INSIDE THE HOME
As soon as you step inside the Tahoe Donner Vacation Lodge, you'll be struck by the spacious and cozy atmosphere. With a large kitchen, bright and open living room, spacious dining room with a cozy lounge area with a cozy gas stove to curl up beside, the main living spaces are designed with lots of cozy spaces to sit and spend time together. The primary suite is just off the main living spaces down a short hallway, offering a cozy and comfortable retreat from the rest of the home and is furnished with a comfortable king bed and has a private four-piece ensuite. There are two guest bedrooms on the main floor that offer lots of sleeping options with a queen bed in one and a queen and bunk beds in the other. The upper floor of the home features a bright, comfortable second living room and a fourth bedroom, featuring a six-bed bunk bed room that kids will love.

Please note: In the winter, snow tires and 4WD/AWD are highly recommended. If your car is not equipped with both, please be sure to have chains.

Located on the west side of the Tahoe Donner neighborhood, guests can easily access the Tahoe Donner Ski Resort, Tahoe Donner Golf Course and have access to the Tahoe Donner Association’s clubhouse! Both Donner Lake and Lake Tahoe are nearby, and downtown Truckee is an easy drive away.

The house was exactly as shown in the pictures. Spacious living area ideal for our family and our pup. Everything was perfect and clean upon our arrival. There was a power outage in the area our first night but we called our host who let us know they were aware and would give us updates if requested. The power came back a little over an hour later. I would recommend bringing flashlights as we were not prepared for it.

Our stay at this property during a hot summer weekend was a fantastic experience. The home was immaculately clean and spacious, providing an atmosphere of comfort. Every room was well-equipped with high-quality amenities, enhancing our overall convenience. Kids love the bunk beds in the second floor. The property boasted all essentials for an ideal vacation rental, from a fully-equipped kitchen to comfortable bedrooms and clean bathrooms. Special mention must be made of the excellent outdoor amenities including a barbecue setup, and cozy patio, perfect for relaxing evenings. In summary, this property delivered an exceptional vacation experience, ticking all the right boxes for comfort, cleanliness, space, and quality amenities. We look forward to revisiting soon.

The size & layout of this cabin were perfect for our annual Donner vacation. Master bdrm is separate from the other bedrooms. The upstairs is perfect for the kids. And there are 2 other bedrooms. Plenty of room for everyone. Nice quiet neighborhood, yet not too far from the lake. This cabin was clean and plenty of room in the kitchen. Will come back next year!

We enjoyed the snow! So much snow!!! We have rented several different homes in the area over the years. The home we rented this past week end needs someone to go through it and check it out! These homes are not cheap to rent and I understand that some renters are hard on places but that being said the home owner needs to go through the home and replace/organize the kitchen, toys, fix replace the towel racks(downstairs bath) drapes(main bedroom) wall patches & slow drains in both downstairs bathrooms. It makes me not want to spend my money renting this way anymore.

Everything about our stay was so great. We loved the cabin itself with all the space, the location was great, loved that it was dog-friendly, and we appreciated how clear the communication was. We had several friends come together for a birthday celebration so the 2 tripe-bunk-beds were a great addition (albeit hilarious for a group of adults). The one thing I wish we had known prior to booking the stay was the benefits of booking directly through Tahoe Signature Properties (as opposed to through AirBnb). Something to know for next time! It also would have been nice if the deck was shoveled so we could enjoy a bit better.

Really nice place with good rooms to relax in and enjoy. My only recommendation would be to ask how recently the hot tub was cleaned before you go to make sure it is really clean. Management was very helpful and easy to work with.

The house was great minus one small problem with a sink we weren't made aware of. Having a second living room for kids to hang out in with that awesome bunk room was great. If you come during the winter be prepared to shovel. We had to find the hot tub by digging out snow . It took us a while, but we were able to carve out a path on the deck and down the stairs and around the hot tub. The home was very comfortable and clean.

We initially had some scheduling issues due to the California wild fires. They were very accommodating in helping us figure out a solution. The house was amazing and very clean. The neighborhood was beautiful and spacious. The property management team was very responsive and accommodating. I recommend booking this house and using their service. I plan to book through them in the future. Thank you for everything!

This house was nice, just needs some cleaning lots of spider webs everywhere an the refrigerator did not get cold. Hot tub was used once for a few minutes kiddos got out because there was a nasty smell it smelled really bad an the next day water was green so that was a little upsetting, but they had funny running around.

Great trip to Truckee. The home had a few downsides. The refrigerator did not get to a cold temperature until our 3rd day in the house. The microwave didn't work. We needed to keep most of our food in a cooler with ice. Other than that, the house worked very well for two families.

Fantastic cozy and chill place in Truckee

Great place, immersed in nature. Great amenities, like the hot tub and the BBQ/grill. Everyone had a great time there. Only little flaw, part of the kitchen room had a blackout and couldn't figure out how to restore it. The owner wasn't able to answer in time and tell us where was the fuse box, but fortunately the rest of the house had electricity, so it didn't affect us much.
