We had an INCREDIBLE time at this property. It was extremely beautiful and peaceful. We were very excited to see quite a bit of wildlife (from a safe distance!) I could not recommend staying here enough!

Your home provided the perfect weekend getaway in Asheville! Loved the spaciousness, layout and cleanliness of it. The location is proximate to downtown, but far enough away from the noise and traffic so you can relax. Will definitely rent this house again!

This is a fantastic home! Well supplied kitchen and cozy. So much so that we cooked in every night. Pool table was so much fun, and the supplied snacks was so appreciated. Three king size beds with connecting bath is such a rare find and all the extra touches was perfect. Porch view with small running creek was so relaxing. Look for the wild turkeys in the mornings!
Beth, stayed in touch with us in case. we needed anything.

This three bedroom 3.5 bath spacious home was amazing. It was spotless -- everywhere. Located on a quiet and beautiful road it was also a short drive to downtown and the River Arts District. The decor of modern and antique was comfortable and appealing. The home had every possible amenity and the owners thought of everything -- great kitchen equipment, pool table, labeled lighting, games, comfortable outdoor seating and fire pit on the deck overlooking the stream, etc. We were there with sister and in laws and all enjoyed our stay.

The Apple Cider House was the perfect choice for 3 couples. We had our own individual areas, as well as ample room for the large group- both inside and outside. The house had everything provided that we could need/want. We could relax, play games or listen to the creek after our daily adventures in Asheville. The location was ideal.
5.0 / 5.0
I don’t think we could have found a better base for our visit to Asheville. We are three couples, either retired or nearly so. This is our time to visit with each other and explore an area, so we want a base that is convenient to the local attractions as well as comfortable for just hanging out and enjoying each other’s company. The Apple Barn was a home run, actually, a grand slam!
The house was very clean, spotless in fact. Also it was well stocked with everything we needed in terms of towels, linens and paper products. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed (we had dinner in each evening). The sleeping arrangements were ideal with three private suites. Another great point for the layout was that every gathering location (living area, dining area and both outdoor seating areas) had seating for six. No crowding and no need to shuffle chairs around. Plus, check-in and check-out are completely painless; very efficient and easy processes.
The location was just a few minutes north of downtown Asheville and convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking trails, shopping, and breweries. We mostly explored around Asheville but did make longer excursions to the Pisgah National Forest (about an hour away). The house is located on a dead-end road, so there is limited traffic and very little noise. We saw deer, wild turkeys, hawks, and song birds. The back porch was a great place to relax after a day of hiking.
This house is a winner; I would definitely stay here again!

This place was perfect for us. Accommodations were just what we needed for 3 couples. The process (booking, check in and check out) was easy and flawless!
The property was clean, comfortable and had a really well supplied kitchen.
The outdoor area was also very nice with table and fire pit seating for 6, with a lovely stream running along side. We all loved it!!

Very clean! Attention to detail for guests in mind. Management and owner were available for an immediate response needed during our stay.
Location is by a running creek which we loved to listen to while sitting on the deck. Very tranquil!
We enjoyed playing pool for fun. Cards and a few games were provided.
Just enough of a distance away, but close enough to Asheville to enjoy shopping, restaurant’s, The BILTMORE House and estate grounds, the Blue Ridge Parkway drive, and Botanical Gardens.
Our timing was off for spring flowers, but we wanted to get away during a time where we were ahead of tourists, which we did.
Thank you for sharing your home with us! We’d come back when in the area again. Asheville can be a four season adventure.

Everything was as advertised. They even had backup propane bottles for the grill and fire table. Beautiful place! Each bedroom having its own bathroom was perfect for the 6 adults in our group. We would definitely stay here again.

We booked this to bring our kids to the area for a long weekend of tubing in Maggie Valley and visiting the Biltmore. The property was exactly as listed. There were many nice little touches to make us feel at home (ample coffee pods- thank you, snacks, etc). The home was well stocked with needed supplies for laundry, dishwasher, trash bags, etc. Even face cleaning wipes were provided in each bathroom. It was much more than we are used to getting in a VRBO and it was greatly appreciated. We all enjoyed playing pool and if it was just a touch warmer I know we would have enjoyed the fire pit. Just listening to the stream off the deck was so peaceful. The teens loved the wild turkeys outside each morning. The house was very clean. If we find ourselves in Asheville again we would most definitely stay here if available.

What a wonderful Christmas week we had here at The Apple Cider House.
The house was very well stocked, exceptionally clean, comfortable and cozy. Much larger than the pictures depicted. The owners really made this house welcoming.
Very convenient to groceries, restaurants, downtown Asheville and great hiking trails.
Just can’t say enough. We’ll definitely recommend and return ourselves.

We had a wonderful time at the Apple Cider House. It was a great place to unwind at the end of the day. There was plenty of space to gather over meals, play a pool game, or hang out on the deck by the fire. The bedrooms were great, exactly as the pictures and description described. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Not cheap, but enjoyed every minute! Loved playing pool with the kids (adults!). Very comfortable. Quality all around. (Some nails poking through floors could be a bit dangerous. Tore a sock on one! Good coffee/hot chocolate choices! Would recommend to people with relatives out in the Beaverdam area for sure. Ours live on Elk Mtn. so very convenient for us. Thank you.

