time we arrived, but after that we had a fob to let us in and out of the gates so no further problems. There were several power cuts whilst we were at Narnia which obviously the owner has no control over, but the rain water collection system at Narnia which we wholeheartedly approved of, meant that during power cuts there was no water. If you make it your business to find out when the power cuts are going to be then you can plan for this.
