Warren was great! Had a couple of hiccups that he fixed immediately. Would recommend staying here⭐️
Would also recommend adding tv in second bedroom.

Duplex is exactly as advertised. Nice, clean, and nice safe area. River rafting is within a mile. Harpers ferry lower town is a mile hike on Appalachian Trail. I would stay again if in the area.

The house was spacious and we were able to easily fit 6 people. The host was flexible and able to make some last minute accommodations for our stay.

House was perfect for our stay. Very clean and tidy. Fresh flowers were a nice addition. Host got back to us quickly with answers to our questions. Nice location close to tubing, wineries and the historic attractions

Very pretty area, a little tricky since the roads near the residence are really only for one car. We have a big pick up so we were very careful coming and going.

Quick to downtown, “The Barn” right around the corner was a great spot. Easy access to main highways to hop over to other towns and wineries in the area.

My friend and I were looking so forward to visiting the area of Harper’s Ferry, but quickly disappointed as soon as we walked into the house we rented for two nights. The owner appears to not have much contact with the cleaning staff and it appears that no recent upgrades have been made. Walls the need painted, vents that had thick dust on them, table fans that were full of dust! Even a roach scurrying down the stairs. Needless to say, we won’t be going back. It could be a beautiful home with some upgrades, landscaping and just a good old fashioned cleaning!

The property is in a great neighborhood and is very close to Harpers Ferry.

Great location for our kids and animal friends to enjoy harpers ferry. We enjoyed snow tubing and hiking. Definitely recommend for families!

The house needs a little TLC but served it’s purpose for us. For folks with mobility issues that have a dog be aware the backyard is on a steep incline. The two master bedrooms with baths was a real plus. The kitchen was well appointed with gadgets and there were plenty of bath towels.

Great location and property. The property manager/owner was very friendly and accommodating. Could use a little more housekeeping/cleaning but nonetheless really enjoyed our stay.

House was perfect for our harpers ferry weekend. Definitely a steep hill to downtown!

Reviews that led me to select this property were that it was very clean had a great location and had good amenities. The cleanliness as not at all the case this time and it was just not as the pictures showed. It seemed rather dingy, some things in disrepair, on top of not being clean. I will say that I AM pleased that the owner was at least accommodating and understanding and did give a partial refund. I hate to give a negative review but feel it’s owed to others to know.

Like’s: close to nearby adventures, casino and Harpers Ferry town.
Dislikes: dirty, I had to soak the tub with Chlorox because it had so much dirt stucked to it. The utensil rack was yellow and red from not cleaning it. Again I soaked it with Chlorox to clean it. The fridge had left over food, again there were a lot of sticky spots in the fridge. Thick long cobwebs were hanging on the walls in the dining area and the entrance hall way. There were no toilet paper, and hand towels. The place itself is ok, only if the house cleaning person will really clean the house. Warren was pleasant to talk to and easy to reach when I got lost.

We had a great stay in the Harpers Ferry area. The location of the property was good for us as it was near River Riders adventure company which we visited 3 different days. My adult children husband and myself electric biked, zip lined and white water rafted. A different type of vacation for us as we usually head to the beach. Keep in mind we were not at the place that much. Really just to shower, sleep and play games in the evening after dining at one of the great restaurants in Harpers Ferry. I am not that picky, but I have to be honest. The place could use a deep cleaning. We left the place more organized then when we arrived do to my OCD. lol I was up early one morning and organized the kitchen cupboards and linens. Not complaining I actually enjoy doing this. :) If you want quiet and convenience this might be the place for your next visit to the Harpers Ferry area. We would probably rent again if we ever visit Harpers Ferry in the future.

This townhouse worked well for a 2 couple weekend away. It was convenient to sight seeing and the area attractions. The 2 master suits was great. It was clean and well equipped.
The TV remotes wouldn’t turn the TVs off and on but would change the channel and there was no way to use a streaming service so that could be addressed and the beds could be replaced as they feel better worn out.
Otherwise it was a great place.