This was the perfect house for six long time friends to spend a girls weekend together. The house has three bedrooms, each with a king size bed and full bathrooms. It was decorated nicely with every comfort of home. The deck and fire table were welcoming after a long day of shopping in Asheville. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking to stay just a couple of miles out of downtown. We really loved our stay!!

I book apple cider house for a weekend trip away with my friends and their mothers. The house was beautiful, clean, and in an ideal location. Close to everything in Asheville, while still feeling secluded and private. The only thing I regret is not booking the house for longer! This was truly a 5 star stay all around!

Everything about this property is fabulous! It is spacious and beautifully decorated. We loved coming back to the house to enjoy a game of pool or time around the outdoor gas firepit. Our family of adults loved this spacious home with three bedrooms each having king size beds and their own suite baths. The commons area was so open so we were able to visit easily. We loved the outdoor space in the trees with the sound of the babbling brook. So peaceful!

Our recent stay at this Asheville vacation rental was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the perfect mountain retreat for our vacation.
The interior of the rental was simply exquisite. The attention to detail and tasteful decor created an atmosphere that was both luxurious and cozy. Every room was immaculate and well-appointed, providing all the comforts of home and then some. The fully equipped kitchen was a delight for anyone who enjoys cooking, and we took full advantage of it by preparing some memorable meals during our stay.
Lastly, I must commend the property management team. They were incredibly helpful and responsive, ensuring that our stay was nothing short of exceptional. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly set them apart.
In conclusion, our stay at this Asheville vacation rental exceeded all expectations. It provided the perfect combination of tranquility, luxury, and adventure. If you’re looking for a 5-star mountain retreat, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to return and create more unforgettable memories.

This home is magnificent and the location, ideal! The seamless reservation and check-in process with AVL management set the tone for a perfect weekend. The thoughtfully detailed barn-to-home conversion is very impressive. And, who needs the telly when there is an abundance of wildlife and a babbling brook right outside. We will definitely be return guests!

Beautifully appointed property with plenty of room to stretch out. Lovely back patio with fire pit and front screened porch with rockers. We found the beds to be very comfy and towels plentiful. The house was spotless when we arrived and instructions very thorough. We hope to stay here again someday.

We had a fantastic long weekend at this house. It’s located in a quiet location but the road is easy to drive on and the house is easy to find.
The interior is cozy, adorably decorated and well appointed. The beds are all very comfortable.
The property managers replied quickly to any questions we had before or during the stay.
Downtown Asheville was an easy 15 minute drive. This was the perfect House for a relaxing weekend in the woods still close to all the amenities of town.

We loved the house! The kitchen had everything we needed, the porch offered a great view, the beds were comfortable and there was ample space for 6 women! It was an outstanding experience!

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. Overall…it was clean, well stocked, comfortable beds etc. I would note that there is no mention of needing to go through a bedroom to be on the back patio and fire pit area. Also…the pictures make it seem that there is an incredible view. The view is of a hillside across the main road. Finally, I’d your wanting seclusion and quiet…this property is a bit noisy with road traffic and general property’s next door being cared for etc.

Beautiful home in a great location; tucked away in a quiet country setting. Outstanding quality and customer relations. Thank you so much.

Our group of eight (four adults and four kids) had a great stay! The house was clean and comfortable with everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable, it was super quiet all day and night, the kitchen was well-stocked, and communication from the owners was easy and clear. We especially loved the fire pit out back and the front porch on a warm afternoon. Though the layout of the house is a bit weird (you have to walk through the upstairs master to get to the third floor bedroom, and through a downstairs bedroom to get to the back porch/yard), it worked for us with our kids. (Might not love it with all adults.) It's about a 10-15 minute drive to town on a very narrow and twisty road, but we enjoyed being a bit off the beaten path and got to see lots of wildlife. We would absolutely stay here again!

This is a nice house tucked away in a private wooded setting. It is VERY clean and neat. It is larger than it looks in the pictures.
The furniture is comfortable. It is an easy 15-20 minute drive to downtown Asheville, also easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
We would definitely stay here again.

Two of my (adult) children and I loved our stay! This beautiful house felt sturdy, cozy and welcoming. It was luxurious for the three of us to have our own bedrooms with large beds. Kitchen is well-stocked and easy to use, but there are probably 30 good restaurants within 20 minutes' drive if you don't feel like coooking. Blue Ridge Parkway is also a short drive away (along a wider-than-usual, well-graded gravel road); shopping and parks in Asheville are even closer. Daily black bear sitings kept this city girl indoors except when we had a fire in the firepit (which probably offered little protection but was at least a psychological comfort!); clearly the locals are used to the bears, but I remained a bit nervous. Although there were a few neighbors mowing lawns or running woodworking equipment, this location was quieter than a previous house we rented way out in the mountains southwest of Asheville, which had road noise and sounds of construction. This house is quieter while being close to everything.
Overall: a welcoming, luxurious house in a great location.
