About this house rental

This home is located on the East Central End of the island. It features 4 bedrooms/ 4 Bathrooms. It has a large kitchen with an open living room. Both Master bedrooms and living room have beautiful views to the beach. You will love the large kitchen with the open floor plan. Tile through out the home. The living room opens to a large covered back porch with plenty of chairs to relax and watch the kids play on the beach or in the pool. The pool has a water fall feature with a mural mermaid and fish in the pool. The pool has a pergola for those who love the shade. The pool is heated to 84 degrees in March, April, May, September and October. The Pool is NOT heated in November, December, January and February. The waterfall feature and pool heater may of may not work at the same time. Sorry, No Smoking!, No Pets! Smart Tv's are provided in the living room and bedrooms. Internet is provided. Cable TV is no longer provided. You will need your own streaming account.

Quiet, clean, great location. Be certain to bring paper goods, dish, hand, trash bags, and laundry soap. TVs in living room and bedroom were a challenge to operate. Overall good experience.

Overall the house was perfect and the property manager was an amazing helps especially considering we had to deal with an evacuation due to the hurricane. Loved the very open floor plan as well as the two king bedrooms with bathrooms attached. We always look for a pool and this was one of the biggest we have had on the beach and the nicest. If I could improve anything I would ask for better cooking gear such as pots, pans and cutlery fore families like us that cook as opposed o going out nightly. And even though there has obviously been a focus on safety about the home I would add non skid strips between pool gate and stairs on the concrete as well as from outside shower to pool and deck stairs due to how slippery it gets. But overall it a 15 out of 10 and I would definitely rent again.

If you want to truly to getaway and relax this is the place to do it. The accommodations are always incredible, the owners are the best and always stand by what they say they provide and beyond. And no matter what your questions are they are always great and considerate to answer so your vacation goes over great! The location transports you into a state of complete calm. We've been renting here for year's and never disappointed!

Great house in a great location. Little things could make it even better given the amount that you pay to stay there. The two chairs in the living room area are very uncomfortable (you can feel the springs). We actually bought new frying pans to use since the ones supplied were in terrible shape with the non-stick coating peeling off. The king bed in the front of the house has worn spots in it. When we swept the house before leaving we were surprised at the amount of dust bunnies that we found. This house has so much going for it, it is definitely worth the stay if these thing are addressed.

Polka Dot Bikini is a cool place to stay, beachfront with your own private boardwalk to the sand, gorgeous ocean view, swell pool, 4 lovely ensuite bedrooms, generous great room, pretty, well-stocked kitchen, awesome back deck. All around well maintained. We throughly enjoyed our stay!

We got lucky and the weather was warmer than usual, so we were able to heat the pool (additional $300) and spent every day on the beach and in the pool. Do be aware, there is very, very little commerce on the island, and the dining was less than ideal, so bring as much as you can from home (or stop at Costco in AL, as we did, along the way ;) )

This is one of the most well thought out homes we've ever stayed at, there layout is perfect for families, plenty of room beautifully decorated, cleaned very well when we arrived, if I had a question they were kind and quick to respond. The pool was beautiful right on the beach even down to how the layout of the exterior was. I honestly can't say enough about this home well worth it. Thank you to our host

We have vacationed on SGI every summer since 2008 and this is The Best!! home we have stayed in. This home was everything the description says and more! We were there when Tropical Storm Fred hit Port St Joe. The winds were powerful, reported of sustained winds at 50 mph and a gust that reached 73. We could barely tell the wind was blowing because the house is so sturdy and strong. I will stay here again!

Everything about this property is perfect. Location could not have been any better. The beach right off the house is far enough from the large public area to keep it from getting crowded. The people near us where the people staying in the neighboring houses. We never had anyone within 25 yards of us on either side and no one in front or behind us on the beach. The layout of the house is perfect. We had 6 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of room. The outside is even better. At the bottom of the stairs off the deck you turn right and your a right and your on the beach, turn left and you are at the pool. We had coffee every morning on the deck and every morning we were joined by dolphins roaming the sandbar. Highly recommend this house.

Our family has been coming to SGI for many years. We love the area and all it has to offer for people of all ages. Our stay this year at Polka Dit Bikini was one of the best. The house is so nice with lots of amenities and a fantastic location! Each day we were there, the kids would say "this was the best day ever"!

This place exceeded our expectations. It was gorgeous, spacious, and you can't beat the location. We rented bikes for the week and biked virtually anywhere we wanted to go. The house was spotless, with comfortable beds, plenty of pool, and beach toys to use, and we had the most relaxing week! We definitely hope to return!

This is the perfect spot for a beach getaway with family. It was just what we wanted to relax, unwind and have fun. The open plan layout was the perfect concept to keep the family engaged with each other when not on the beach or in the pool. The kids had a blast. The island is very quiet and thus as a visitor you have to respect that. Bring games for the kids and equipment to go fishing. We had a good time fishing on the pier or old bridge. We got up early to witness the beautiful sunrises and watched as the skies displayed its beauty with the changing colors. Walked on the beaches and feel the sand shift beneath your feet. Just awesome. The Polka Dot Bikini comes equipped with just about all the amenities you need. Whether you want to make a meal or pickup a meal. The bedrooms are huge and having your own bath is a plus for each bedroom. I would definitely recommend this vacation home., for location, amenities and ease of communication with the property owners/management. There was no maintenance issues with the property on our visit. Definitely a must visit.

Perfect place for Fall Break with my family. Great location. The beach was very accessible with the private board walk. House was clean and nicely laid out. The kitchen is nicely stocked for cooking. There was a Keurig for coffee. Check in and out was awesome. The pool was great, even had a pool guy come by a few days. Trash picked up on time (a huge change from home). Overall I will be booking again. Owners were great in response time.

The house is very nice and well maintained. The bedrooms are large and the kitchen had the important pots and pans as we cooked all our meals due to Covid19. The property owners were very responsive to questions and answered them quickly. Some of the living room furniture may need to replaced as they were worn out. The only negative was the letter to give us the details was very negative vs welcoming. It had a lot of things in ALL CAPS RED and how many ways they can kick us out or charge us for things. I realize that stuff must be stated and important, but I would suggest a better way to list those items. Besides that little thing -- the house is fantastic and the beach was wonderful.

Location is wonderful. Open floor plan is nice. There were a few maintenance things that I suspected they didn't know about. They addressed the The bathrooms are my only "issue". Shower stalls are tiny and the shower heads dont have hand hold options. I'm not overweight nor particularly big...and the shower was squishy.

Was the perfect little house right on the beach. Very clean and so cute! The Owners have definitely thought of all the small details that really made the house a great place for a home away from home! Each bedroom has their own bath. Loved the porch with plenty of comfy chairs and a swing! Oh, and the location is great. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for sharing your home!

We had a great time. The house was great. Everything as listed. The living room and kitchen were very large. Loved having a bathroom in each of the bedrooms except bunk room. Pool was a great size. Loved the shade area. Plenty of room to park. Would recommend and hope to be back again.

Great location, great house and pool. Just as advertised. We normally stay in the Plantation when visiting St. George but loved being closer to the restaurants, shops and bridge. Great vacation even though the last night we were received a visit from a tropical storm.