Lovely place, great host!
I was looking for a place I could take my adult niece and my pets. Harpers Ferry offered history, ability to enjoy the water and convenience to town. Found Warren's house. This was a good location for my stay. Walkable to town as long as you are ok with hills. Otherwise, short drive. Place is nice. Offers privacy with two bedrooms with separate baths. I found my bed very comfortable too. Parking right in front. My niece, pets and I had a wonderful time. Warren is a great host. Communicative and helpful. Highly recommend.

Nice stay
This worked out perfectly for our group - good location, easy to access everything, nice parks nearby. Dishes weren't that clean (though can't put that on the owner) and in general felt not so clean (example: extra sheets in closets were strewn all over) but overall nice stay

Great stay, nice walkable little town!
We loved our stay at Warren's place. We were in town to do a little hiking and sight seeing. There were 4 of us who stayed, with two extra that stayed on the first night. One thing that was left out of the listing is just how comfortable the couch is. My nephew said he preferred it to the bed he stayed in at his Mom's rental on the following night! Thanks so much for having us!

Convenient to Harper’s Ferry
Plenty of space for family of 4. Appreciated having 2 1/2 bathrooms. Very conveniently located close to Harper’s Ferry and places to eat. We were there on a very hot weekend (94 degrees). Could have used a fan upstairs.
Very easy to work with owner.

Great for a short or long weekend away
We enjoyed our stay here, everything was as described, there was even a lot of supplies provided by the owner. However, we were running a little low on paper towels and there was no laundry detergent, we didn’t bring any because we didn’t plan to do any laundry, but did have to rinse something in the washing machine without soap after a mishap while hiking. It’s always good to be prepared and we were not, so that’s on us.
The entranceway and kitchen could have been a little cleaner, but the bathrooms were spotless and so were the bedrooms.
The keyless entry door lock was in perfect working order (that might be a silly thing to comment on, but we’ve been to places where there were problems with the keyless entry door lock and it became a nightmare).
The wi-fi became spotty at times, but this didn’t bother us much as we were out exploring for most of our stay, but I assume the issues were due to the incredible amount of rain we received.
This place is a perfect location to everything there is to do in Harpers Ferry. It’s a little bit of a long walk down to the lower town, but doable for sure. We didn’t care to walk all the way down and back in the rain, but on a nice day it would be a very enjoyable walk.

Great host, adequate property.
Interactions with the host were great. He was very responsive to requests. The location is good - within walking distance of downtown if you up to some walking and the neighborhood is quiet. The property itself needs some attention - cleaning and organization.

Enjoyed the townhouse in Harpers Ferry
I responded to a discount offer that hasn't been resolved :( the property was good for visiting the area - close to everything. Wifi was inconsistent. Had cable tv and lots of extra supplies. Property owner was very nice!

Perfect for Weekend Getaway
This property was perfect for my weekend mama-vacation, but would have also worked for 2 couples or a small family. The property is spacious and has lots of seating in the living room. The kitchen is a good size and has all the basics. Both bedrooms have an en suite full bathroom plus there is a half bath downstairs. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with surrounding townhouses so you don't feel isolated. It was easy to drive down to Harpers Ferry for shopping, eating or hiking. The host was very responsive to my questions and helped get the Internet back up and running during a day of strong winds. Overall would recommend.

A very comfortable stay
There are a lot of reasons I am grateful for this home and the hosts. It's hard to find a place that allows pets. We were very comfortable staying here for a few weeks when we were between houses. Thank you!

Excellent choice
We originally wanted to stay in Harpers Ferry--but we were glad we didn't. This house is a stone's throw from HF, quiet, well maintained with all the necessities. Best of all---2.5 bathrooms. I would stay here again.

Bolivar Stay
In short, we enjoyed our stay so much, we are moving to West Virginia in May! The property offered everything you could ask for and more! It was beyond clean. The owner was very friendly and communicative. Most memorable experience I’ve had in my life.

Great Location with even better bedroom/bathroom ratio
Never had to wait for the bathroom. The place is pet friendly, which is another plus. The yard is small, but there is a nature center down the hill and a great playground up the hill, no to mention everything the Harpers Ferry area has to offer.
2.5
Listing was very accurate. We were able to walk through a wooded path or along the road to get to the nearby town. Which is good because parking is limited. The neighborhood was well kept and quite.
