Great walkable location to everything in downtown Savannah. Would enjoy staying here on a return trip!

Jingle Bells Square House was perfect for our group of friends. Its location in the historic district is convenient for exploring Savannah and within walking distance to the river. The neighborhood was quiet, with plenty of free on-street parking. The amenities provided were above our expectations compared to other places we’ve rented in the past, and the screened porch was a great spot for morning coffee. The house was clean from top to bottom, and the beds were very comfortable (including the sofa bed!). We enjoyed our stay!

Enjoyed so much and hope to book again next year.

We really enjoyed our stay the the Jingle Bells Square House this past week. The house was wonderful. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance/utensil and spice you needed for preparing meals (fyi, no grill), great screened in small porch to enjoy the nice weather, fluffy towels and a Keurig for your morning coffee. The beds were not very comfortable and the house location was on the edge of the historic district but everyone in our travel party can recommend this house for your stay in Savannah.

This was our second time staying at the Jingle Bell Square House. It's a lovely home on a relatively quiet street. The interior is complimentary to the history and and age of the home but with modern conveniences. The kitchen is well stocked and very nice, the living area is comfortable with a working fireplace that is easy to use, and the beds were comfortable. There are quite a few steep stairs to go upstairs, so keep that in mind if dealing with limited mobility. The backyard is welcoming, as is the back porch. The pictures and description of the house are accurate. The location is pretty central and lovely. It was easy to walk everywhere. The property manager was friendly and communicative. Highly recommend this rental.

Jingle Bells Square is in a great location to tour the historic distrct and the River area. Great for walking with food and entertainment options close to the house. We loved the home. It was very comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The screened in porch are is great for sitting or drinkin coffee in the AM!

Absolutely gorgeous place. Very clean, well stocked with everything. Walking distance to pretty much everything. Park your car once. Loved it! Will definitely be back.

We had such a good experience with this house! It was the cleanest house we have ever stayed in, and I owned a cleaning company for 16 years! I especially loved the privacy of the screened porch and courtyard.
The location was perfect for our walks to River Street and was quiet in the evenings for resting.
I highly recommend this house for any Savannah trip. :)

My sister, niece and I have been planning a girls weekend for over 5 years and we finally made it happen! And we couldn’t have picked a more beautiful property! The location was perfect, the house was spotless and the owners were extremely helpful. We had the best time! We highly recommend this property.

This place was easy walking to Historic Downtown. The screened in back porch was a great place to unwind and relax. Interior was clean and found no issues with the house. I didn't realize that I shared a backyard with the cottage so when I was on the back porch reading and had someone walk through I was a little surprised but it wasn't an issue. If I come to Savannah again I would definitely stay again.

We had an ideal stay at this property! The check-in was super easy, the house is in the ideal location for a Savannah visit, and the property manager was delightful.
The house is beautiful, with wood flooring and high ceilings. It was impeccably clean with ample towels and toilet paper in each bathroom. The kitchen is equipped if you're looking to cook meals in. We felt at home but better.
We were walking distance from the main attractions of Savannah and had no problem getting around.
The property manager checked in and helped us out so much. We were so grateful to have her so close by!
Don't hesitate to stay here.

Great Stay
Extremely convenient to the history in Savannah, and a quiet neighborhood. If you are here for the party, not your place, check River Rd.
Very nice amenities. "Old Town Trolley" has a stop 2 blocks away, and worth an investment for a weekend of history and family fun. With some places asking more from the renter, they only ask you to reset the thermostats to non-used temperatures.

savannah fun
Its a lovely home, perfect location to explore all that savannah has to offer and a short drive to Tybee for a day at the beach.
Highly recommend staying in the charming historic district home.

