Get your Cabin Time on! Our wonderful Cabin Time Vacation Home is available once again after a long term rental hiatus Covid April 2020-April 2023! Now families and friends are able to once enjoy our newly updated lodge style vacation cabin. Just 20 miles from the Bavarian town of Leavenworth, it is situated in the Whispering Pines area of Plain & walking distance to the shores of Lake Wenatchee. A stroll out the front door offers strolling choices of either turning right out of the drive way to head up the hill for breathtaking views of Lake Wenatchee and Nason Ridge or turning left to cross over to North Shore and peek a boo views of the lake and pass by lakeside cabins.

The property itself is situated in a peaceful setting of cedars, vine maples, and wide open spaces with plenty of level parking and easy access no matter what the season. The cabin offers a 2 level wall of windows making for absolutely spectacular sunset and twilight viewing of Dirtyface Mountain. See for yourself, whether you are relaxing in the upstairs cozy TV loft area or socializing in the downstairs great room, the evening view is serene.

Our family was instantly at home in this cabin as it was very clean, well laid out, and overall pretty much matched the online description well. The hot tub was wonderful and we made it a point to take a dip at least once a day. The kitchen has the basics that you need to cook pretty much anything. There's a little loft room at the top of the stairs with a nice big tv that turned out to be a favorite hang-out spot for our family. The master bedroom is upstairs and has windows on three sides. For about 1/2 our stay there was a steady breeze that flowed through that room and made it the most amazing place to relax. The other two bedrooms are downstairs and are fine. One of them has a bed that's too firm for our tastes, but the other two beds plus the bunk in the master are comfy. There are fun games plus a nice portable bluetooth speaker. The location is quiet other than the occasional semi driving by. It's not quite as private as it looks at first. There are homes on two sides and while there is a decent amount of tree's between them, you can definitely see through to the other properties. It's totally fine, but just don't expect totel seclusion. There's a walkable neighborhood if you take a right out of the driveway. Lake Wenatchee is AMAZING and just 12 minutes away to get to the swimming area, while Leavenworth is just a half hour away. Overall this was one of the best cabins we've stayed at and would definitely come here again!

One of our weirdest VRBO experiences! First, the code was not sent to me 24 hours prior to arrival. I was under the impression that the host thought the website would send it, but it did not. I had to request the code the day of arrival which made us a bit nervous. Upon arriving, my daughter was excited to sleep in the loft bed. She came downstairs very discouraged, saying the bed was full of crumbs and there was a piece of pepperoni on it. So, we spent our first couple of hours of vacation laundering the bedding. The first night we realized we weren’t alone. There were mice in the ceiling above the two downstairs bedrooms that made falling asleep and early mornings.. exciting. Finally, this was the first time we had ever stayed next door to the hosts. If you’re looking for privacy, you won’t get it. We had four interactions with the host (who was pleasant, we were just looking for isolation) in the four nights we stayed. She came over and introduced herself the first evening. The second time, no garbage bags had been left in the house so we reached out to her to see if we were missing where they were. She had forgotten to put any in the cabin and couldn’t get us any until the following morning. So we saw her when she dropped of the bag (at our request), then again when her dog ran over as we went out to take a walk, and then again when she came over to take the garbage out to the road. Nice place, but don’t expect isolation.

sad and disappointed in this place, they ruined my birthday and made my friends who come from California have a horrible stay, the host is an arrogant and racist person, we had a reservation from July 15 to July 17 and the day Today, the 16th, he ran us off in the worst way. We entered yesterday, July 15th. We were 4 adults and 4 children, 2 of them were under 2 years old. Yesterday, the 15th, at night, 2 more friends arrived to celebrate my birthday. We were very happy, so much so that there was a room to spare and it was easy for us to tell them to stay so they could drive at night today, the 16th. They were going to leave since they were just visiting. The host arrived and told us that there were more people and Since no more cars were allowed, we tried to solve it but we couldn't. He gave us an hour for the visitor to leave and we then decided to go spend some time at the lake. We tried to have breakfast together and we packed our things to go to the lake. When She was already in my car to leave, she arrived very upset, we explained to her that we were leaving and she started yelling at us, we are Mexican and we tried to communicate with her in the best way since our English is not fluent, and she ran away telling us that we had 10 minutes to for all of us to leave, very sad we had to leave, we spent more than 2 hours in the car looking for a place to spend the night, our children were very bad in their car seat, here it appears that we entered on the 14th and it is a LIE

The place was beautiful and clean just as pictured. It has great window treatments in the bedrooms- sometimes short term rentals don’t put up good blinds or shades and you get bright sunshine as soon as sunrise. So this was not that- yay. Some minor complaints- the AC was a portable window thing that only cooled the first floor living room. Even with the bedroom doors open, it got hot at night. The beds were hard and covered with those squeaky waterproof covers common in rentals. I have two toddlers have waterproof covers on every mattress in my home. None of them are the plastic squeaky ones. I wish they’d pay a little more for a for comfortable experience. They didn’t provide body wash. They had a two in one shampoo conditioner that we made due with. They did provide some other things like toothbrushes and makeup remover wipes. The lack of body soap was kind of odd. All in all it was good and quaint and a great place to crash after a day at the lake. I would return for snow activities but perhaps look for somewhere else that is cooler if returning in the summer months. The host was super communicative even when we messaged her late at night about the wifi password. Thank you!!!

Nice clean cabin. We had trouble getting the address and check in instructions in a timely manner (we received then AFTER check in time and only after calling VRBO support because we couldn’t get ahold of the owner. The cabin was as described, nice, clean and roomy. Very close to neighbors. It is right next to a busier road. All in all I think we’d choose somewhere else to stay next time.

My family and I loved this cabin and the location, it was perfect. The town of Leavenworth is not far but we picked this location to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and get away from the crowds.
