Very nice having so many separate bedrooms and baths. Hard to find actual house because roads and driveways look the same. Maybe add you drive thru 2 hairpin turns before driveway. Lots of nice outdoor decks to sit on. Remote but close to town. Not familiar with use of lockbox so that took awhile.

This home is extremely comfortable for large parties. It is conveniently located in a quiet semi-rural area, less than a 15-minute drive from downtown. All amenities and accommodations as described and pictured on the listing.

Great family getaway for a wonderful weekend in Asheville. There was plenty of space for our multi generational family to relax and enjoy. The ping pong table entertained the kids while the adults sat on the porches to enjoy the weather sitting in the shade of the trees. Multiple bedrooms easily accommodated a family of 9. Conveniently located near the Blue Ridge Parkway and downtown Asheville allowed us to easily spend a day exploring the beautiful overlooks on the way to Mount Mitchell summit while enjoying some dinner in downtown later in the day, The Property Owner was very responsive and able to help us with any questions/amenity needs we had. I would recommend this as an excellent place to stay for a wonderful family vacation.

Overall, a great property and was within 10 minutes of everything we wanted to do. The house was a little hard to find at first with GPS as the driveway was on the other side of the house. Warning, the last 5 minutes of the drive is a narrow lane up the side of a mountain with switch backs.

Got together with my siblings and their spouses for a long weekend. House was perfect setup to allow for gatherings and for privacy. Conveniently located and in great condition. Being on mountain side made for great scenery but somewhat scary ascent by car. Kitchen well stocked with needed dishes and some supplies. Quiet and restful with lots of outdoor space including fenced yard and playground equipment. Would definitely return.

Spacious house with 5 bedroom, 3 baths, and plenty of hang-out space. Not far from downtown.

My family attended an event at the Biltmore and this house was the perfect place to house all 8 of us for our NC visit. Spacious house for a group. Although we didn't spend a ton of time at the house due to being at events, I know that it would be the perfect place to just hang out with family and friends.

My husband and I brought are moms to Asheville for a visit to the Biltmore and the a quick trip over to Bryson City to ride the Polar Express. This was the perfect location. Just a short drive to the Biltmore. The house has everything we needed. We appreciated the extras like coffee, creamer, and sugar.

This house is great for family stays in Asheville. Situated up on a hill, it has space for game time, gathering, a large communal kitchen opening up to a dining room and fantastic outdoor spaces. Check in was a breeze and we were very happy with the house!

We had a great time and stay for a wedding in Asheville. The house has an older rustic or even eclectic mountain vibe but was still clean and fresh. We definitely embraced its charm from the squeaky staircase to every little hidden nook it offers.
One of its biggest perks, is how spacious it is which was important for our group. It was also pleasantly more private than we thought but still a short drive to the city.

Listing was accurate to the T. No surprises. Beautiful spot, plenty to do. Host was top notch and very responsive. 10/10 would recommend.

The cabin is not in a good condition and very outdated. The fans were very creeky and the stairs to the basement were not in good condition to go down and didn’t seem stable. There were many bugs in the cabin, cockroach and moths found in the bathroom. The sunset view was not really visible as stated. Kitchen was good but not many utensils. Overall we did not think the cabin was being maintained well. It was an okay stay, somewhat disappointed. Location was the only best thing about the place. Cabin needs a lot of improvement.

The space was great, plenty of room and had everything you’d need. Scenic and quiet

the dishwasher ran but did not clean the dishes. the draft vent was unplugged... when we figured that out to use, the vent went up and right back down continuously. It was of no use while cooking as any smoke sent off the smoke detectors. it would have bee nice to know that the oven was undersized as we tried to feed 10 people! It would not hold a full size pan. tp holder upstairs falling off wall.. we replaced many light bulbs.. you probably already know that the flooring is soft in many spots.

Enjoyed our stay. It’s up the hill so easier to find in the day time.

This property met all of the needs for my friends and I when we stayed here. We would rent again the same location but had just two recommendations: (1) Please check your lightbulbs often for those that are burnt out and need replacing. There were at least 6 bulbs needing replacement across multiple rooms. We would have been happy to replace them ourselves if lightbulbs were available. (2) Please invest in having the outside of the property sprayed for insects. We did not have troubles inside but found several wasps lingering over the covered porch. Aside from these recommendations, everything else was great. The property is super spacious inside. Thanks for a great stay!

It was really good to be at the house with my family , the view of the mountains was beautiful and the house contained everything what we needed

House was spacious. Nice large well stocked kitchen. Bathrooms clean and updated. Stairs to lower level a little scary in that the railing was wobbly and steps deep for children. Had great entertainment amenities. Plenty of space to get some alone time. Yard fenced in and playground was a hit with the littles. Screens and patios could use a good power washing. Plenty of parking.

Lovely, cozy weekend getaway spot. Would highly recommend. Easy communication with owner. Would love to stay here if we come again!

Of space and is bare bones for decor but suited out purpose very well.

Several of my students and I were in Asheville for a taekwon-do camp. The house was perfect. We were able to be together, keep track of the younger ones, and be very comfortable during our off time. I hope it is available for our return trips. It was far superior to a hotel experience.

Great getaway
We were visiting my husbands family in Asheville and rented this house nearby. It was a great location, huge house and nice amenities. We attempted the car puzzle but failed.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was filled with games, ping pong, karaoke machine, and lots of extras. The road to get there was kinda treacherous, it would be good to have a suv or truck to get up to the house, but it was a 10 minute drive to downtown. The house was very spacious and came with recommendations in the area. Would recommend.

Very clean beautiful house with awesome sunset views. We were able to fit 8 of us comfortably, didn’t use the sofa bed. The beds, except for master bedroom, are small if you need to fit two people. Super fast internet and TV already had streaming apps. Beware of rough access road, we didn’t experience any ice/snow so it was fine.
Kids enjoyed the playground although it needs a little maintenance.
Silly drawbacks: no dishwasher soap available, only one extra TP for 8 people wasn’t enough, and only one paper towel roll for 7 day stay wasn’t enough either.

We needed a place in Asheville that could accommodate our party of 5 adults who were visiting to celebrate my father-in-law's 95th birthday. In that respect, this place was perfect. We really just needed a place to sleep. The house is very spacious, big kitchen, big living room, two decks outside and five or six bedrooms, at least three bathrooms and a big backyard. On the down side, the place is in serious need of updating. The road up is long and steep, and the road is very narrow and rutted in some places. It's the last half-mile that will require your full attention, but other than that, it's an easy drive to downtown Asheville. We didn't do any cooking there, so I can't comment on the appliances. If you're looking for a showplace, this isn't it. But, if you have a big group that needs a lot of space and you want privacy, this is a great spot. I would highly recommend it. Also, the owners were very responsive to our needs.

We had a wonderful stay for an annual friends getaway! Plenty of room to spread out, great back yard - we set up a volleyball net. The beds didn't have any blankets - which was weird and maybe a fluke - but just something to note for the owner. Otherwise, would definitely recommend and would stay again!