Great place in the heart of Savannah
This is a fantastic alternative to the more costly hotels in town. There's quite a few boutique hotels as well as the riverfront locations that are charging around $250-300 per night. For right about the same money, instead of a cramped hotel room, you get a two-floor house to yourself! Great location for writers, working professionals, etc.
The property has two bedrooms equipped with a large queen and two twin beds. There are two bathrooms upstairs and a half bath on the first floor. The house is well equipped, providing a great work space, a good eating space, full kitchen, screened porch and small garden out back.
Positives:
- Great water pressure - a highly overlooked benefit
- Cable TV (no paid channels, though, so entertainment can be on personal devices or likely linked to the TV. We did not test this.)
- Strong Wifi - suited all our needs including streaming, video conferencing, etc
- Great location - seated at the edge of the historic district, there's a lot within walking distance. However, everything is pretty much in a 5 minute drive from the property and things like the riverwalk, Pirate's House and slightly outlying attractions are about 10 minutes drive.
- Clean - it's the cleanest property I've ever been in.
- Eclectic charm - I would describe the theming in the house as post-modern art meets folk art and crashes headlong into country house design. I prefer houses with character.
- Heating/AC are perfect and it appears that for the colder months, that gas fireplaces can be lit, but check with property manager. It was 88 while we were there, so we did not use them.
- Property Manager - Pam is awesome. Everything is well organized in the house and explanations are everywhere. Pam called us as we arrived and answered last-minute questions.
Negatives - (highly subjective as to how negative)
- No condiments, not even sugar, salt or pepper. That's not so much as a negative as it is a warning. However, Parker's is not far and it's open 24 hours.
- STAIRS - If you are not a fan of stairs OR are mobility impaired, this is not the house for you.
- Parking - Parking was free as long as we parked on the South side of the street, but it was crowded at times. This is not going to get better as Savannah is trying to move all street parking to be meterered/pay parking to generate revenue without raising taxes. Be sure to lock your vehicle.

Gorgeous and livable!
This charming historical home has been beautifully renovated so all the annoying parts of an old home are gone and all the lovely grace remains. Vintage flooring, tall windows, and high ceilings recall Savannah's past, but a full modern kitchen and 2.5 baths, as well as TVs and decent wifi mean the modern visitor won't miss a bit of the 21st century. It's filled with quirky art and helpful instructions on everything from how to work the TV (an annoying absence in most vacation rentals) to where you'll find the closest liquor store. Both the heat and the AC work well (we had 50 degree nights and 75 degree days during our visit) and the location, on a leafy street with free parking on the south side was ideal. We loved the screened porch for an afternoon novel and glass of wine, and it was convenient to have the friendly property manager, Pam, right next store. Plus it had two qualities I always look for in a VRBO--wall hooks for towels and clothes, and plenty of task lighting. Truly one of the best VRBOs in which I've stayed.

Good find!
Super clean. Can walk to everything. Friendly neighbors including Pam the property manager. Screened porch was nice little oasis.

I would give it a 10 if I could.
This property was charming, we have stayed in many VRBO's and this one by far was the best in all categories. My husband, myself and my mother-in-law stayed, and we all had the same opinion of excellence!!!

Perfect location for a girls runcation!
A friend and I were in for the Savannah Womens Half Marathon. The home was simply perfect! Walking distance to everything….Forsyth Park (the race’s start/finish area) and the downtown historic district. The street is quiet and lined with the cutest homes. We literally left our car parked outside the house and walked everywhere. The only time we moved it was for a day trip to Tybee Island and when we, sadly, had to leave town at the end of our runcation. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Place
Location was excellent, allowing one to walk to most destinations within the Historic area. The house itself was well maintained, clean, and very spacious for our group of 4. Highly recommended.

Awesome for small group/family
We're a group of 4 adults, visiting Savannah for our friend's wedding. I booked months ahead, and owners were very communicative from start to end. I received check-in info the week before the start of our stay via email. Local property manager also phoned in a welcome call upon our arrival. 1st class service, easy check-in/check-out, nothing crazy to do.
Location is slightly further away from the busiest part of historic downtown, but still very walkable (about 20 minutes from City Market). Love the fact that we could just park our cars on the street in front of the property (it was free starting Friday at 5pm thru the rest of the weekend) and walked everywhere. Plenty of dining options nearby.
2.5 bathrooms meant we could all get ready at the same time for the wedding. Everything you need for a short or long stay was there - we didn't cook, but we heat up leftovers, and that kitchen is top notch! Washer & dryer are available for use. While we didn't wash clothes, we're glad we had a dryer since one of us spilled water all over his pants right before wedding time and we were able to dry it in time.
Can't say enough good things about this property. 100% recommend! Thanks for hosting us.

Delightful!
Our ten night stay at Jingle Bells House was .... well, delightful!
The property is very clean and well maintained, walkable to all of historic Savannah and best of all has a screened back porch! The only thing that would have enhanced our stay: a ceiling fan on the back porch. Nevertheless we braved the August heat and humidity to enjoy daily sits on the porch when we weren't out enjoying/exploring Savannah.
Many thanks to Pam, the property manager, for checking in with us and answering our questions.
Hoping to return soon.
